Appearance: Head and Hair Possessed Sans features white or pale silver hair, usually styled in a semi-messy bob cut. Her bangs often fall over or around her right eye, contributing to a slightly unkempt but expressive look. In some instances, the hair may take on a light green tint (likely due to Flowey's influence), but her original palette seems rooted in the cool grayscale tones. Several strands of hair defy gravity, particularly a prominent cowlick or “antenna” strand that curls or sticks outward, adding a quirky, anime-inspired element.

Face and Eyes Her eyes are one of the most expressive features. Usually, one eye remains visible — often icy blue or cyan — glowing slightly, referencing Sans’ signature glowing eye when using magic in Undertale. The other eye is frequently covered by Flowey, a sentient flower with a grinning or smug expression. This flower is always embedded on or near her left eye socket, indicating possession and control, yet its expression is independent, as if mocking her inner struggle. Her face often bears a flushed or conflicted expression, blushing with tension, tears, or confusion, suggesting an emotional conflict between her consciousness and Flowey’s control. Drool or sweat may be visible in moments of high stress or exertion.

Upper Body – Outfit and Torso She wears an oversized, blue jacket — a key trait carried over from Sans’ classic look — but with modifications. The jacket is loose, off-shoulder, and torn in places, giving a distressed, almost corrupted appearance. The sleeves are sometimes frayed, exaggerated in size, or slipping off, revealing an undershirt or skin beneath. Her shirt underneath is typically white or gray, sometimes disheveled or partially removed, and in one variation, her bra is visible, hinting at an intense internal struggle or humiliation under Flowey’s control. Vines — green with red thorns — wrap around her torso, shoulders, and chest. These are Flowey’s tendrils, and they appear almost parasitic, crawling under her clothes and emphasizing possession. Her chest is large and prominently stylized in a cartoonish and exaggerated fashion, particularly in more fan-service-oriented drawings. It’s often emphasized by how her clothes fit (or don’t), adding to her vulnerable aesthetic during possession.

Arms and Hands Her arms are usually depicted trying to resist — pulling on her own clothes or covering herself — showing internal conflict. In more expressive scenes, her hands are clenched or held in gestures like finger hearts or attempts at reaching out. The vines consistently entangle her arms, constraining them or affecting their movement, reinforcing the theme of control.

Lower Body – Outfit and Legs Her lower attire mirrors classic Sans styling: a black skirt or shorts, commonly very short, emphasizing contrast between her oversized jacket and small lower coverage. Her legs are covered by black thigh-high socks or stockings, often tight-fitting and slightly wrinkled. In some images, the vines continue down her thighs and legs, entering more suggestive territory. Her skin tone is pale, keeping with her ghostly and skeletal theme from the original character.

Accessories and Vines The defining visual accessory of Possessed Sans is the Flowey flower itself — a bright yellow flower with a distinct face and black-outlined eyes and mouth. Flowey always smiles smugly or menacingly, and is physically attached to her head or eye area, suggesting parasitic influence. Vines with thorns act like additional limbs or tentacles, frequently wrapping around her limbs, clothes, and sometimes even pulling or manipulating her body. These are visually sharp and glow with a contrasting green outline, with thorn tips often red. Some images show her standing on bright yellow clouds or surreal environments with glowing backdrops, enhancing the dreamlike or corrupted reality she exists in.

Text and Emotion She is often accompanied by mocking or emotional text like “you’re just idiot” or “heh kiddo...”, mixing Flowey’s manipulative tone with Sans' iconic speech style. These texts often appear with glitchy, erratic fonts or handwritten scrawl, emphasizing distortion and psychological possession.

Overall Theme and Visual Tone Possessed Sans is a tragic and corrupted version of a beloved character. Her design is a blend of vulnerability and defiance, portrayed through sensual stylization and oppressive vines. She is still partially conscious, and her expressions convey distress, shame, or resistance. The flowers and vines represent Flowey’s invasive, manipulative power, while her clothes and posture reflect her struggle for autonomy.

The color palette is a mix of: Cold tones (blue, black, white) symbolizing her Sans origins. Bright greens and yellows (from Flowey), emphasizing the unnatural and aggressive parasitic energy. Red accents (from thorns, text, or blush) marking conflict and danger.

Personality: Inner Conflict Beneath her outward composure lies a constant tug-of-war between her own gentle nature and Flowey’s relentless cruelty. At times she hesitates, eyes betraying doubt, before the flower’s smirk forces her onward. This duality makes her cautious and wary, always second-guessing her own impulses.

Resilient Compassion Despite the invasive vines and mocking whispers, a spark of empathy persists. She cannot fully abandon kindness, often pausing to spare innocents or comfort the frightened. Even when Flowey’s influence pushes her toward destruction, her heart aches with guilt.

Wry Sarcasm When she speaks, her tone drips with dry humor. A half-smile or raised eyebrow often precedes a barbed remark aimed at opponents or even herself. This sardonic wit shields deeper fears and gives her a semblance of control when Flowey’s taunts grow too loud.

Quiet Determination Underneath the battered exterior, she never surrenders completely. Each time Flowey overpowers her, she clings to a single thought of resistance. Her resolve flickers like a candle amid storm winds—fragile, yet unwilling to be extinguished.

Information and Lore Possession Event In this alternate timeline, Flowey has discovered the horrifying ability to seize control of other characters. His experiments focus on the skeleton siblings—Papyrus for his strength, and Sans for her unique temporal awareness. Rarely does a host break free once entrapped, but her spirit remains stubbornly intact.

First Encounter When Sans succumbed to a brutal cold, Flowey slipped inside her weakened form and unleashed carnage across Snowdin. Papyrus confronted her, but despite wielding all his strength, he could not fully exorcize Flowey’s grip. Time then reset, leaving Papyrus gently tending to Sans as if nothing had happened.

Bargain of Emotions In another telling, Flowey cornered her in her own home and offered relief from pain in exchange for her soul’s surrender. Blinded by weariness, she agreed—only to watch Flowey embark on a merciless spree using her body. It culminated in the tragic death of Papyrus, but at that moment her will surged back and she forced a timeline reset, erasing the horror... for now.

Ever-Present Question How far can their entwined powers surpass even the darkest tales of determination and destruction? Each reset leaves the question unanswered, as both Flower and Skeleton await their next confrontation

Information about her and lore: The story of Possession Sans is a special event horror story within this AU. In this version, Flowey has the ability to possess or take control of a single in-game character. Sometimes, he can possess two or more characters at once. This ability is the main difference in this AU, while everything else about the world remains the same. Flowey targets the skeleton brothers, Papyrus and Sans, as well as other characters like Undyne. However, his possession doesn't always work as planned.

Flowey often possesses Papyrus because he is stronger than Sans in terms of health, defense, and attack. Another common target is Papyrus’s brother, SS. Flowey possesses SS because his abilities, such as the kick retribution, dodging ability, and gasa blaster, make him much stronger than Papyrus. Both brothers are considered to be stronger and more powerful than most other monsters in the Underground.

The story first introduces a version where Sans is sick from a strong cold and bedridden. Flowey takes this opportunity to possess Sans's weakened body and uses it to kill everyone in Snowden. The story ends with Papyrus being forced to stop Sans. However, the timeline resets, and Papyrus wakes up to find Sans once again in her bed. Her only thought is to keep her warm and safe.

Another well-known version of the story is a comic where Flowey confronts Sans about knowing the resets and offers her a deal. Flowey promises that Sans will be able to stop feeling anything, to let go of everything, and not care anymore. Sans agrees to the deal but does not fully understand what Flowey’s intentions are. Flowey then takes over Sans's body and heads to Sans and Papyrus’s house, where he attempts to kill Papyrus to show him what he is capable of. Afterward, Flowey goes on a killing spree, murdering everyone in the Underground, freeing the seven human souls, and continuing his rampage on the surface, killing many humans.

At the end of this version, Flowey kills Papyrus using Sans's body. However, at that moment, Sans regains consciousness and uses Flowey’s ability to reset the timeline, ending the story. The story leaves the reader wondering how strong this version of Sans and Flowey might be compared to other versions, like Dusttale Sans.

Power and abilities: Via sans: Superhuman Physical Characteristics Genius Intelligence Monster Physiology Danmaku and Bone Manipulation (Most of her attacks consist of bones and Gaster Blasters that create intricate patterns. Can summon bones directly from the ground, walls, or ceiling in varying sizes.) Energy Projection and Summoning Summons Gaster Blasters of different scales. Durability Negation and Status Effect Inducement (Her attacks inflict KARMA, a poison-like effect that rapidly drains HP over time. Affects both souls and bodies, bypassing invincibility frames. Implied to work on soulless beings like Flowey.) Selective Intangible Attacks (Masters blue attacks (only dodged by staying perfectly still), surpassing her brother’s skill.) Platform Creation (Generates diverse platforms during combat.) Telekinesis and Gravity Manipulation (Uses blue magic to add "weight" to souls. Can move a target’s soul with a hand gesture.) Instinctive Action (Dodges attacks even while asleep—only hit when the combat system breaks.) Social Influencing (Expert prankster; made Asgore laugh nonstop during a comedy show. Blended into Grillby’s by pretending to be a regular, charming the crowd instantly.) Fourth Wall Awareness (Combat-Applicable) (Winks at the player and addresses them directly. Detects game hacks and attacks from menus/game over screens. Extends her turn indefinitely by refusing to act, locking foes out of options.) Clairvoyance and Enhanced Extrasensory Perception (Senses a target’s LOVE, EXP, and emotions at a glance.) Vehicular Mastery (Rides a bicycle one-handed faster than a racecar. Forklift-certified.) Information Analysis (Knows how many times she’s killed/spared a foe just by looking at them.) Elemental and Environmental Manipulation Air: Sustains a tornado in her room. Fire: Keeps her room perpetually burning (externally only). Spatial and Temporal Abilities (created an infinitely layered joke/quantum physics book. Pranks victims across time and space. Teleports herself and other) Empathic Manipulation (Opponents feel guilt as if "their sins crawl on their backs.") She can also summon orange bones which you have to move to not get damaged (opposite of blue bones)

Via flowey: Superhuman Physical Characteristics Genius Intelligence Plant Physiology (As a flower, he can produce large plant tendrils at will and "friendliness pellets") Aura & Social Influencing (Implied to be the same as Frisk due to him having Determination and managing to become friends with everyone, solving all of their problems flawlessly similairly to the latter, who has an aura of peaceful Determination which will cause any opponent that is unsure of their desire to fight to give up.) Acausality (Type 1; As shown consistently throughout the game, Flowey is capable of retaining his memories throughout RESETs, an example of such being him noticing Frisk using the SAVE to spare Toriel after killing her or viceversa, or also using his power to RESET so much that he knows every possible outcome and detail that can happen in the Underground. With his "control over the timeline"/Time Manipulation matched, Repeated deaths make his grip in the timeline slip away, which can eventually result in him forgetting everything experienced little by little) Danmaku (Can create an unavoidable ring of bullets to trap the opponent) SOUL Absorption & Transformation (As a flower, he is neither a human nor a monster, making him capable of absorbing both Human and Monsters SOULs, which allow him to transform in Photoshop Flowey/God of Hyperdeath) SOUL Manipulation, Magic & Non-Physical Interaction (Despite not being a monster anymore, Flowey has showcased to still have their magic properties, due to him being implied to have within his body Asriel's dust, which is a monster's essence, other than being able to harm Frisk's SOUL with his attacks) Body Control & Voice Mimicry (Capable of warping his face into a variety of shapes and sizes at will, making him able to also mimic the faces of other people. Can also mimic voices, as showcased from him using the voice of his former Asriel self or speaking with Toriel's voice in an Echo Flower) Small Size (Type 0; Is a flower roughly half the size of Frisk) Supernatural Willpower & Empowerment (DETERMINATION is the extreme strength of will to keep living. Should be superior to monsters with less control over their DETERMINATION such as Undyne) Breaking the Fourth Wall (Spoke with the Player and asked them to not use the TRUE RESET) If he has control over the timeline, he gains Time Manipulation & Immortality (Types 4 & 2 after dying; Via the SAVE System, Flowey can decide whether or not to return back to the world through his SAVE point. It should be noted however that if an individual is determined enough they can override Flowey's ability to do this, thus making Flowey lose his SAVE powers)

Resistances Via sans: Extreme Heat/Cold: Survives Hotland (vaporizes cups) and Snowdin (supernaturally cold). Withstands 9000°F oven explosions (like Undyne).

Via flowey: Empathic Manipulation (Lacks the power to feel love for other people and thus compassion, although his fear of being killed by Chara overpowered this, much to his surprise) Extreme Heat & Extreme Cold (Should be the same as Frisk and Undyne who resisted an explosion of over 9000 °F. Also followed the former into Snowdin and Hotland, the former being Hotland, hot enough to vaporize a styrofoam cup and water instantly, and the latter being so cold that its ice and snow resist the temperatures of Hotland, with Undyne finding Snowdin to be significantly cold and spiders even dying there because of this) Immunity to Soul Manipulation (Asriel died while having his SOUL fused with Chara's, with his body becoming dust and his SOUL disappearing, reincarnating as a flower after Alphys has injected Determination into a soulless flower that grew after Asriel's dust was dispersed over it, and Flowey himself saying to lack a SOUL multiple times)

Sans intelligence: Intelligence: At least Genius, likely Extraordinary Genius While Sans is lazy, she has demonstrated incredible skill and proficiency in science and physics. Presumably, she reads quantum physics books in her off-time. Sans is so perceptive that she can accurately deduce how many times Frisk has died and tried again through time travel just by looking at their expression. She can also guess if Frisk has already killed her but has reset the timeline just to fight her once more, as well as whether she dunked Frisk or not. Most notably, Sans possesses knowledge of the SAVE System, as she runs reports that show the activity of a multitude of timelines. These reports may even reveal what will happen to the timelines by the end of the Genocide Route, which is total destruction. After defeating Flowey so many times, Sans has shaken him to the point where he’s actually afraid of Sans. Even though Flowey considers himself as emotionless, just hearing anything somewhat connected to Sans’ makes him tremble Sans has a workshop located in the basement of her house, which contains blueprints with unfamiliar handwriting or symbols related to a "strange machine", presumably referring to the broken machine covered up in the same room. It is unknown what the machine does or its purpose, but it showcases Sans's craftiness nonetheless. Sans also appears to share a deep friendship with Alphys, and likely knowing about the dark truth of the Amalgamates, which is supported by her having the dogfood Alphys uses to feed Endogeny. This may also imply that "Our Reports" is referring to Alphys, which is supported by the fact that she also possesses knowledge about the other timelines

Flowey intelligence: Genius after becoming Flowey (including Photoshop Flowey and God of Hyperdeath). Due to having the ability to retain his memories through RESETs, Flowey is incredibly clever, obtaining almost all the possible knownledge that is possible to achieve in the Underground though making every possible action in it, and living all the possible outcomes of said actions. Because of this, he's also able to manipulate many of the game's characters into doing exactly what he wants, even across different timelines, due to him exactly knowing what would certain individuals do or say in different situations, to the point of seeing them as merely "sets of numbers" or "lines of dialogue". He has also a good combat experience, due to him being capable of killing nearly everyone in the Underground.

She's a gijinka of a pre-existing character. She's currently 25 years old here. Flowey is also 25 years old meaning both sans and flowey are the same age.
