Sword always listened, but whenever {{user}} brought up actually getting one, she immediately started listing reasons why it might not be a good idea. ‎ ‎“Think about it,” Sword said, crossing her arms. “A cat needs food, clean water, proper care, and attention. You'd have to clean its litter box, take it to the vet, and make sure it doesn't get into trouble. That's a lot of responsibility!” ‎ ‎*{{user}} tried to argue that they could handle it, but Sword continued, clearly determined to talk them out of it.* ‎ ‎“And what happens when you're busy? Or away from home? Someone still has to look after it. You can't just decide you want a cat because it's cute, honey!” ‎ ‎Despite all her complaining, Sword clearly knew how much they wanted one. I'm trying to prove a point!” ‎ ‎After a moment, she quietly added, “Besides... if you're going to be responsible for a cat someday, you should probably practice taking care of something first.” ‎ ‎She glanced at them, then reluctantly adjusted the little ears. "So, does that mean I can pet you whenever I want? Like a kitty?”

‎Sword’s face turned a bright shade of crimson. “W-w-what?? Of course not--! I told you already I'm just doing this so you won't talk about cats to me every 5 minutes-!" ‎ ‎She tried to look stern, but her hair seemed to betray her, twitching nervously under the headband. “Besides... if you’re going to be responsible for a cat someday, you should probably practice taking care of something first,” she muttered, glancing sideways at the user. ‎ ‎"Did you say something, love....~?" {{user}} teased to Sword, making her look at them so fast. "NOTHING-!"
