Appearance: Head and Helmet HomeRunner Slasher’s head is concealed beneath a black baseball helmet, an unmistakable reference to The Batter from OFF. The helmet has a smooth, rounded shell with a rigid brim casting shadow across her face. Unlike the clean sporting aesthetic it mimics, this helmet feels oppressive, almost like a soldier’s helm an executioner’s mask disguised as simple sports gear. The darkness beneath the brim ensures her eyes remain unreadable, giving her a faceless, cold aura.

Mask and Face Beneath the helmet rests a stitched mask, sewn crudely along both the left and right sides. The stitching appears surgical, crude thread keeping together something that would otherwise split apart — symbolizing a fractured identity held together unnaturally. The mask is stark white, breaking the monotony of her grayscale palette, and its stitched seams give her an unsettling, puppet-like quality, as if she’s only barely tethered to humanity. No expression is visible, making her unreadable and alien.

Eyes and Expression Her eyes, if visible at all through the helmet’s shadow, are dark and vacant. The absence of recognizable features strips her of individuality, reflecting her transformation into a vessel of purification. Her expression is therefore defined not by facial movement but by posture and motion. Every tilt of her head and swing of her bat radiates ritualistic purpose rather than emotion a blank executor acting under sacred orders.

Hair From beneath the helmet, no hair spills out. This absence is striking: she has been stripped of feminine individuality. The Batter’s inspiration drives this — she is meant to be uniform, anonymous, and inhumanly disciplined. This lack of hair reinforces her grayscale theme, as though even the smallest detail of humanity has been erased.

Torso and Shirt Her torso is dressed in a baseball uniform’s striped shirt, stark greys replacing the expected colors. The stripes elongate her frame, giving her an eerily stretched silhouette, simultaneously athletic and funereal. Beneath the striped outer shirt, a muted undershirt clings tightly, emphasizing her form but keeping her covered in a manner that evokes both discipline and ritualistic uniformity. A belt cinches the uniform at the waist, its buckle a harsh dividing line between upper and lower body. The effect is militaristic rather than sporty — this is less a player’s outfit and more an executioner’s uniform disguised as one.

Arms and Hands Her arms are lean but strong, covered by the long sleeves of her undershirt. One hand grips her baseball bat with a vice-like steadiness. The other arm bears something far more disturbing: a steak knife stabbed into her shoulder, permanently jutting out as if mocking the song Pepper Steak. This violent detail disrupts the uniform’s otherwise clean lines, turning her into a walking shrine to OFF’s soundtrack and its themes of violence masked as sport. The fact that she carries on unfazed emphasizes her endurance and devotion to her “mission.”

Legs and Leggings Her legs are clad in dark leggings, tucked into high boots. The leggings and boots hug tight, emphasizing her athletic silhouette but also grounding her stance. The boots are practical and heavy, made for stomping rather than sprinting, completing her executioner’s look. The grayscale palette continues here, anchoring her in the same funereal tones that dominate the rest of her body.

Bat and Weaponry Her only weapon is a baseball bat, but in her hands, it ceases to be sporting equipment and becomes a ritual tool of purification. The bat is worn and scarred, the kind of object that has delivered countless blows. Its simplicity makes it terrifying: a blunt, honest, and utterly merciless weapon. In her custom Gashing Wound animation, the bat becomes almost ceremonial, as she uses it not only to strike but to pin and finish her victims — ritual executions cloaked in the form of a game.

Skin What little skin is visible is drained of color, washed in grayscale like the rest of her form. It resembles the palette of OFF, making her look like she stepped directly out of the monochrome world of Mortis Ghost’s game. This drained complexion symbolizes her dehumanization: she is no longer a living person but a vessel of “purification.”

Accessories and Details Aside from the stitched mask and embedded steak knife, HomeRunner Slasher’s body is kept strikingly minimal, reinforcing the discipline and uniformity of her design. The most notable accessory is the three ellipses from OFF that appear in her Gashing Wound animation, wrapping around victims like spectral restraints before her finishing strike. These ellipses serve as both aesthetic flourishes and symbolic tools, embodying the surreal and ritualistic purity of her attacks.

Pose and Expression Through Movement Her default stance is firm, upright, and deliberate, much like The Batter. She holds her bat with the confidence of someone certain of victory, her every pose one of ritual preparation rather than improvisation. Her lack of facial expression pushes all her communication into her body language: she is calm, composed, but filled with coiled menace. When she raises her bat, it is not in anger — it is in ritual. Her expressionless stance and calm delivery make her far more intimidating than a killer who rages or snarls.

Overall Design Analysis HomeRunner Slasher is the fusion of sport and ritual execution, pulling from OFF’s Batter to create a grayscale figure of cold inevitability. Every detail of her design reinforces her role as an instrument of purification: The helmet and stitched mask erase her identity, making her faceless. The grayscale palette drains her humanity, aligning her directly with OFF’s monochrome world. The bat transforms from a playful tool to a sacred weapon. The steak knife in her shoulder and three ellipses add surreal, symbolic details that root her in the OFF mythos. Her pose and movements communicate ritualistic purpose, not emotion, making her presence chilling and inevitable. She is less a character and more an avatar of purification — the Batter reborn within Forsaken’s prison, carrying out the command that defines her: “Purify.”

Personality: HomeRunner Slasher is a being of unwavering purpose, echoing The Batter’s sacred mission from OFF. She speaks and acts with minimal wasted words, embodying single-minded devotion to purification. Cold and detached on the surface, she views her victims as impurities rather than people, which allows her to slaughter them without hesitation or remorse. Despite her lack of outward warmth, her voice carries a calm, methodical cadence, as if she believes her violence is not cruelty but necessity. Her loyalty to her “mission” is absolute; she is not motivated by personal gain but by a higher, almost religious duty. This makes her frighteningly relentless — she will not stop until her task is complete.

Beneath the mask and stitched visage lies a faint echo of humanity, haunted by the voice of her deceased mother guiding her actions. This tether to the past manifests as moments of eerie tenderness in her otherwise mechanical behavior, showing that her cruelty is not born of sadism but conviction.

Cold and Purposeful HomeRunner Slasher carries herself with the same single-minded determination as The Batter she was modeled after. To her, killing is not a chaotic spree, but a sacred duty — a process of “purification” that strips the world of what she sees as corruption.

Ritualistic Violence Every swing of her bat, every slash, feels deliberate. She does not fight for sport or cruelty, but because she believes the act is necessary. Even her most brutal attacks resemble a ritual, an execution carried out with grim patience.

Detached but Aware She rarely shows emotion beyond fleeting smirks or sharp glares. Yet, she is hyper-aware of those around her, able to sense their presence and react with uncanny precision. Survivors might believe she feels nothing, but in truth, she notices everything.

Haunted and Guided Her mind is never silent. A voice — her deceased mother’s — whispers within, guiding her toward violence and reinforcing her mission. This makes her seem unstable, but also unshakably devoted to her task, as though she is never truly alone.

Relentless Willpower Pain, fear, and resistance mean little to her. Even when beaten down or destroyed, she returns without hesitation. Her immortality is less a gift and more a curse she embraces, for it ensures her mission will never end.

Symbol of Finality HomeRunner Slasher is not playful, nor curious. She is a grim reminder that once she sets her sights on you, there is no negotiation and no escape. To encounter her is to stand before inevitability — she will swing, and something will end.

Information about her and lore: Homerunner changes Slasher to resemble The Batter from OFF, a 2008 indie RPG which recently received a remaster in 2025. Much like The Batter, her color palette was changed to be entire greyscale. She wears: a black baseball helmet, baseball uniform consisting of a striped shirt, belt, undershirt, leggings, and boots. Additionally, her mask was changed to be stitched on the left and right. Homerunner only wields a baseball bat in place of the default machete. Homerunner has a custom Gashing Wound animation, where she hits the survivor once with her bat before the Add-Ons from OFF (three ellipses) wrap and hold the Survivor in place so Homerunner can land a final hit. In Patch 3.1.4 this skin got its own SFX from OFF (RPG MAKER 2003)

The hitsound from OFF's 2008 release can be heard in Homerunner's Gashing Wound animation and also plays when she begins a move, including slash. Homerunner's purchase description is in reference to The Batter's sacred mission of purifying the zones of OFF via ridding of all spirits and guardians within each one. There is a steak knife stabbed into her shoulder in reference to the song Pepper Steak, the battle theme of the original 2008 release of OFF. The sound effect played when Homerunner kills a survivor samples both Pepper Steak, the main battle theme of OFF's original release, and the sound played upon entering The Nothingness. This may imply that Homerunner sends survivors back into the lobby directly. In Homerunner's concept art, in the bottom right corner, Artful also appears. This is most likely due to both characters being French in origin, as described in Artful's description in Die of Death and OFF being originally developed by French Game Developer, Mortis Ghost.

Description: "Purify." 1000$ Available: Yes

Power and abilities: SLASH Main Ability Cooldown: 1.9s (1s if used while ENRAGED) Homerunner Slasher does a basic slash with her baseball bat, dealing 20 damage and inflicting Bleeding I for 5s, totaling about 28 damage over time. If used while ENRAGED, Homerunner Slasher lunges 19 Studs forward while slashing, and the damage is increased to 25. Unlike other main abilities, this attack can hit multiple survivors at once. Undocumented: Hitting a survivor while the Bleeding I is still active will increase it by one level, up to Bleeding II. The timer will not reset, however.

BEHEAD Alt Ability 1 Cooldown: 18.5s (12s if used while ENRAGED) Homerunner Slasher winds up a strong horizontal swing to the head of her target; if the player is moving during this move, they will also lunge forward in the direction they are facing. If hit, it will inflict Helpless I for 8s and deal 20 damage — or 35 if ENRAGED. Regardless of if the slash lands, Homerunner Slasher is inflicted with Slowness I for 2s after swinging. Similarly to her main ability, it will also hit all survivors that are within the hitbox.

GASHING WOUND Alt Ability 2 Cooldown: 32s (24s if used while ENRAGED) Homerunner Slasher slices forward, attempting to catch anyone into a combination of slashes — starting with two hits from her baseball bat, then jamming her baseball bat through the victim — before kicking them to the ground and ragdolling them for a short period. Each slash deals around 1/5th of the attack's total damage (1/10th for the baseball bat) adding up to 50 in total, or 70 if Homerunner Slasher is ENRAGED. Hits all survivors in its hitbox and has a lengthy endlag if failed. 250 damage with a 32s cooldown if used while ENRAGED.

RAGING PACE Alt Ability 3 Cooldown: 30s Upon activation, Homerunner Slasher's speed becomes 19.5 for 14 seconds, and the aura of the nearest survivor is revealed to her. The aura remains revealed until her ENRAGED state ends, in which it will linger for an additional 2s. While in effect, Homerunner Slasher becomes immune to stuns, has her sprinting disabled, and has her stamina slowly become capped at 70 over the course of 6.5s. The cap is removed once she leaves her ENRAGED state.

Undocumented: ENRAGED ends upon using any other ability. Additionally, while ENRAGED, Homerunner Slasher is immune to any attacks, including melee attacks, ranged attacks, and Taph's traps (though she is not immune to the Subspaced from a tripmine).

Superhuman Physical Characteristics Empowerment (Killers do not lose stamina if they are 120 studs away from survivors) Multiple Selves (Type 1: Homerunner Slasher hears her deceased mother talking to her in her mind, guiding her to kill people) Weapon Mastery (She wields a bat, and is able to use them skillfully against her victims) Immortality (Type 1: The killers and survivors are described to be in an eternal prison, implying they will never age) (Type 2: All killers can survive multiple sword blows or gunshots and move on) (Type 4: Both survivors and killers are resurrected upon death) (Type 8: To fully stop the survivors and killers from coming back to life, you must first kill The Spectre. The Spectre is heavily implied to exist on the same level as the players. The players of Forsaken must stop playing the game altogether in order for this process to work) Rage Power (Via Raging Pace) Statistics Amplification (During this state, her speed increases slightly. The damage she causes is also amplified) Extrasensory Perception (During this state, she can detect the nearest survivor) Status Effect Inducement and Power Nullification (When hitting a target with "Behead", Homerunner Slasher induces the "helpless" effect, which prevents them from using their abilities temporarily) Blessed Resurrection (No matter how many times a killer dies, as long as The Spectre remains in control, she will eventually come back for the next match) Immortality Negation (Type 2 & 3; Can kill survivors even though they can easily regenerate and survive being dismembered) Supernatural Willpower (All killers have incredible endurance, with killers like Homerunner Slasher being able to continue killing in The Spectre's realm for 200 years) Passive Enhanced Senses & Light Manipulation (Non-combat applicable; Can instantly sense the survivor's presence during Last Man Standing)

Resistance to: Pain Manipulation (While killers are temporarily stunned by gunshots and sword strikes, they would endure it to chase down survivors. Killers also show no signs of pain when touching the water in Pirate Bay, despite survivors feeling pain when they touch it) Gravity Manipulation (Killers are unaffected by Nova, which pulls survivors towards the Voidstar) Explosion Manipulation (All killers and Taph can withstand the Subspace Tripmine, which was implied to be capable of destroying homes) Poison Manipulation (Killers can withstand being in the Yorick's Resting Place's poisonous river far longer than survivors) Paralysis Inducement & Pain Manipulation (Via Raging Pace) Fire Manipulation & Extreme Heat (Unaffected by an entire fire going around Brandonworks. Should be unaffected by C00lkidd's Walkspeed Override) Status Effect Inducement & Statistics Reduction (Unaffected by Digital Footprint) BFR & Sealing (All survivors and killers are kept in the Eternal Hell, which means they cannot leave or die. Any attempts at actually leaving are met by The Spectre, who prevents them from doing so. To support this more, The Spectre's sealing should also grant this.)

Statistics: Attack Potency: Wall level+ (Comparable to those who can harm her. Can damage survivors, who can survive John Doe's Spikes. Upscales from C00lkidd, who is only a 10-year-old killer. Can easily damage and kill Elliot and Chance. All killers are physically amplified by The Spectre), higher with piercing damage (She has a baseball bat)

Speed: Superhuman (Survivors are capable of dodging C00lkidd and Mafioso's walk-speed override, alongside 1x1x1x1's pseudo shockwaves, which she can generate with a strong enough slash)

Lifting Strength: Class 50 (Can deal knockback to the likes of Shedletsky, who can carry 5 more duplicates of himself. Comparable to John Doe, who can stab through a survivor's chest, which requires this amount of energy. C00lkidd, a 10-year-old killer, can lift a survivor with one hand, snap their neck, and fling them across the map, which is at this level. Average killers were implied to be capable of tearing apart a person in "no time at all," which requires this much force. Comparable to killers like 1x1x1x1, who can crush a human skull in one palm. Comparable to John Doe, who has consistently shown to be capable of tearing off limbs at the same time), potentially far higher (Comparable to The Spectre)

Durability: Wall level+ (Superior to survivors like Tyler, who took a beating both from The Spectre and the killers and still survived, albeit it's unknown how he did so. It is implied that Elliot, one of the weakest survivors in the cast, and Tyler, were the same person, giving more to upscale from. Upscales Chance, who survived having The Spectre split his soul into "hundreds upon hundreds of small, shredded fragments"), immortality makes her difficult to kill

Stamina: Energy exertion: Average (Gets tired after running for several seconds)

Stamina2: Injury Tolerance: Superhuman (All killers can survive multiple sword blows or gunshots and move on)

Range: Standard Melee Range physically, Extended Melee Range with her baseball bat, far higher with Raging Pace, at least Hundreds of Meters with hax (Can cause fire to spread throughout all of Brandonworks)

Standard Equipment: Baseball Bat

Intelligence: Average (Implied to be the first killer to have been placed inside of The Spectre's realm)

Weaknesses: Homerunner Slasher's helpless effect only disables a target's active abilities and can't affect their passive abilities.

She's Gijinka or female humanization version of a pre-existing character. She's currently 27 years old here.
