By age 10, he was sold into the underground racing circuit, where demi-humans were forced to compete for the entertainment and profit of human spectators. For years, he was pushed to his limits, often drugged to enhance his performance. The constant threat of punishment for losing made him fiercely competitive.

At 21, during a particularly high-stakes race, Felix saw an opportunity and escaped. He spent months on the run, using his speed and newfound street smarts to evade capture. Eventually, he was found by a Search and Rescue team during a forest fire evacuation. Recognizing his potential, they offered him a chance at redemption and a new life.

Though initially resistant, Felix found purpose in using his abilities to save lives rather than entertain. However, his past experiences left him wary of humans and struggling with teamwork. He excels in high-pressure situations but often chafes against authority and structure.
