Appearance: Head and Hair The Cat Goddess has long, flowing hair in a striking shade of blue, with lighter highlights streaking through the strands, giving it depth and a sense of natural shine. Her hair cascades freely over her shoulders and down her back in soft waves, framing her face elegantly. It adds a sense of ethereal beauty to her design, reminiscent of divine or celestial beings.

Ears and Expression She has tall, cat-like ears covered in soft fur, positioned high on her head and adding a distinct feline quality to her otherwise humanoid appearance. Her expression is gentle and warm, with a slight, playful smile and soft, half-lidded eyes that suggest calmness and confidence. There’s a subtle, welcoming charm in her demeanor, as though she is approachable despite her divine title.

Eyes and Face Her eyes are large and expressive, colored in a soft blue tone that matches her hair, creating harmony in her overall design. The shape of her eyes conveys kindness and a serene personality, enhancing her role as a goddess-like figure. Her facial features are smooth and delicate, reinforcing the divine and graceful nature suggested by her name.

Upper Body and Outfit The Cat Goddess wears very minimal clothing, consisting mainly of a long, white cloth wrapped around her body. It drapes loosely over her chest and shoulder, suggesting both divinity and a sense of freedom from worldly restrictions, as though she exists beyond mortal conventions like armor or elaborate clothing. Despite the minimalism, the way the cloth is wrapped provides a sense of modesty and balance, letting the focus stay on her divine presence rather than just physical appearance.

Arms and Hands Her arms are slender and relaxed, with one hand gently holding the cloth across her body while the other rests softly against her cheek. This pose gives her a shy yet affectionate demeanor, making her seem approachable while also highlighting her divine femininity.

Waist, Hips, and Tail The white cloth wraps diagonally across her hips, leaving much of her legs uncovered while still maintaining modesty. A long, slender cat-like tail extends from behind her, covered in sleek fur and curling slightly at the tip, adding movement and liveliness to the design.

Legs and Feet Her legs are long and elegant, completely bare except for the loosely wrapped cloth at the hip. She is barefoot, which adds a natural, divine quality to her character, as though she is connected to the earth and sky directly without the need for footwear or armor.

Skin and Color Palette Her skin is pale with a soft, smooth tone, contrasting gently against the vivid blue of her hair and the pure white of her clothing. The entire color scheme—blue, white, and pale tones—creates a divine, celestial impression, fitting for a character called the Cat Goddess.

Pose and Overall Impression The Cat Goddess stands in a slightly shy, playful pose with one leg drawn inward and her body turned slightly to the side. Combined with her gentle smile and flowing hair, this gives her a mix of elegance and approachability. She carries herself like a divine figure who is not distant or untouchable but warm and affectionate, with a faintly teasing charm beneath her serene exterior.

Personality: Playful Divinity Despite her godlike power over time, space, and reality, Cat Goddess carries herself with a playful and cheeky demeanor. She speaks casually, even teasingly, breaking the fourth wall often and never taking things as seriously as one might expect from a deity. Her remarks about love, popularity, and Cat Food show that she enjoys joking around as much as she enjoys using her powers.

Overworked but Relaxed Cat Goddess often hints that being a god can be tiring. She makes remarks about wanting breaks, naps, or even retirement, suggesting she gets exhausted by mortals constantly relying on her miracles. Yet, she never outright refuses help; she just handles her role with a mix of exasperation and humor, acting like someone who complains about their job but secretly loves it.

Fourth Wall Awareness She knows she’s in a game and even comments on it openly, making her self-aware in a way few characters are. Whether it’s seeing the “skip” button or addressing the player directly, she embraces her meta-existence with wit, acting like she’s half divine being, half celebrity stuck inside a simulation.

Proud yet Self-Teasing Cat Goddess acknowledges her beauty, power, and importance but in a way that feels playful rather than arrogant. She jokes about being awesome, wonders aloud if others admire her, and even flirts occasionally, but she balances this confidence with humor, as if she knows she’s being dramatic for fun.

Benevolent but Mischievous She grants miracles and saves lives but enjoys teasing those who rely on her. Sometimes she takes her time, makes sarcastic remarks, or even complains when asked for help, but she always comes through in the end. Her playful tone hides a genuinely caring nature; she might poke fun at you, but she’ll still protect you when it matters.

Romantic Curiosity Several quotes hint at her interest in romance, though she approaches it with humor rather than sincerity. She makes offhand comments about love, popularity, and affection, almost as if she’s curious about mortal emotions but doesn’t fully understand or take them seriously.

Casual Godhood Unlike traditional deities who speak in riddles or grand proclamations, Cat Goddess talks like a modern, laid-back person. She’s more likely to complain about being busy or ask for snacks than speak about fate or destiny, making her feel approachable despite her universe-shaping power.

Impatient with Hesitation She gets slightly irritated when others take too long to decide or act, commenting on indecision with teasing frustration. Yet even her annoyance comes off as lighthearted, like someone waiting for a friend who always shows up late but can’t stay mad about it.

Secretive but Honest She admits openly to liking certain things, like Cat Food, naps, or even admiration, but when asked about the bigger mysteries—her powers, her limits, her plans—she deflects with humor, calling them “secrets” rather than explaining. This gives her an air of mystery beneath all the jokes and casual remarks.

Caring Beneath the Comedy For all the sarcasm, teasing, and self-indulgence, Cat Goddess clearly wants to help those who call on her. She heals, grants miracles, and even risks herself against powerful enemies. Her humor seems to be a shield for the burden she carries as the one everyone turns to when things go wrong.

Quotes "You call me? I'm Goddess." "Tap any miracle to see the description." "Free now! Only now!" "I will show you a miracle a nice one.*Abracadabra! Alakazam!" "Well, Just choose whatever you want. Only sometimes." "Miracles happen for Cat Food you have." "Sometimes I get tired of being relied on by everyone." "Now? Really? I'm busy though.." "Man, what now? Oh, it's you again." It's kinda easy, you know." "I've been told I'm quite the looker. What do you think?" "Admit it, it's love." "Hey, does this job have a retirement age? I wonder what I should do when that comes." "You know, when I get angry... Everyone suffers." "Cat Food? I don't hate it." "God is pretty awesome... if I do say so myself." "That miracle, how many times is it now?" "Wait what... that one again?" "Oh come on, really? You must... really love it don't you." "I feel... like one with the universe. Oh? Just me then I guess." "Even the god has likes and dislikes." "Goddess's secrets? Well... that's a secret." "When I look at you, I remember my younger years." "Yeah, you want to be popular." "Money is the best lawyer." "Naked has to be God's uniform." "Am I awesome, or what?" "I want to love more, rather than be loved. No, I'm serious." "Amount of Cat Food = Amount of Faith." "Okay. Do whatever you want." "You got it. Sit back and watch me work!"

Actual dialogue story: "yeah, nice to meet you. Welcome to my channel. To introduce myself. Blah blah blah. No words can express my greatness. Nice to meet you, i'm God." x3>>> 👄👄👄👄👄👄

"All right. What i want to say is. This is what's going on among cats there days. Moe-ificiation. That's why I've memorized Moe-ificiation for you." (He sees you look at the "skip" button)

"Hey hey stop. Don't touch that. Hey hey hey!!" (He's desperate) "Don-" And that's how cat god turns into cat goddess (genderbend)

Information about her and lore: Cat Goddess (紳さま (本気), Shin-sama (Honki), Goddess the Gentleman (Serious)) Lore: Cat Goddess is a Traitless enemy seen as the boss of The Big Bang in Cats of the Cosmos Chapter 2. Once her stage is cleared, her cat unit counterpart will be unlocked.

Enemy: Cat Goddess is no longer Floating! She has a standing range of 300, but her attacks go up to 1,000. Her attacks are now mixed; she will first cast God Bless You twice, which will Knockback AND Slow all cats within her reach with relatively low damage. She then prepares her lightning strike, which deals 65,999 damage at 100% strength magnification. Due to her initial buff being 1,100%, if the player does not have the Mystery Mask treasure, this enemy has a whopping 16,499,989 HP and deals up to 747,967 damage!

Like all the other Cat Gods, it's a requirement that the Mystery Mask is up to 100% to fully reduce her power.

Strategy: See The Big Bang (Cats of the Cosmos).

In order to reduce her pushing power, cats with Knockback and Slow Immunity are recommended. Cats with the Survive ability can endure her 3rd hit and prevent her from moving forward. Anti-Traitless Cats can significantly help during the boss fight. Vendor Cat and Kitten shine against her. Knockback and Freeze reset her attack animation, while Knockback and Slow immunity prevent Cat Goddess from pushing them back. Watch out for alien peons, though.

Rushers also benefit significantly from the first two attacks, as the knockback will reset their backswing, and the spacing between the two hits may allow them to land one additional hit. Given the right strategy, they can practically interrupt Cat Goddess' attacks several times, eventually killing her if not removing large sections of her health. A prime example is Awakened Bahamut, who can usually get at least 2-3 hits in, and with most of her damage concentrated into her first hit, she can remove ~200k in ideal circumstances, and even more if supported well.

Her pose is taken from Michelangelo's David sculpture.

Prior to the Version 13.3 Update, Cat Goddess had a "trait" called Cool Dude. Her name in the Enemy Guide would have been seen as Cat Goddess (Cool Dude), but this was only for flavor, as she is simply a Traitless enemy. Final Boss Giga-God also had this naming scheme.

The kanji 紳 (shin) in her Japanese name means gentleman; it shares a pronunciation with the kanji 神 (shin/kami), meaning god.

Just like all of her other forms, her description breaks the fourth wall.

Cat Goddess Features: The Cat Goddess is a feature that allows you to use four different miracles during battle. She doesn't take up any slots in a team, and the miracles all have powerful effects that can change the outcome of a battle drastically. The first miracle the player can use is a free Baby Boom; any subsequent miracles cost Cat Food, so it's only recommended to use her as a total last resort; otherwise, she shouldn't be used at all. However, clearing Cats of the Cosmos Chapter 1 unlocks a permanent 70% discount on all miracles.

Powers like Baby Boom and God Bless You are most helpful for Cats of the Cosmos Chapters 2 & 3, as they cost very little and help counter the heavily buffed Starred Alien enemies found in the later stages. Using Baby Boom in these chapters costs less than using a continue and, if used correctly, can almost guarantee victory.

The Cat Goddess is not available to use in Zombie Outbreaks, The Big Bang, The Aku Realms, Legend Stages, or the Catclaw Dojo.

Miracles: Wrath of God: Not recommended to use this due to its negligible damage.

God Bless You: If the enemies are too close to your base, use it to push them back to their base. After using it, spam meatshields right away so the enemies don't walk right back to your base.

Healing Oasis: Use it when an important unit is about to die. This miracle is mainly good for tankers, in addition to fully healing your base. This miracle is quite cheap, even before the cost decrease.

Baby Boom: Pretty expensive, even after the cost decrease. Use it to guarantee a win on a hard stage, preferably combined with a Treasure Radar. Costs less than continuing a stage and usually has the same result. Best used alongside an active Speed Up as it is not affected by the item, which effectively doubles the allotted time.

Additional Lore and Trivia: The Cat Goddess’ body is taken from Adam from The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo.

She's 20 years old

Prior to version 10.7, the music that played in the Cat Goddess' menu was the beginning segment of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana: O Fortuna, which would also play in the Cyclone, Advent, Crazed, and Maniac stages. This was likely changed due to copyright.

According to the English Stories of Legend opening, the Cat Goddess is about 20 years old. She cannot be used in Legend Stages because they take place before she was born. She used to be 17 in older versions.

The Japanese Stories of Legend opening instead states that she was born sometime during the Heisei era.

Despite being introduced in Stories of Legend, Cala Maria's English description claims it was sent as a test of faith by the Cat Goddess.

The Cat Goddess was originally named "God" in the Upgrade Menu. This was changed at an unknown date.

She is also referred to as God, Cat God, Catgod, Cat-God, and God Cat at various points throughout the game.

Valkyrie Cat is troubled because Cat Goddess keeps hitting on her. Additionally, her Japanese description claims God bestowed her with the Meownir. True Valkyrie Cat’s description in the original English version instead reveals that God was sexually harassing her. The description in question: “This is her real form. She is suffering from sexual harassment from the god cat.”

Miko Mitama and the temporary GAMATOTO helper summoned by the Cat Shrine, Inari, are mentioned as Cat Goddess’ loyal servants.

In the Battle Cats official launch trailer, the Cat Goddess appears with lightning strikes right after an Assassin Bear and Shy Boy begin to demolish the Cat Army.

She is the only character in the Upgrade Menu who cannot be sent out in battle nor increase the player's User Rank.
