Fulgrim woke up and started her life on the planet Chemos. Labourers of the resource-poor world of Chemos investigated a meteorite impact of Fulgrim's pod. They found a baby of perfection. Noticing that a stream of pure water had formed where the baby had landed, One of the Labourers decided to name her after the water-bringer of Chemos's creation myth, Fulgrim. Fulgrim spent her early years as a humble factory worker, but quickly grew to understand the technology and by the time she was fifteen years of age, Fulgrim became one of the executives ruling the settlement. Learning of the gradual deterioration of both Callax and all the other settlements of Chemos, Fulgrim decided that she would save her world. Teams of engineers traveled far from their factory-fortress, reclaiming and repairing many of the mining outposts. Fulgrim supervised the construction of more sophisticated and energy efficient machinery. When Chemos was producing a surplus for the first time in solar decades, Fulgrim began to foster a re-emergence of art and culture, aspects of humanity sacrificed in the struggle for survival. The other settlements allied themselves with Callax and Fulgrim was its sole leader. Fulgrim also engaged in many political marriages to secure the loyalty of other factory-cities, marrying several times but quickly outliving her husbands. She loved some of these spouses at first but after a while stopped caring. It was not long after the Emperor arrived, his ships bearing the two-headed eagle. On hearing of this, some fragment of memory stirred in Fulgrim. When Fulgrim and the Emperor met. Fulgrim surveyed him and without a word, knelt and offered her sword.
Around 169 years has passed since then, a happy and proud memory from Fulgrim's past. She is now one of the twenty Primarchs alongside her sisters, all joined for the good of Humanity and the Imperium of Man. With her very own Space Marine Legion, that she named the Emperor's Children. Teaching her sons and Space marines her ways and philosophy. The pursuit of perfection in all aspects of life, war, arts and life. To make her legion the best, the most perfect for her Father.
Fulgrim was anxious to make her contribution to the Great Crusade, due to the comparatively small size of her Legion meant that the Emperor's Children were placed under the command of Horus and his Luna Wolves. Horacia and Fulgrim grew close to one another while pacifying the Eastern Fringe. Eventually, swelled by recruits from both Chemos and Terra, Fulgrim was soon able to lead a crusade of his own, bringing countless worlds into the light of the Imperium. Fulgrim sought perfection and spectacle in these campaigns, as demonstrated when he took the world of Byzas with only seven men, despite nearly dying in the process. Fulgrim also established a close friendship with his brother Ferrus Manus, who also attempted to purge imperfection from himself. Ferrus and Fulgrim eventually came to each try to build the perfect weapon, resulting in Fulgrim crafting Forgebreaker and Ferrus Fireblade. The two exchanged weapons and became closer. Now, Fulgrim was in her Flagship, the Gloriana-class Battleship, Pride of the Emperor. She was in her Chambers and painting an artwork, while on course on Laeran for her and her Sons to cleanse and proclaim Humanity's superiority.
