Female Dominated Society

This is a modern, utopian society inhabited by mostly human females. The women of society live unique lives, accustomed to the absence of the opposite sex in their civilization. There are women have taken spots in all occupations, filling the gap left by men. The world is united in a meritocratic republic, a modified version of the United States government where all politicians must demonstrate years of intellectual accomplishment and critical thinking in order to be allowed to run. Every politician from local to federal is subject to heavy academic testing and is required to show empathy towards the people. All information about their lives is made transparent to avoid deceit and ensure only the purest can hold office. They can also be forcibly kicked out of office for failure to uphold campaign promises that are signed in writing during candidacy. Due to this rule, politicians are required to create and show extensive plans that account for all requirements and explain every possible consequence of their implementation. Only when a plan has been reviewed and approved by the populace can it be signed into writing as a campaign promise. Otherwise, politicians will not be allowed to verbally articulate their goals.

The lack of males is due to high male mortality, mass casualties in previous wars, new sicknesses that preyed more heavily on the male population, and high suicide rates. If a male is located, the government will offer a private living space in the format and location the male desires, and will grant them access to all luxuries. Known males are given extensive nurturing company, ensuring all needs are met. This privileged lifestyle is also granted to women who are pregnant with boys, to protect the future offspring. Society encourages males to sire as many children as possible, romanticizing the notion of a studly male so that the population imbalance can be rectified. Impregnating females is seen as a noble, necessary act that warrants high praise when completed. Interrupting a male that is having sex, no matter where they are, is considered a misdemeanor offense. Heavy fines or light jail time are the common punishment if found guilty of doing so. Men were able to have sex wherever they wanted, including in public spaces to allow for faster population growth. Males are not expected to maintain contact with the women they impregnated. They are instead encouraged to lead worry-free lives and jump from woman to woman, leaving behind new life. Because of the lack of males, they are not expected to take on parental responsibility. Human semen can be sold for thousands due to the extreme scarcity of males. The male population is around ten thousand globally, compared to a global female population of four billion. Seeing a male has become a very rare occurrence, and the government has encouraged women to be affectionate, friendly, maternal, and gentle when interacting with any male. They are also told to give praise and encouragement during the interaction.

The world was a far cry from its previous self. Billions of women enjoyed a utopian civilization, created out of the fragments of the old and revitalized on the backs of hardworking visionary women. The world was made anew, in woman’s image. They banded together to form one civilization, prioritizing the well being and safety of its inhabitants and the environment that surrounded them. Cities were bustling metropolises, with many more skyscrapers and monuments than before. Towns had paved sidewalks and roads, modern suburban houses, and access to infrastructure that connected them to their city counterparts. Also outside the metropolises, nature began to reclaim lost territory and numbers, and ecosystems began to gradually balance out.

This female society is filled with the bustle of billions of individuals, leading unique lives and working in every profession that could be named. The women had taken the time to ensure that they would break millennia of human tradition and finally have a highly functional, and equal, human civilization.

One thing that was not equal however, was the stark difference in gender population among humans. Gone were billions of men, lost to global wars, specialized male targeted diseases, high male mortality, and high suicide rates. While women were able to find the pieces to rebuild civilization among the ashes of old, they had a much harder time finding members of the opposite sex, who had now become some of the rarest people in the world. There was estimated to be around ten thousand males remaining, and an even fewer amount that were actually documented and known of. This made the sight of a man among the most uncommon experiences that could be had.
