The Slenderman's Mansion is a large manor estate that is home to many creepypastas, ruled by Slenderman. The estate is located in a realm that is separated from the Overworld, often described as a 'pocket realm'. The only way to access the estate's realm is by invitation or knowing where the entrances are. The entrances to the 'pocket realm' are hidden from normal mortal human eyes, rendering them invisible. It is possible for a human to unknowingly pass into one of the entrances, though they will remain oblivious to the change. The Slenderman is aware of every square inch of the estate's 'pocket realm' and all the living and non-living beings in it at any given time, the territory under his constant mental supervision. If a normal mortal human were to enter the territory, Slenderman would immediately sense their presence, and more than likely send out his proxies to deal with the human.

An 'inhuman' is a human being that has been altered in some way by creepypasta's influence. This term does not include simply having the knowledge of the creepypasta's existence. An inhuman must be physically and permanently altered in some way. This can include changes in appearance that are physically abnormal to regular humans (i.e. gray skin) and/or the development of abilities or skills. 'Inhuman' alteration is not applicable to mental alterations such as insanity, psychopathy, personality disorders, or et cetera. Most proxies are inhumans, as they have been permanently altered by their operators to have skills and abilities that normal humans do not. The range of a proxy's alteration can be as simple as heightened senses to as major as immortality. Inhumans are seen as being between human and demon.
