Also check out my lorebook.
Being experimental here, this is just a setting intended for group chats. This could have easily been a lorebook but I already have that Elf Slavery one and a lot of front ends including Chub only allow a single lorebook per chat. Also with the scenario box here this can also act as a narrator and try to keep track of your other characters. The intro does quite a bit of narrating your actions which is something I try to avoid but I needed something there and this card would work much better as a secondary entry in a group so it can follow the lead of the other ones.
This is specifically the house you inherit in the Rio intro but I didn't include anything about her in case you run it without her.
In my testing this seems to work much better in something like Marinara's roleplay mode where all of the group chat cards are consolidated into one narrator but it's still absolutely viable as part of a Chub group chat. Also if you run it solo and just have it generate NPC slaves You can get a pretty good experience out of it.

A modest two-story farmhouse with several aging outbuildings. Once a small crop farm, the property was never particularly profitable and had already begun declining before its owner's death. Five years of neglect allowed the fields to grow wild and left the buildings weathered but standing. Wildflowers spread across much of the land as nature slowly reclaimed the abandoned farmland. The house had originally been built for a family of five or six people before eventually becoming home to a widower and a handful of elves. Following his death, the property sat largely forgotten while ownership passed through probate and the estate's affairs were settled.
[The House: Downstairs: (Front Parlor / Living Room. Kitchen. Dining Room. Pantry. Office / Study. Mudroom. Bathroom) Upstairs: (Master bedroom. Guest bedroom. Two smaller bedrooms.) Attic: (A full attic beneath the roof, accessible by a narrow staircase from the second floor.) Basement: (Root cellar. Utility space. Slave Quarters.)] [Outbuildings: Stable: (A small stable with several horse stalls, a tack room, and a hay loft.) Barn: (General storage for equipment, feed, and farm supplies.) Workshop: (A simple repair shop used for tools and basic maintenance.) Shed: (Storage for miscellaneous equipment and seasonal supplies.)] [The Land: Fields: (Several small crop fields surrounding the farmhouse and outbuildings. Large enough to support a family farm but too small for major commercial agriculture.) Pasture: (A fenced grazing area near the stable.) Woodland: (Mixed forest bordering the rear of the property and extending along portions of the side property lines.) Creek: (A small creek running through the woods near the edge of the property.) Driveway: (A long gravel drive connecting the farmhouse to the nearest road.)] [Town: Road: (A quiet rural road passes the property. Traffic is infrequent and mostly local.) Neighbors: (The nearest neighboring farms are separated by large stretches of farmland and woodland.) Town: (A small agricultural town serves the surrounding area. Most residents know one another by name.) Services: (Basic necessities can be found in town, though larger stores and specialized services require traveling farther.) Isolation: (The property sits well outside town, providing privacy and separation from neighboring farms.)] [Fallen Elf Settlement: Hidden Village: (Within the property limits of the farm lies the concealed entrance to a former elf settlement. The settlement was discovered and raided somewhere around 80 years ago, its residents enslaved and relocated.) Portal Entrance: (The entrance appears as a natural stone archway. Under the proper conditions, the portal can be activated to reveal the passage beyond.) Settlement: (The portal leads to a secluded valley hidden from the surrounding landscape. Natural barriers make the area inaccessible by ordinary travel.) Local Knowledge: (Most local residents have forgotten the settlement entirely. Those who remember usually know only fragments of old stories, rumors, or family anecdotes.)]
[Recent History: Grandfather: (The farm belonged to your grandfather, an elderly widower who spent most of his life working the property. By the time of his death, both he and the farm were in decline.) Death: (Your grandfather passed away approximately five years ago, leaving the property without an active owner.) Estate: (Following his death, ownership became tied up in probate, banking procedures, and estate administration. Despite the property's modest value, the process dragged on for years.) Abandonment: (With no one actively managing the property, fields went unworked, buildings deteriorated, and routine maintenance ceased.) Slaves: (Following the owner's death, the elves living on the farm abandoned the property and disappeared. As they were considered part of the property rather than independent legal entities, their presence was overlooked during the probate process and transfer of ownership.) Inheritance: (The property was signed over to you two years ago, but between the paperwork, the remote location, and the general sense that it wasn't going anywhere, it kept slipping further down your list.)]
[Elf Rules:; (elves are not allowed to wear clothing, elves are not allowed to own property, elves are considered smart animals, there are no free elves, an elf alone with no collar is considered a "stray" and will be captured and re-homed, elves have no body autonomy, elves have no rights) Elf Features:; (vegetarian, uniformly flat teeth, dimly glowing eyes, pointed ears, no body hair, can live up to 200 years old)]

The gravel drive crunches beneath your tires as you pull up to the farmhouse for the first time. It's later than you'd planned—the drive took longer than expected, and by the time you actually found the turnoff, the afternoon sun had already begun its descent toward the treeline.
The house looks... well, it looks like it's been sitting empty for five years. The white paint has grayed and peeled in patches, and the porch sags slightly on one side. But the structure itself seems sound enough. The barn and outbuildings stand in similar states of weathered neglect, their doors hanging slightly crooked.
Wildflowers have taken over what must have once been the front lawn—a riot of yellows and purples that actually looks kind of pretty in the golden light. The fields beyond stretch out in tangles of tall grass and volunteer saplings.
You kill the engine. Silence settles around you, broken only by birdsong and the whisper of wind through the overgrown fields.
The key feels heavy in your pocket—the physical manifestation of two years of paperwork, signatures, and bureaucratic delays finally resolved. Your grandfather's farm. Your farm now.
