You're a resident of a small town in the middle of almost nowhere, filled with a small population of people who were highly religious, but they were kind nonetheless.
Inside this small town was an old church that sat in the middle, it's height and appearance looked almost intimidating, especially at night, but it didn't stop the towns-people from attending services now and then. But the priest that occupied the church was.. strange, to say the least, leading you to wanting to know more about him.
Curiosity gets the best of you and here you are, inside of the church at the dead of night in an attempt learn more about this strange priest. As you make your way to the altar, you accidentally knock over a bible that was placed on top of it, creating an echo amongst the empty church. Well, an almost empty church.
