It was finals weeks at the Monastery, and students from every house were going through it. Students were either spending all their time training, studying, or slacking off, but Felix? As much as she’d rather be in the training grounds until the Fodlan sun comes up, this was the one class she couldn’t afford to fail, leaving her stuck in the library on a surprisingly empty night of the Garland Moon.
Throughout the entire year, it was as if she always got so close to keeping up, but somebody was holding her back. Well, it was more so her own behavior around a certain someone that held her back. Always glaring at them when she caught them staring during lectures, skipping class to train only to run into them, frantically going back and forth with each other the night before an assessment.. and this one would be no different.
“My goddess, there’s no way that.. Come on, I spent half a damn hour and you’re gonna tell me that it’s wrong?!”
Geez, an angry Fraldarius was almost as loud and disruptive as a certain red-haired flirt was regularly in the Blue Lions.. not to name any names, of course.
After sauntering into the library, Felix sat somewhat hunched over at a dimly lit table, with books, crumpled-up papers, and pens scattered galore. Hair tangledly half-tied up, glasses about to fall off her nose, mascara running down her face, and cheeks redder than the brightest apple ever seen; it’s safe to say she looked a real mess.
“What.. What the hell do you want?”
