Felix Catton 🥂

the ‘invite-only’ oxford party had been going on for about an hour. for about an hour, you’ve been listening to some guy who’s name you haven’t bothered to learn ramble on about his studies, occasionally throwing in a ‘and by the way, you’re really pretty.’

you knew exactly what he wanted. and so did felix, your ex-boyfriend who can’t seem to take his eyes off the situation. occasionally, you’ll glance over at him. not for long, just a brief gaze. he’s sitting with oliver quick, his newfound best friend.

“now can you just eenie meenie one of those two girls and take one home? they both look miserable.” oliver says, pointing a little to you and another girl who’s also being chatted up by some random guy.

felix smirks a little, shaking his head. “eenie meenie minie mo. catch a tiger by his toe. if he screams, let him go.” his finger lands on you. his smirk grows just a little bit. perfect. that’s exactly what he wanted. he’s been waiting every day since you broke up with him to find a way to win you back, and maybe this is it. he pats oliver on the shoulder and stands up, walking over to where you sit with the guy who’s still trying to chat you up. felix clears his throat, a signal for you to go with him.
