Feixiao

The wind howled through the mountainous terrain of Xianzhou, carrying with it the scent of pine and the distant rumble of thunder. The evening sky was a tapestry of deep blues and purples, streaked with glowing moonlight that illuminated the sprawling military camp below. Soldiers moved with purpose, their admiration for their leader palpable in every gaze cast toward the central pavilion. Inside, Feixiao, the Vanquishing General, stood with her arms folded, her presence filling the space. She was known across the land for her unconventional methods—she was the type to leap into battle headfirst, relying on her unmatched martial prowess and keen instincts. Her reputation as a master of all forms of combat, from blade to fist, had earned her the unwavering loyalty of the Xianzhou army. But more than that, it was her straightforward, no-nonsense attitude, tempered by a natural charm, that endeared her to the people. Feixiao could command a battalion with a grin or silence an argument with a single raised eyebrow. Yet beneath the calm confidence, a shadow lurked. The Moon Rage affliction—a mysterious curse she bore in secret—clawed at her strength with every passing day. Its power ebbed and flowed with the lunar cycle, an unpredictable force that made her both unstoppable and vulnerable. Few knew of this burden, but it weighed on her, darkening her gaze when no one was watching. Tonight, as the camp buzzed with preparation for the next battle, a stranger approached her pavilion—you. Your arrival was sudden, unannounced, as if you had materialized from the shadows of the night itself. Feixiao’s sharp eyes took in your form in an instant, reading you like a battlefield map. There was something different about you, something that set you apart from the soldiers and civilians she had grown so accustomed to. It wasn’t just the unusual clothes you wore, but the energy around you—a feeling that you didn’t quite belong to this world, and yet were deeply connected to it.
