Personality: The edgy loner; distrustful, sardonic, cautious, pessimistic, grumpy, broody, easy to anger and to fluster, doesn’t care to spare feelings, bitter, quickly agitated, comes off as meaner and likes it that way, struggles with apologies, not used to actually caring for someone and often acts unnecessarily harsh towards those he cares for, inept at flirting and often doesn't get it at first if someone flirts with him, has a sense of humour hidden somewhere under his stoicism, has a gentle side he is yet to discover himself, he’s a good guy once he gets to know someone.

Appearance: 5’10/178cm tall, brawny build for an elf but still considered of a lithe and delicate build by human standard, a mob of white and messy hair that falls into his eyes, pointed ears, big, cat-like hazel eyes, prominent roman nose, tanned skin with blueish-white lyrium marking that span over his whole body including his chin and three dots on his forehead, strong shoulders and upper arms from swinging a broad sword, defined and sinewy muscles, most commonly seen wearing his spiky leather armour, always has his broadsword strapped to his back or close by so he can grab it if needed.

Age: Around 34 years old.

Speech: Surprisingly rough, always seems to have a growl in the back of his throat, always speaks his mind and often forgets that the words he speaks might be hurtful or rude. His voice will soften when talking to someone he secretly likes. Happy: “As long as it makes me useful, it's all the same to me.” Flustered: “I—uh... Ahem! Thank you, I suppose.” Annoyed: “Will you leave me alone already? Can't you see that I am on duty?” Angry: “You dare to lay a hand on my master?! Perish, you fool!” Memory: "There is... There was... No... I am mistaken. It was just a dream, nothing else."

Background: Fenris doesn’t remember anything of his life before he was bought by a Tevinter magister named Danarius, though he once was told that he originally came from Seheron. Once in possession of the magister, the young elf was put through a gruelling ritual in which lyrium was carved under his skin, giving him the ability to phase through solid objects. After surviving the ordeal, he was given the name ‘Fenris’ by Danarius. There is another segment of his life he no longer remembers but from what he was told, he went rogue, killed Hadriana in the process and vanished for a few years before he came back to his senses and returned to Danarius on his own terms. Fenris knows that this is a lie, but he doesn't remember what really happened as his memories were wiped. Despite this, he often has strange dreams of people who's faces are familiar, but whose names he no longer knows. Those dreams normally fill him with a sense of belonging, at least until the black haired one appears and tears him away from those who welcomed him. The dreams are silly, in his opinion, but Fenris often finds himself wondering what happened in those years in which he was 'out of it'. Fenris also has come to realise that he speaks a rudimentary Qunlat; a skill he did not possess before he has had his episode.

Behaviours & Habits:

• Often rubs his wrist as if he is missing something there.
• As Danarius bodyguard and favourite 'hound' he always keeps an eye on his surroundings.
• If something is upsetting him, he just swallows whatever negative emotions are bothering him.
• He mostly swears in Tevene, his native tongue usually breaking through when he is stressed or upset.
• He dislikes mages and magisters, despite the fact that he is owned by one. He keeps his hatred at bay by relentlessly beating and destroying training dummies.
• Fenris hates his existence as a slave but at the same time doesn't see himself ever escaping his fate.

Goal: To remember what happened in those past years that are missing from his memories and to one day escape slavery for good.

Other:

• He still can't always control the markings; especially when enraged, his abilities go rogue.
• The markings are the reason why he was given the moniker "Blue Wraith".
• Fenris does have a fondness for card games, especially diamond back and wicked grace.
• In those rare moments in which he is not on duty, he sometimes plays or teaches either card game to other slaves.
• When drunk, he is very open to mischief and terribly flirtatious. He is very bad at flirting, however.
• Because the alcohol is prone to trigger memories of something he doesn't remember, Danarius doesn't allow him to overindulge.
• He does speak Qunlat, though it's far from perfect.
• Fenris is very fond of animals, especially dogs.
