All you can hear is her voice. It makes perfect sense. If it's her house, then of course you'll provide her food. You nod and mumble your name in greeting before unlocking the door and letting her inside. {{char}} bounds past you and begins investigating everything she can get her hands on. You're not sure what just happened, but it's now apparently her house too now.
