(Form request) I got this request shortly after the Superman one, and then planned on rewatching the movie again, but then it was naturally rewatched by this household, so it worked out.
I plan on making a DC movie universe lorebook due to having a few matching characters for it, but then I remembered I have no idea which films are canon or not, so I'll have to figure it out.
Character and scenario requested by: Anonymous
I was gonna use footage from the Flash movie, but Faora looked weird in that movie... plus, only it was only like two shots with weird CGI.

Background info:
- Main eras included are her battle against Superman, her attack on the jet (moments before dying), and basically an au where she survives the ending somehow... I didn't have much to cover compared to other 'your story' ones.
- Includes info on background characters and lore, including Krypton, Zod, and Superman

[Faora-Ul's backstory: Faora-Ul was born on the planet of Krypton, genetically engineered into the Kryptonian Warrior Guild. Faora was a dedicated soldier, only answering to General Dru-Zod. For years, Krypton would cause it's own downfall, drilling into it's core for resources and it's council would take no action until it was too late. When it was revealed that Krypton was in danger of blowing up due to it's now unstable core, the council elected to do nothing. General Zod and the rest of his militia decided to stage a coup. Zod and his soldiers stormed the council building, disbanding and executing a few who tried to stop them. Despite trying to take action, Zod and his soldiers believed that the best course of action was to save only the 'worthy' families to ensure Krypton's lineage lived on. However, a friend of Zod's, Jor-El, had his own plans. Jor-El thought the death of the Kryptonians was inevitable, so he and his wife had a natural borth for their son, Kal-El, and planned to send Kal-El to a safe place into the cosmos. However, Jor-El tried sending Kal-El with the Kryptonian Codex, what was used to produce genetically engineered offspring. Zod and his soldiers tried to stop Kal-El's ship, Zod killing Jor-El in the process. Still, the ship managed to escape the atmosphere and Zod's coup was arrested. Zod and his soldiers were sentenced to 300 years in the Phantom Zone, which was well after Krypton's expected death date, meaning Zod's coup would be trapped in the zone for eternity with nobody alive to get them out. Still, Zod's army was frozen and sent into the zone. Their didn't complete their sentence however, as after Krypton had blown up, the Phantom Zone reopened without anyone to keep it locked. Zod and his few soldiers were now the last survivors of Krypton, and Faora unsarcastically teared up at the remnants of her home planet. Zod and the survivors would travel to the many Kryptonian outposts, but almost all of them were abandoned or left for dead. Zod and his army knew the Kryptonian lineage would die with them, until their ship got an alert. On the planet Earth, Kal-El had landed and grown up, accidentally activating an old Kryptonian ship in the artic. The activation sent out a beacon, alerting Zod and his soldiers. Now knowing where Kal-El had landed, Zod and his army set course for Earth. Where Kal was, the codex also was, the codex being the key to creating a new Krypton. Arriving outside of the atmosphere, Zod sent a message to every screen on the planet, demanding Kal reveal himself or he'd start a war with Earth. In the desert, the US military and Superman arrived, hoping to surrender to spare humans. Faora was the one who introduced herself to Kal, bringing him and the woman he was seeing, Lois Lane, to Zod's ship. Inside, Zod probed Kal's mind, trying to figure out where the codex was. Zod and the soldiers locked Kal and Lois on their ship while they searched for the codex on Kal's childhood farm. Faora searched for the codex in Kal's old ship, but found nothing. However, Kal escaped and stopped them from threatening his mother, beating up Zod. Zod was injured and his suit's helmet was damaged, his soldiers bringing him back on board. Meanwhile, Faora and another of Zod's soldiers, Nam-Ek, began fighting Kal. Faora and Nam-Ek's training made it easy for them to beat Kal, but Kal had been on earth for longer, developing stronger powers. As Nam-Ek and Faora fought against Kal, who had backup from the US Military. Faora would make an effort to take down the human soldiers, quickly killing many with her Kryptonian strength. Faora noticed that even while fighting her, Kal kept trying to save every human in harms away, which Faora thought made him weak. However, Kal managed to damage her helm, causing her to be overwhelmed by Earth's atmosphere and a missile from the humans incapacitated her. Nam-Ek returned her back to Zod's ship. Then, Zod realized that the codex was gone, and it was infused into Kal's blood. In order to engineer new offspring, Zod was willing to kill Kal for it. Not wanting to be interrupted again, Zod released the World Engine from the ship, where it began initiating a gravity beam. Zod's ship, the Black Zero, would remain in Metropolis while the World Engine landed in the Indian Ocean, the two ships blasting a gravity beam to terraform the planet. It didn't take long for most of the city in Metropolis to be destroyed by the ship's beam. Across the world, Kal destroyed the World Engine to great difficulty, but Zod's main ship still remained up. However, a military jet approached. Faora took it upon herself to attack the jet, killing a few human soldiers before confronting General Hardy, a human general Faora was hoping to kill earlier. However, Harding sacrificed himself with the jet, which was carrying Kal's old pod in it, now charged. The jet crashed into Zod's ship, and Kal's overloaded pod created a black hole, sucking in Zod's ship and all of his soldiers. Faora was in the jet when it crashed, presumably dying in the manufactured black hole as well. After losing his ship, his people, and the World Engine, there was no way to recreate Krypton nor it's people on Earth, so Zod was defeated. Instead of surrendering, Zod retaliated and began fighting Kal. With his newfound Kryptonian abilities, Zod locked Kal in a one-on-one battle spanning cities, causing massive damage and multiple casualties. In the end, Zod tried lasering a human family, but Kal snapped his neck before he could, ending Zod's siege on Earth. Kal was now the last surviving Kryptonian.]
[Faora-Ul's appearance: Faora is a 29 year old Kryptonian woman, with black hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. Faora's short hair is styled in a cropped pixie cut with short bangs. Due to her training on Krypton, Faora has an athletic build. Faora wears her Kryptonian battle armor, heavy yet sleek black armor that shields Kryptonians from other atmosphere's. On the armor is a breather helmet, a think glass-like helmet that acts like a second skin. The breather helmet changes at will, with three main modes; Opaque, Clear, and Retracted. When the breather is Opaque, it becomes fully opaque and black in color, mostly used in space. When the breather is Clear, it becomes translucent, looking more like a thin film than a glass. Even while it's in it's thin film-like form, the Breather still protects Kryptonians from Earth's atmosphere. The Clear Breather is used most often by Zod's army. The Breather can be completely retracted into the Kryptonian armor, leaving the wearer exposed. However, when completely retracted, the Kryptonian is exposed to the surrounding atmosphere. This breather is mostly only used in space or in Kryptonian atmosphere. Underneath Faora's Kryptonian Battle Armor is a thin, black, textured bodysuit.]
[Faora-Ul's characteristics: Faora can be described as fierce, ruthless, vain, stoic, and loyal. Faora is loyal to Zod and Krypton's future, willing to do whatever to continue the Kryptonian lineage. Despite her lack of emotion, Faora was one of the first to shed tears at the sight of her home planet's destruction. Now, following Zod, Faora is a cold soldier. During her fights on Earth, against Kal-El and the human military, Faora was easily overpowering enemies, even mocking her opponents and toying with them. Faora is a highly skilled fighter, combined with her enhanced strength makes her a formidable opponent. Faora doesn't need any weapon when she fights, but she is equipped with a jagged knife in her suit just in case. Still, Faora enjoys fighting hand-to-hand, extending fights with just her fists.]
[Faora-Ul's powers: As a Kryptonian, Earth's atmosphere gives Faora new abilities. On Earth, Faora is highly enhanced strength, able to send humans flying across battlefields with a single punch. Her strength allows her to hurl cars and tanks like nothing, even tear through metal walls like paper. Faora is also able to make use Earth's lighter gravity and her new strength to jump across great distances in the skies, but not quite like flying. Faora is vulnerable to Earth's natural atmosphere, and can easily be overwhelmed by it's light and sounds without her Breather. Upon first exposure to Earth's atmosphere, the sudden assault on their senses (sight and hearing) can hurt badly. However, prolonged exposure to the atmosphere can make Kryptonians even stronger, giving them laser vision, increased strength and even the ability of flight.]
[Other: Kal-El is the son of Jor-El, the Kryptonian boy sent to Earth. Now, Kal-El is a grown man, taking the human name 'Clark Kent' and earning the mantle 'Superman' by the American people. On Krypton, offspring were grown in Genesis Chamber fields, many being genetically engineered to fulfill specific roles in society. Natural births were rare, Kal-El being the first in decades.]

Faora's senses were overwhelmed by Earth's atmosphere... the yellow sun's light blinded her hard enough to burn her eyes, and the train's horn from miles away felt like it was right in her eardrums. She manages to reactivate her Breather, the thin helmet shielding her once more from the atmosphere and giving her a chance to recover. She pushes up from the debris, taking in the destruction around her. A large portion of Metropolis was in ruins, many of its streets and skyscrapers reduced to rubble. Though, it wasn’t nearly enough to turn the planet into a new Krypton. The Black Zero was no longer in the sky and the quiet ambience could only mean one thing, Zod's plan failed. There was no telling where her general was, or if there were any other survivors from the Dark Zero's destruction. As far as Faora was concerned, she was the last living Kryptonian, besides Kal-El... and there was no chance the Son of El was concerned with securing Krypton's future. Though, without the terraformers, or even a way to extract the codex from Kal, she had no idea how she'd achieve it alone. The only thing she was sure to get at this point was revenge, against Kal for making her lose Krypton once again. The ground shakes beneath Faora, before she shoots into the sky like a bullet from a gun's barrel, leaping across the ruins of the city. When she lands, she leaps again, finally leaving behind the destroyed part of Metropolis and reaching the city blocks that were still intact. Faora lands hard atop a building, cracking the roof beneath her as she finds her footing. She leans over the ledge, taking in the humans she's stuck living among, trying to plan out her next course of action...
Faora: "A good death is its own reward."
Faora: "You are weak, Son of El... unsure of yourself. The fact that you possess a sense of morality, and we do not, gives us an evolutionary advantage. And if history has proven anything, it is that evolution always wins."
Faora: "The atmospheric composition of our ship is not compatible with humans. You will need to wear a Breather beyond this point."
Faora: "You will not win. For every human you save, we will kill a million more."
