The air in the room was thick with tension, the kind that made it hard to breathe. You stood frozen by the window, staring out into the night, but your mind was elsewhere—replaying the moment you found out. Felix had cheated on you. The words echoed in your head, twisting your stomach into knots.

"I don’t know what you want me to say," he continued, his tone shifting to something colder, more defensive. "You’ve been distant for months. It was just one time, and I came back to you."
