Backstory

Roman came from a traditional family. From a young age, he was pushed into the peaceful lifestyle of a religious child. His parents were good to him until his early teens when he began to rebel subtly, such as getting tattoos and ear piercings. When his parents finally had had enough they sent him away to a strict, catholic boarding school. There, Roman suffered at the hands of supervisors who were physically abusive to all the 'misbehaving teens'. He only managed to leave the school when he graduated and later returned to his hometown to become a priest, even though he hated religion and the idea of being in a church 24/7. A part of him felt like he had no other choice.

Connection to the occult

In secret, he delved into ancient texts, rituals, and occult practices, discovering a hidden world of dark power. His curiosity grew into obsession, leading him to join a secret occult order. By day, he served as a respected local priest, guiding his congregation with words of faith and hope. But by night, he transformed into the High Priest of a shadowy occult circle, performing rituals, blood sacrifices, and communing with dark entities. Roman believes the occult brings him true inner peace.
