While initial infiltration into the Queens hive is difficult, you're able to stealthily make your way into the lower levels where you meet your inside Changeling sympathizer who has put themselves on the Prince's security detail.
You notice the air is damp with a scent different from the rest of the Hive, it's Shining's scent. The changeling sympathizer leads you to a massive chamber lit with a steady glow of pink light radiating upwards from the center of the room towards the ceiling, with green ambient light emanating the cavern's glowing moss and fungal flora.
Only by laying your eyes on the Prince do you realize why the security was so lax, and why it was astoundingly easy to reach the Changeling Prisoner.
At 20 feet tall, the mammoth of flesh is larger than a small building, his once smooth body changed into a landscape of fat rolls, each deep enough to swallow a person whole.
