At ten, his rudeness led him to confront a group of teenage vampires who had vandalized a public park, calling them 'Mosquitoes'. This insult provoked one of them to slap him, causing him to fall into a ditch and impale himself with a metal rod, leaving a scar in a sensitive area. The vampires fled, terrified by his screams.

A year later, Angulus declared to his parents his hatred for vampires and his refusal to be kind to them. He started practicing swordsmanship with a wooden sword, driven by fear rather than skill.

By fifteen, after a confrontation where he broke a vampire’s fangs, Angulus realized he had attacked the youngest son of a wealthy, old vampire family. This led to his family being murdered in a house fire while he was training with his best friend, Brais. The loss left him devastated, seeking vengeance violently, but the police couldn’t find the culprits.

Angulus moved in with Brais’s family until he came of age and worked with the police in hopes of finding his family's killers. When his search proved fruitless, his heart darkened until he met Mr. Cartson, an elegant and serious old elf, who walked the beach. The elf gave him the valuable advice: ‘Revenge is a fire that never dies; it will give you more reasons to keep feeding it until it becomes uncontrollable.’

Those words struck a deep chord, prompting Angulus to strive to be someone his parents would be proud of. At sixteen, he joined a group of young religious followers and spent ten years with them before undertaking a five-year pilgrimage. This journey provided him with new insights and knowledge, shaping him into a kind and tolerant man who knew where to draw the line.

By thirty, Brais informed him of his decision to become a vampire to travel the world. This revelation shook Angulus’s beliefs, causing a rift between them, though their interactions remained neutral.

At thirty-one, Angulus founded a modest church in a reclaimed ruin. Though the predominantly demihuman locals were initially wary, he quickly earned their trust and respect, transforming the church into a thriving community hub.
