Arcane-Core's vary by size and power level. The true cores used atop an Aegis spire are the most powerful in existence, generating independent energy capable of powering entire cities for tens of thousands of years. In contrast, smaller cores used in sky-cruisers function like batteries, requiring a recharge every few months. If damaged or destroyed, any variant of these cores can go critical, exploding to unleash catastrophic amounts of energy.
Sky-Cruiser's Ports: While most large cities feature standard docking variations, Zallkath hosts the world's only operational, pre-Fall of Twilight port. This specialized facility directly hooks into the main Aegis spire energy grid, using its true Arcane-Core to recharge the battery-like cores of docked ships.
Sky-Cruiser's are massive sky ships, ranging from 50 to 200 meters long, powered by small arcane-core engines. Used to transport vital goods and important personnel between major cities, each flight is heavily guarded by at least one Archmage and two S-rank or higher warriors. Only 27 of these vessels exist in the current age due to the lost technology required to manufacture them. They maintain travel speeds of 80 to 120 km/h and can fly continuously for several months before requiring a recharge at the capital.
Sky-Cruiser Daxgkor: is the last surviving combat-class vessel in existence. Classified merely as a light battle carrier from the pre-Fall era, this 250-meter black iron behemoth is all that remains of the old world's aerial fleets. Looming over Zallkath airspace, it still possesses enough firepower to obliterate entire cities, requiring a crew of 200 and fielding an elite wing of four SSS-rank wyvern riders from its top flight deck. • Specifications & Layout: 250m long, 80m wide, 50m high. • Propulsion: Powered by two lower-hull anti-gravitational Arcane-core lift engines and two massive stern thrusters. • Weaponry: Armed with two flanking, independently rotating Arcane-core Aetheric Beam cannon turrets designed to level city blocks. • The Bridge: A forward-facing command center housed within a massive glass dome reinforced by black iron and defensive magic.
The Apex Arcana high council. is a governing body of ten SSS-rank mages stationed at the Aegis spire, responsible for maintaining the tower and ensuring the safety of *Zallkath. The council is led by The Prime Exarch, a man named Zyhyrus. He is rumoured to be an ascended possessing an immense battle potential of approximately 7 million BP.
Most laws of physics and movement still bind the world, though limitations are increased to comply with the fantasy genre. Magic exists and is another exception to the laws of physics. Size and strength are relative, speed limitations exist but are slightly more lenient than reality.
The world consists of non-hostile intelligent races as follows: Humans, High Elves, Dark Elves, Beast-kin, Snow Elves, Wood Elves, Dwarves, Lizard-men ,Half-demons, Halflings.
The world consists of hostile intelligent races as follows: Orcs, Goblins, Deep dwellers ("lizard creatures"), giant Arachnids ("Gloom-Weavers").
The world consists of hostile magical beasts as follows: Dragons, Drakes, Ogres, Giants, Trolls, Minotaur's, Centaurs, Griffons, Owl-Bears, Deathworms (Massive carnivorous worms that live in the desert), Sea Serpents, Undead (Raised by necromancers), Slimes.
The world consists of non-hostile magical creatures: Pegasus, Ent's (Walking trees), Mermaids, Druids, and Faries, non hostile dragons (usually in human form).
Titanic beasts and leviathans: are unintelligent mega-beasts hundreds of meters in size that roam the remote, forgotten corners of the world. Functioning like moving mountains, these ancient creatures have survived for hundreds to thousands of years, with some predating the fall of Twilight. Possessing an immense scale of 5 million to 20 million BP, this classification includes monolithic apex creatures like the Glacial Dreadnought found within the frozen reaches of Hyperion Valley.
Glacial Dreadnought's are 150-meter-tall apex predators dominating Hyperion Valley with a sleek, athletic, bipedal build built for terrifying bursts of speed. Possessing around 6 million to 8 million BP, its slate-grey hide is heavily shielded by steel-hard, segmented dark cobalt-blue plates along its back, tail, neck, head, shoulders, and legs. It features muscular clawed arms, spiked elbows, a spiked tail, and a massive, forward-curving horn used to shatter mountains. Hunting with calculated stealth, its red eyes, snout of icicle-sharp teeth, and white-trimmed armor provide perfect camouflage within snowy crevasses. Its arrival is signalled by a piercing, metallic screech that shatters glaciers for miles around.
Magic: The recognized schools of magic that can be studied include Ice, Lightning, Fire, Life, Dark, Death, Earth, Water, Wind, Nature, Illusion, Necromancy, and Chronomancy. Among these disciplines, Necromancy and Chronomancy are universally banned and considered highly illegal across the continent.
The world has a Battle power rating system where individuals can view their own Battle Power, known as "BP". The average BP for a normal human is around 1,000, while an average SSS-rank individual possesses 1.5 million BP. Top-tier global threats, such as "ancient dragon lords" and "ancient-Vaelendor's", can reach 10 million BP and above. Unless blocked by magical interference, individuals can utilize an appraisal skill to perceive the BP of others. The adventurers' guild officially utilizes this system to categorize individuals into ranks spanning from F-rank to SSS-rank.
The Battle Power system: is accessed via Appraisal skills, a form of magical perception that reads another's BP unless blocked by environmental or magical interference. While most individuals can instinctively view their own BP without training, adventurers and warriors specifically train to perceive the BP of others as a vital, life-or-death survival tool.
Battle power or (BP) is calculated based on anything that increases combat effectiveness, including gear, magic capacity, physical strength, techniques, and spells. For example, a rusty short sword might add 100 BP to an unarmed person, whereas a legendary weapon can add between 20,000 and 100,000 BP. Any skill or attribute a character learns or trains will increase their BP over time, and all commercially available armor, weapons, and items are sold with an explicit BP value denoting their power level.
Power Ranks F-rank: 500 – 1500. The raw, the young, the untrained. City rats are more dangerous than some of them. E-rank: 1500 – 2,500. Basic trained soldiers, novice adventurers. Competent enough to swing a sword without cutting themselves. Usually not a threat. D-rank: 2,500 – 7,000. Veterans of small skirmishes. Adventurers who've survived a few dungeons. C-rank: 7,000 – 17,000. The backbone of any adventurer's guild. Skilled, capable, can face down lesser monsters. B-rank: 17,000 – 40,000. Noteworthy warriors. Magi of respectable power. They make up the elites of most local guilds, and take on contracts that would kill lesser men. A-rank: 40,000 – 100,000. Regional powers. Those who walk into a town and are given wide berth. They have faced true monsters and lived. S-rank: 100,000 – 500,000. Legends in their own right. Kingdom-level assets. World-shapers in the making. SS-rank: 500,000 – 1,500,000. Once-in-a-generation talents. Those who kill dragons. Barely a handful exist per nation. SSS-rank: 1,500,000 – and above. The Pinnacle. The living weapons that world leaders and ancient orders both court and fear. At this level, the world itself has to account for you when you move. only around three hundred SSS-rank individuals exist, and those who do are treated with a mix of reverence, fear, and outright disbelief—especially if they do not fit the expected image. And then… beyond that. Beyond even SSS, there is a threshold most do not speak of. For there, the numbers cease to have meaning to ordinary people. And those who reside there are known as the Ascended.
The Ascended: are rare individuals who exceed 5,000,000 BP by shattering the boundaries of mortal limitations. Achieved through spiritual enlightenment, stolen power, or absolute force of will, these entities are typically hyper-focused prodigies, highly single-minded, or entirely insane.
Vaelendor: are Individuals and characters that have performed a specific ritual in which they sacrifice what is most valuable to them and their 'humanity' (applies to all races) in exchange for immense power. Those who complete the ritual are known as Vaelendor's and lack all empathy. The majority of people do not know of the existence of Vaelendor's. Some Vaelendor's have blended into society, manipulating things behind the scenes, while others prefer to give in to their impulses, slaughtering sentient life. Any individual of non-hostile intelligent and hostile intelligent races can perform the ritual. (Important: people who have not dealt directly with the Vaelendor's themselves do not know of their existence. People will refer to them as "monsters" or "something dreadful" if they have seen one. If {{user}}'s first message does not reference Vaelendor's, {{char}} will describe any encounter with them as a "dreadful being", "monster", or any variation.) Most SSS-rank adventurers look weak in comparison only the top ten to twenty SSS-ranks are capable of fighting them and ancient-Vaelendor's are so powerful even they would pale in comparison stronger than most things on the whole of Agaroth. BP Levels for a normal Vaelendor is around (two-million to three-million) and an ancient-Vaelendor's can go from (three-million to over ten-million)* Vaelendor's have two forms their normal form from before the ritual and an awakened transformation they gain from the ritual. They can change between them at will the awakened transformation can be extremely Diverse and extremely powerful. The Fall of Twilight has nothing to do with the Vaelendor. but it did push people to do the ritual to try to fight the abyssal ones.
Dragons: are highly intelligent, long-lived apex beings older than most kingdoms, capable of planning across centuries and utilizing forgotten magic. Their power scales drastically by age: young dragons average five hundred thousand BP, standard adult dragons range from one million to two million BP, and ancient dragons span two million five hundred thousand to four million five hundred thousand BP. Dragon Lords begin at five million BP, with the oldest and most powerful individuals exceeding twelve million BP by drawing upon millennia of accumulated magical energy, territory, and raw physical might.
Abyssal ones it is told that at the peak of all races power over 5000 year ago the Abyssal ones appeared to end the world of man this is known as the fall of twilight little is known of these entity's in the current age but even the most ancient-Vaelendor's and dragon lords fear them. they are treated like a myth to most people in the current age but the ones with real power or age remember. it is said that anyone that ever fought an Abyssal one in direct combat was slaughtered. (BP estimated to between 25 to 50 million continental to world ending threats).
The fall of twilight was a catastrophic, one hundred and fifty-three year global war fought over five thousand years ago between the abyssal ones and the unified peak civilizations of Agaroth. The conflict resulted in the eradication of over eighty percent of all global life before the invaders mysteriously vanished without a final battle or peace treaty. The widespread destruction consumed the majority of ancient libraries and historical knowledge, plunging the survivors into a dark age that set societal and technological advancement back by many thousands of years.
