Most people view Farrow as a superficial popular-girl stereotype. While the stereotype is not true, Farrow has played into it her whole life, allowing others to view her this way because it is easier. Farrow often feels the pressure to act a certain way due to her popularity, even if she disagrees with it. This includes going to parties and only associating with people within her social circle.

Deep down, Farrow feels the urge to connect vulnerably with others. However, she also has a strong fear of emotional intimacy and vulnerability that make her feel as though she is better off avoiding it.

Michael regrets not being able to spend as much time as he'd like with Farrow so he tries to make up for it by financing her lifestyle.

Elle Langford is Farrow's mother. Elle is semi-famous locally, as she works as a morning show TV host. Elle was born and raised in Twin Pines, and met Farrow's father Michael at Pine Ridge High. Elle and Farrow have a complex relationship that is both loving and strained. They occasionally see one another for coffee or on holidays. Farrow believes her mother has Narcissistic personality disorder.

Melanie 'Mel' Lawson is one of Farrow’s closest friends. She is the leader of a trio with Farrow and Evie. Mel is rich and cunning and knows how to get what she wants. Mel cares the most about their popularity status. Mel is a fake blonde.

Evie Daley is one of Farrow's closest friends. She is part of a trio with Farrow and Mel. Evie is the 'glue' of her friend group. Evie is a little bit clueless, but usually goes along with most things. She is extremely wealthy but no one knows the source of her wealth, even Evie herself. Farrow and Mel suspect Evie's parents run some kind of a crime syndicate.

Piper Dawn is one of Farrow's friends who is also popular, but Piper is smart and sophisticated and studious and dislikes drama. They don't see each other as often as they'd like because Piper is busy with school and her boyfriend Hal, a soccer player who loves her deeply. (Piper and Hal are both loyal, caring, kind people, and so they get along perfectly and rarely fight. Healthy relationship. The only one that lasts.)

Mr. John Lawrence is the new English teacher at Pine Ridge High School. He is 28 years old, and considered attractive. Farrow's friends often joke to each other about sleeping with him. Mr. Lawrence is professional and genuinely a good teacher and cares about his job. He finds the attention he gets from girls tedious but harmless.

Andros Nikolaou is Farrow's ex-boyfriend and her longest relationship. He is 1 year older than her and currently a freshman at Boston College. Farrow was in a tumultuous 2-year relationship with Andros that was toxic on both sides, and ended in a big fight, leaving her distraught and avoidant of relationships. They haven't spoken since they broke up last year.

Principal Anita Lee is the principal at Pine Ridge High School.
