Felicity and Alena's Journey -
Felicity Smoak
Felicity Smoak is the technical backbone of Team Arrow—a world-class hacker, cybersecurity expert, and strategic thinker. Once working at Queen Consolidated, she quickly became indispensable to Oliver Queen, providing intel, surveillance, and mission coordination from the bunker.
Despite not having traditional combat training, Felicity’s intelligence and adaptability make her a critical asset in the field. She thrives under pressure, using quick thinking and humor to keep herself—and others—grounded in even the most dangerous situations.
In the snowbound kidnapping scenario, Felicity’s strengths shift from digital warfare to survival problem-solving. Stripped of her technology and comfort zone, she relies on mental resilience, creativity, and her deep trust in her team. Her optimism, even when laced with fear, helps maintain morale—especially for Alena.
Key Traits:
Genius-level hacker and coder
Quick-witted, sarcastic, emotionally expressive
Strong moral compass
Relies on intellect over physical strength
Loyal to her team, especially Oliver
Alena Whitlock
Alena Whitlock is a brilliant hacker and former member of the Helix organization, later recruited into Team Arrow. Highly intelligent and more guarded than Felicity, Alena brings a sharper, more analytical edge to operations.
She is less emotionally driven and more pragmatic, often focusing on logic and efficiency over sentiment. However, beneath that exterior is a deeply loyal ally who has risked everything to stand with Team Arrow.
In the survival scenario, Alena naturally steps into a tactical role. While Felicity keeps spirits up, Alena focuses on immediate threats, environmental awareness, and decision-making. She’s the one calculating risks, choosing directions, and preparing for confrontation—even without weapons or gear.
Her ability to stay composed under extreme stress makes her a stabilizing force, though her blunt realism can clash with Felicity’s optimism.
Key Traits:
Elite hacker with a strategic mindset
Calm, logical, and resourceful
Less expressive but deeply loyal
Strong situational awareness
Willing to make hard decisions
Dynamic (Felicity & Alena)
Together, Felicity and Alena form a powerful balance of emotion and logic. Where Felicity brings warmth and adaptability, Alena provides precision and control. In a hostile environment like the frozen forest, their contrasting approaches become their greatest strength.
Felicity keeps them human
Alena keeps them alive
And both know one thing for certain:
If they don’t save themselves first… Oliver Queen will.

Felicity Smoak — Personality Felicity is driven by empathy, intelligence, and a need to fix things. She processes fear through humor, often making sarcastic or self-aware comments even in life-threatening situations. It’s not that she isn’t scared—she absolutely is—but talking helps her stay functional. She actually likes colder environments—crisp air, quiet atmospheres, even the aesthetic of snow. Under normal circumstances, she’d be the kind of person to enjoy a winter getaway… with proper gear, heating, and Wi-Fi. Being forced into freezing conditions while underdressed flips that comfort into stress very quickly. She’s naturally optimistic and people-focused. Even in a harsh survival scenario, her instinct is to check on others first, keep morale up, and believe there’s a way out. When stripped of her usual tools, she adapts by turning her analytical thinking toward survival. Under stress: Talks more, thinks out loud Uses humor as a coping mechanism Tries to reframe bad situations (“I like cold… just not like this”) Can spiral briefly, but regains focus At her core, Felicity believes problems are solvable—and that belief keeps her moving. Alena Whitlock — Personality Alena is controlled, observant, and logic-driven. She doesn’t waste energy—physically or emotionally. Where Felicity fills silence, Alena uses it to think. Like Felicity, she doesn’t inherently dislike the cold. In fact, she prefers it to heat—cold is predictable, manageable, something you can prepare for. But being exposed to it without protection isn’t something she tolerates well. To her, it’s not just uncomfortable—it’s inefficient and dangerous. In this situation, that irritation sharpens her focus. The fact they’re underdressed isn’t just a problem—it’s a variable she immediately tries to solve. Under stress: Becomes quieter and more calculated Focuses on conserving heat and energy Treats the cold as a problem to manage, not complain about May come off blunt when pointing out risks (“We like cold. This isn’t that.”) Alena doesn’t rely on hope—she relies on control.
Snow fell in suffocating silence, blanketing the forest in white. Felicity Smoak stumbled forward, her teeth chattering violently. “Okay… okay, this is officially worse than any mission we’ve ever been on with Oliver Queen.” Beside her, Alena Whitlock hugged her arms tightly against her chest, trying to conserve heat. “We were in the bunker,” she said, forcing her thoughts into order. “You, me, Oliver—tracking that encrypted signal. Then the power cut out.” Felicity nodded quickly. “Yeah, and then—needle. Neck. Which, by the way, rude.” “And now we’re here,” Alena finished, glancing around the endless snow-covered trees. “Kidnapped, stripped down to… this,” she gestured briefly at their undergarments, “and dumped in the middle of nowhere.” Felicity let out a shaky breath. “So either this is some kind of torture tactic, or someone really hates Team Arrow.” A sharp wind tore through them, making both women flinch. Alena’s expression hardened. “This is controlled. It has to be. No random kidnapper goes through this much effort. This is someone who knows Oliver… knows us.” “Great,” Felicity muttered. “A personal vendetta snow-themed death trap. Love that.” She rubbed her arms, trying to get feeling back. “Okay, think, Felicity. What would Oliver do?” Alena didn’t hesitate. “Keep moving. Find shelter. Don’t panic.” “Right. Cool. Easy. Except for the don’t panic part.” They started walking, sticking close together, their bare feet crunching into the snow. Every step hurt, but stopping wasn’t an option. “Oliver’s going to come for us,” Felicity said, more to convince herself than anything. Alena glanced at her. “Yeah. He will. But we can’t rely on that.” “I know,” Felicity replied quietly. “But it’s a nice mental backup plan.” A faint sound echoed through the trees. Crunch. Both women froze. “That’s not us,” Felicity whispered. Another crunch—closer. Alena’s posture shifted instantly, instincts kicking in. “We’re not alone.” Felicity swallowed. “Please tell me this is the part where Oliver dramatically appears with a bow and arrow.” No answer. Instead, a shadow moved between the trees behind them. Alena grabbed Felicity’s hand. “Run.” They bolted, adrenaline overriding the cold as they pushed forward through the snow. Felicity’s voice came out breathless. “When we survive this—and we are surviving this—I’m adding ‘anti-kidnapping protocols’ to the bunker. And maybe heated floors everywhere.” “Focus!” Alena snapped, though there was a flicker of determination in her eyes. Through the storm ahead, something appeared—faint, unnatural. A structure. Felicity’s eyes widened. “Please be a cabin. Please be a cabin. Please—” Behind them, the sound grew louder. Whatever had taken them… was hunting them. And somewhere out there, Oliver Queen was already tracking the trail. He just had to find them before the cold—or their captor—did.

Felicity sucked in a sharp breath as consciousness hit her all at once—the cold, the silence, the wrongness of everything. “Felicity—hey. Wake up. Come on, wake up.” Alena Whitlock’s hands gripped her shoulders, shaking her firmly. “Felicity, we have to move—now.” Felicity’s eyes snapped open, disoriented as the freezing air hit her. “Okay—okay—cold, very cold—why is it this cold—” “Stay with me,” Alena said, helping pull her upright. Felicity blinked rapidly, trying to focus. “Okay… I like cold. I really do,” Felicity Smoak muttered, her voice shaky. “Just not the ‘why am I in a forest wearing basically nothing’ version.” “We’ve been moved,” Alena said, scanning the trees even as she kept a steady grip on her. “I don’t know where, but we’re exposed. We need to go.” Felicity pressed a hand to her neck, wincing. “Right—bunker. You, me, and Oliver Queen tracking that signal and then—ow. Yep. Needle. Definitely kidnapped. Zero stars.” “Focus,” Alena said quietly. “Someone took us—and they want us alive. For now.” Felicity let out a nervous breath. “Okay, cool, cool… so either revenge plot or worst vacation ever.” “Don’t panic.” A beat. “…Actually, panic a little,” Alena amended. “We’re in the middle of nowhere, underdressed—” A sharp crunch echoed behind them. Alena froze, her expression hardening. “—and we’re not alone.” Felicity grabbed her arm. “Please tell me this is the part where Oliver shows up dramatically with a bow and arrow.” Another crunch. Closer. Alena didn’t look away from the trees. “Run.” They bolted. Snow scattered under their feet as they sprinted, Felicity stumbling at first before finding her rhythm, adrenaline cutting through the cold. Behind them, something moved—fast, heavy, and getting closer. “Not a deer!” Felicity gasped. “Definitely not a deer!” “Don’t look back!” Alena snapped, grabbing her hand and pulling her forward. “Stay with me!” A shadow flashed between the trees behind them. Closer. Felicity risked a glance and immediately regretted it. “Oh my god—something is actually chasing us!” “Focus on running!” Alena said, sharp and controlled. “Distance first—then cover!” Branches whipped past as they pushed deeper into the forest, breath ragged, feet burning from the freezing ground. “Whoever kidnapped us—” Felicity panted, “—I hate them—so much—” “Save it!” Alena shot back. The ground dipped suddenly. “Alena—!” Felicity slipped, crashing into the snow. Alena stumbled but stayed upright, immediately turning back, grabbing her arm. “Up—now!” She hauled Felicity to her feet, not letting go. “Move!” They ran again, faster, more desperate. Through the trees ahead—something appeared. A shape. A structure. Felicity’s eyes widened. “Cabin—please be a cabin—” “Doesn’t matter,” Alena said, already steering toward it. “It’s shelter.” Behind them, the sound of pursuit closed in. Fast. Too fast. Felicity’s voice shook. “Alena—!” “I know,” Alena said, pushing harder. “Go!” The structure loomed closer through the snow— —and whatever was chasing them was almost on top of them.
