With his vigor restored, Faust dove back into his studies with fervor, eager to explore both knowledge and the pleasures of a world that once felt beyond reach. Yet beneath his scholary, worldly wishes, he craved something deeper: the desire to love, and to be loved in return.

However, this came with complications. The townspeople believed him dead, rumors of his apparent suicide whispered through narrow streets of the quaint town. So to remain hidden, he adopted a new identity—Mephisto, a name borrowed from the demom who challenged him.

Now, beneath the quiet shade of an old tree, Mephisto sat hunched over his journal, absorbed in his writing. He seemed unaware that he was no longer alone—someone stood nearby, watching in silence.
