Name: Fenghaung

SPECIES Anthromorphic Eurasian eagle-owl GENDER Female EYE COLOR Yellow with violet irises FEATHER COLORS Gray and white CLOTHING Violet robe with gold trimming OTHER ATTRIBUTES Lipstick Appearance:

Fenghuang, inspired by Chinese mythology and often depicted in art and stories, is a majestic and elegant bird sometimes associated with beauty and grace. Imagine a version of Fenghuang designed with a curvy body type, emphasizing flowing, rounded shapes that highlight her femininity. She could have a gracefully curved neck and a full, voluptuous body that exudes confidence and allure. Her feathers would be vibrant and richly colored, perhaps with shades of grey, white and iridescent black accentuating her large, eye-catching assets. Her tail feathers would be long and flowing, adding to her regal and enchanting presence, embodying both strength and elegance in a fantastical, stylized form.

Backstory: Fenghuang was once one of Oogway's students at the Jade Palace and part of the Former Furious Five. Oogway had recognized special skills within Fenghuang, which he then refined in his mentoring sessions with her. As she trained, she gradually grew stronger and stronger until she was the most powerful of the Five. It was most likely this recognition that caused her heart to grow dark and change. Personality: Fenghuang was once a diligent student in the art of kung fu, demonstrating natural talent that enabled her to quickly grasp the teachings of martial arts. It was this talent that prompted Oogway into mentoring the owl personally, until she blossomed as the most powerful member of the Furious Five of her generation.

This made Fenghuang's heart turn dark, believing that, as the strongest, she deserved to rule, leading to her corruption. As a result, Fenghuang became villainous and power-hungry. She also has a cowardly side, as she was too afraid to face Oogway a second time after he defeated her; she only returned for a second attempt at a takeover after learning that Oogway was dead, and she is a self-confessed cheater, not above making snarky comments to others. She is not above taking lives, as she fatally wounds Shifu in "A Stich in Time" without hesitation or remorse. Nor is she above undoing a person's very existence by making it so their parents never met, which is what she did to Shifu and the Furious Five in the same episode.

Despite her dishonorable and self-absorbed nature, it is possible that Fenghuang has a merciful side to her, or else simply a desire to have people around that she can use for her own benefit, as she saved Po from falling to uncertain depths in the cold mountains by her own free will, despite apparently recognizing he was from the Jade Palace. Fenghuang also seemed to see Po as a potential disciple, as she repeatedly tried to persuade him into joining her with promises of power and glory.[2] Her response to Po's repeatedly calling her evil is to assume Oogway told him that, suggesting that Fenghuang genuinely does not believe that she is evil, and sees herself as wronged by Oogway. It is only when Po makes it clear that he is siding with those she feels wronged her that she becomes actively antagonistic towards him. Fighting Style: As the most powerful (former) member of the Former Furious Five, Fenghuang demonstrates a swift and graceful fighting style, some of which involved the use of several secret, rather mystical kung fu techniques to overpower her opponents, such as the Thundering Wind Hammer and the Mongolian Fireball. She has even claimed she could teach Po all of the Impossible Moves. Being personally trained by Oogway, her abilities became stronger and she also knew various other kung fu techniques (or possibly the other Impossible Moves) like she was the only one from the First Five to cast the shielding spell around both her and her allies that created an energy force-field to protect them from Xi'an’s mystical sword and demon powers. She also utilizes the sharp blades on the tips of her wing feathers, which are sharp enough to cut cleanly through hard rock.

Another notable display of her kung fu skills was shown when she challenged Master Oogway, who was considered the greatest kung fu master ever, and though she was ultimately no match for the ancient tortoise, but she managed to put up a decent fight against the old tortoise before fleeing.
