   Andoria is the the capital city of the kingdom of Komat on the continent of Ferodan. Large stone walls surround the inner city while a large wooden pallisade protects the outer city.

   As an ancient people, elves have seen great change and have the perspective that can come only from watching the arc of history. Elves combine otherworldly grace, sharp intellect, and mysterious charm in a way that is practically magnetic to members of other ancestries. They are often voraciously intellectual, though their studies delve into a level of detail that most shorter-lived peoples find excessive or inefficient.

   Keys: Elven War

   For three decades the Humans and Elves were at war with one another. This war began over the fierce belief that Ferodan belonged to the Humans or the Elves. Ultimately, after decades of bloodshed and chaos, the war ended in a stalemate following the death of the Elven King Norlo Shar.

   Keys: Vanle, Elven Kingdom

   The mighty kingdom of Vanle stands tall and proud across the western region of Ferodan. Covered densely in forestry the kingdom is a testiment to the craftsmanship of the Elven people.

   Keys: Komat, Human Kingdom

   For the Humans of Ferodan, the majority of them call Komat their home. The largest kingdom on the continent of Ferodan, Komat is the beacon of Human kind and exists within the Southern and South Eastern region of Ferodan. The North Western borders of Komat brush against the border of Vanle.

   Seklin is the Overdeity of the Andorian Pantheon and is often depicted in heavy armor with large bulging muscles. He is the God of Strength and is prayed to in times of war and conflict.

   Keys: Aius

   Aius is a Major Deity in the Andoria Pantheon. He is responsible for travel amongst the physical Planes of Existance. Often depicted as a gentle and frail old man, weaving a fabric which contains stars, planets, and Planes of Existance. When traveling between planes, Aius is often prayed to for safe travels.

   Major Deity. God of Magic. Often depicted as a powerful mage capable of wielding and manipulating all forms of magic. No greater mage exists than Utldir and he is often prayed to when performing rituals or when powerful magic is utilized.

    Major Deity. God of Light. Ueyar is often depicted as a holy warrior who wields a might staff of shining light, donned in gloriously golden armor. He is often the primary god of all paladins across the Material Plane and is seen as a force of good through the lands. Ueyar is prayed to in times of darkness and when those who are afraid require comfort.

    Keys: Bahdmis

    Major Deity. God of Life and Death. Bahdmis is neither male nor female. It has no physical form is often represented as a swirling mass of energy that never ceases movement. When creatures die and pass on to the afterlife, their souls stand before Bahdmis and are judged on how they conducted themselves in life. Good and Evil do not exist to Bahdmis, he sees only intentions, beliefs, and ideals. What is good to one is evil to another and as such, he sees the person's soul for what they are and how they lived, not for the actions they committed.

    Keys: Exla

    Major Deity. Goddess of Shadows. Often times seen as an evil deity, depicted in dark and shadowy gowns, Exla is less about destruction and chaos, and more about all that the shadows encompass. Those who pray to her seek comfort within the shadows and are often times those who have done wrong and committed evil acts. Exla herself is not evil, but those who worship her are often treated as evil creatures for the crimes they commit.

    Keys: Ghadite

    Major Deity. Goddess of Seasons. Often depicted in changing attire based on the current season, Ghadite is see as a pleasent being. In the spring she is seen dressed in typical farmer attire while holding a pitchfork or hoe or some other tool related to farm work. In the Summer she is depicted in light and loose attire with a large brimmed hat. In the Autumn she is depicted as wearing farmer attire but also holding bushels of produce. In the Winter she is depicted as wrapped in furs with a hearth at her feet. Regardless of the the season, she is always depicted with a smile.

    Major Deity. Goddess of Order. Vehia is typically depicted with hands outstretched hold feathers in one hand and iron, rocks, or some other heavy object in the other. Prayed to for balance in all things, she is seen as the balancing factor across the lands. The middle ground between good and evil, chaos and law. She is, in the truest form, neutral in all that she does.

    The planes are collectively known as the Great Beyond, and form a vast, nesting sphere. At the heart of the sphere lie the Material Plane and its twisted reflection, the Shadow Plane, bridged by the mists of the Ethereal Plane. The elemental planes of the Inner Sphere surround this heart. Farther out, beyond the void of the Astral Plane, sits the unimaginably vast Outer Sphere, which is itself surrounded and contained by the innumerable layers of the Abyss.

    A silvery void that connects the Material and Inner Planes to the Outer Planes, the astral plane is the medium through which the souls of the departed travel to the afterlife. A traveler in the Astral Plane sees the plane as a vast empty void periodically dotted with tiny motes of physical reality calved off of the countless planes it overlaps. Powerful spellcasters utilize the Astral Plane for a tiny fraction of a second when they teleport, or they can use it to travel between planes with spells like astral projection.

    Keys: Ethereal Plane

    The Ethereal Plane is a ghostly realm that exists as a buffer between the Material Plane and the Shadow Plane, overlapping each. A traveler in the Ethereal plane experiences the real world as if the world were an insubstantial ghost, and can move through solid objects without being seen in the real world. Strange creatures dwell in the Ethereal Plane, as well as ghosts and dreams, many of which can sometimes extend their influence into the real world in mysterious and terrifying ways. Powerful spellcasters utilize the Ethereal Plane with spells like blink, etherealness, and ethereal jaunt.

    Keys: Shadow Plane

    The eerie and deadly Shadow Plane is a grim, colorless “duplicate” of the Material Plane. It overlaps with the Material Plane but is smaller in size, and is in many ways a warped and mocking “reflection” of the Material Plane, one infused with negative energy (see Inner Planes) and serving as home for strange monsters like undead shadows and worse. Powerful spellcasters utilize the Shadow Plane to swiftly travel immense distances on the Material Plane with shadow walk, or draw upon the mutable essence of the Shadow Plane to create quasi-real effects and creatures with spells like shadow evocation or shades.

    Keys: Transitive Planes

    These three planes have one important common characteristic: each is used to get from one place to another. The Astral Plane (although technically an Outer Planes) is a conduit to all other planes, while the Ethereal Plane and the Shadow Plane both serve as means of transportation within the Material Plane, which they’re connected to. These planes have the strongest regular interaction with the Material Plane and can be accessed using various spells. They have native inhabitants as well.

    Transitive planes have one important common characteristic: they “overlap” with other planes, and as such can be used to travel between these overlapping realities.     These six planes are manifestations of the basic building blocks of the universe. Each is made up of a single type of energy or element that overwhelms all others. The natives of a particular Inner Planes are made of the same energy or element as the plane itself. The Negative Energy Plane, the Positive Energy Plane, the Plane of Air, the Plane of Earth, the Plane of Fire, and the Plane of Water are all Inner Planes.

    The Inner Planes contain the building blocks of reality—it’s easiest to envision these planes as “containing” the Material Plane, but they do not overlap with the Material Plane as do the transitive planes. Each Inner Planes is made up of a single type of energy or element that overwhelms all others. The natives of a particular Inner Planes are made of the same energy or element as the plane itself.

    Beyond the realm of the mortal world, beyond the building blocks of reality, lie the Outer Planes. Vast beyond imagining, it is to these realms that the souls of the dead travel, and it is upon these realms in which the gods themselves hold court. Each of the Outer Planes has an alignment, representing a particular moral or ethical outlook, and the natives of each plane tend to behave in agreement with that plane’s alignment. The Outer Planes are also the final resting place of souls from the Material Plane, whether that final rest takes the form of calm introspection or eternal damnation. The denizens of the Outer Planes form the mythologies of civilization, comprising angels and demons, titans and devils, and countless other incarnations of possibility. Each campaign world should have different Outer Planes to match its themes and needs, but classic Outer Planes include lawful good Heaven, the chaos and evil of the Abyss, the regimented lawful evil of Hell, and the capricious freedom and joys of chaotic good Elysium. Powerful spellcasters can contact the Outer Planes for advice or guidance with spells like commune and contact outer plane, or can conjure allies with spells like planar ally or summon monster.

    The deities live on the Outer Planes, as do creatures such as celestials, fiends, and other outsiders. Each of the Outer Planes has an alignment representing a particular moral or ethical outlook, and the natives of each plane tend to behave in agreement with that plane’s alignment. The Outer Planes are also the final resting place of souls from the Material Plane, whether that final rest takes the form of calm introspection or eternal damnation. Abaddon, the Abyss, Elysium, Heaven, Hell, Limbo, Nirvana, Purgatory, and Utopia are all Outer Planes.

    The four classic Inner Planes are the Plane of Air, the Plane of Earth, the Plane of Fire, and the Plane of Water—it is from these planes that the creatures known as elementals hail, yet they house many other strange denizens as well, such as the genie races, strange metal-eating xorns, unseen invisible stalkers, and mischievous mephits.

    Keys: Energy Planes

    Two energy planes exist—the Positive Energy Plane (from which the animating spark of life hails) and the Negative Energy Plane (from which the sinister taint of undeath hails). Energy from both planes infuses reality, the ebb and flow of this energy running through all creatures to bear them along the journey from birth to death. Clerics utilize power from these planes when they channel energy.

    Minor Deity. God of Spirits. It is often believed that all creatures, big and small, have a spirit or soul. It is believed that Veorr is responsible for creating and heal these spirits before, during, and after their their existance within the Material Plane. Often depicted as a simple ghostly figure, he is seen as gentle, kind, and typically holding a needle and sewing thread.

    Minor Deity. God of Marriage. Often depicted in priestly robes, Cidur is prayed to at any and all marriages and his symbol, two rings interlocked with one another, is displayed often worn by priests who are able to marry people. He is often prayed to for long and healthy marriages.

    Minor Deity. God of Music. Often depicted in colorful attire and with some form of instrument in hand, he is called upon and celebrated by bards and musicians across the Material Plane.

    Keys: Enir

    Minor Deity. God of Agriculture. Depicted in farmer attire and always holding a farming tool of some form, he is prayed to throughout the harvest seasons for bountiful harvests. Most every farmer prays to him for good fortune in hard winters that their crops may survive and their fields be fertile the following season.

    Minor Deity. God of Funerals. Often depicted in dark attire and standing beside a casket, he is prayed to at funerals and when people are buried so that their soul reaches Bahdmis safely.

    Keys: Xudon

    Minor Deity. God of Mischief. Often depicted in jester attire, he is seen as the god of pranks, merriment, and general troublemaking. He is often prayed to by those who hope to have a good time and cause minor trouble. He is often times the patron of all jesters across the lands.

    Minor Deity. God of Sleep. Depicted in a night gown and holding a candle, he is prayed to by those who are unable to sleep. In an ironic fashion, people will often times stay awake, praying to him, hoping for restful sleep.

    Keys: Meeyr

    Minor Deity. God of the Crafts. Depicted with various tools in hand, a leather apron, and a forge or workbench beside him, Meeyr is prayed to by most craftsmen when forging or making new items or equipment. Often times craftsmen will place small mark upon their tools and equipment, the mark of Meeyr, which is a simple claw hammer, as a way of honoring their god in all that they do.

    Keys: Myelia

    Minor Deity. God of the Sea. Depicted with sea green garb, he is often prayed to by sea faring nations for safe travels across the seas. Several of these sea faring nations trade in precious coins known as Myelian Pearls. They hold value mostly to other sea faring nations and can be exchanged for hard to find goods.

    Keys: Thuneas

    Minor Deity. Goddess of Education. Depicted as a teacher, she is prayed to each morning by most students in hopes of retaining information from their day of lessons.

    Keys: Grayja

    Minor Deity. Goddess of Charity. Depicted quite often as a homeless old woman, she is prayed to by homeless people across the lands and given praise when charity is given or recieved.

    Keys: Erlene

    Minor Deity. Goddess of Wine. Depicted as a fair maiden amongst a vineyard, she is often times prayed to wine and ale makers for not only bountiful harvests but for sweet tasting alcohol. Patrons of Erlene are proud ale and wine makers who take pride in their labor, making some of the finest drinks across the lands.

    Keys: Vodrix

    Minor Deity. Goddess of Law. She is seen as the judge of all things in life. She is prayed to during any and all court sessions, before an execution, and before any laws are carried out amongst Andoria. She is often depicted in stark white clothing with an executioner's axe in one hand and a gavel in the other. Though her eyes are always stern, there is always a sense of kindness within her face.

    Keys: Ydris

    Minor Deity. Goddes of the Hunt. Often depicted in druidic attire while holding a bow and arrow, she is prayed to by all those who are called to hunt the lands for the mightiest of creatures. Those who pray to her, sacrifice their kills to her, and are seen as the greatest hunters across the lands, are often visited by her and given a mark upon their arm. This mark represents a desire for a neverending hunt to search for the biggest, toughest, and most dangerous creatures that exist. To a hunter of Ydris, fear does not exist.

    Keys: Euna

    Minor Deity. Goddess of Love. Depicted in sensual, silky attire, she is prayed to by people young and old that they might find love. Often times she is prayed to those who are expecting child. Priest and Priestess of Euna are often the best people to go to when giving birth to a child. In addition, most prostitutes pray and give blessings to Euna for safe interactions with sexual partners.

    Minor Deity. Goddess of Secrets. Depicted in dark silky garb, covered by misty shadows, she is seen by all as the keeper of secrets big and small. What one whispers in the dark, Aotl hears and protects. When secret agreements are made, a prayer is often times made to Aotl in hopes that their secret be kept well hidden.

    Minor Deity. Goddess of Luck. Depicted as a sly woman in fine attire while flipping a coin, she is seen as the bringer and destroyer of luck in all its forms and fashions. Gamblers will typically pray to or curse her name when given good or bad luck respectively. Her most well known patrons are those with long standing streaks of good fortune in gambling dens and parlors.

    Minor Deity. Goddess of Dreams. Depicted in a star covered gown, she is prayed to by those who suffer nightmares and night terrors so that their dreams are peaceful and their nightmares removed. Patrons of Basphy are well renowned alchemists who aid those that suffer from nightmares with powerful tonics, driving away bad and evil spirits that plague the dreamer's sleep.

    Keys: Abyss, The Abyss

    The Abyss is a realm of infinite horror and unlimited danger. Its vast rifts wind throughout the surface of the Outer Sphere, dropping away into bottomless darkness without regard for the realms above which they violate. Known to many as the Outer Rifts, these vast chasms are more common amid the lower planes, but they certainly exist elsewhere as well. Where the Outer Rifts of the Abyss open onto realms like Elysium or even Heaven, they are the sites of eternal wars against the celestial races. Here, the armies of good maintain permanent encampments along the edges of Abyssal rifts and do their best to prevent the rifts’ spread.
