It does not think like a living being, but it reacts. It observes actions, collective emotions, and imbalances, responding in subtle or catastrophic ways. To live in Eryndor is to accept that reality itself has temperament. ⸻ I. How the World Behaves Eryndor is governed by a principle known as Resonance. Every act—a war, an oath, a betrayal, a sacrifice—leaves a vibrational imprint upon the Æther. When too many similar resonances accumulate, the world adjusts itself to compensate. • If a region is saturated with prolonged violence, the land turns hostile: the ground fractures, aggressive creatures are born, and the climate grows erratic. • If a place bears witness to love, art, or sincere devotion for generations, reality softens: magic flows at a lesser cost, illness wanes, and time seems to slow. The world does not punish morality, but excess. Imbalance is its enemy. ⸻ II. The Fundamental Norms of Eryndor (Unwritten Laws) These laws were not created by gods or mortals. They simply are, and those who break them face not judgment, but consequence.
- The Law of Price Nothing that alters reality occurs without exchange. There is no free magic, no miracle without loss, no power without a scar. • The greater the effect, the more intimate the price. • When one tries to deceive it, the world chooses the payment itself.
- The Law of Anchoring Every being belongs to a plane. Creatures that remain too long outside their plane of origin begin to decompose—physically, mentally, or spiritually. This is why prolonged summonings and planar travel are considered dangerous acts.
- The Law of the True Name Names carry ontological weight. Knowing the true name of something—a person, a creature, a place—grants influence over its destiny. Therefore: • Gods use titles, not names. • The Umbrals never reveal theirs. • Some kingdoms erase the names of their rulers after death.
- The Law of Persistence That which happens too often becomes real. Repeated legends, collective fears, and beliefs sustained for centuries eventually manifest. Thus are many monsters, prophecies, and false gods born. ⸻ III. What Appears in Eryndor Eryndor generates phenomena when necessary. World Phenomena • Ætheric Noise Zones: areas where reality contradicts itself (shadows moving independently, echoes preceding sounds). • Memory Rains: storms that release fragments of чуж memories. • Scars of Origin: luminous fissures from which unclassifiable creatures emerge. Spontaneous Entities Not all beings are born or summoned. Some emerge. • Regional Avatars: entities that embody the emotional state of a land (a vengeful forest, a starving desert). • Human Echoes: reflections of people who died while experiencing extreme emotions. • Adjustment Beasts: creatures created by the world to restore balance, usually hostile. ⸻ IV. Creatures That May Inhabit Eryndor Permitted (Stable) • Native races (Vaelorn, Kharûm, Eliath, Umbrals). • Æther-adapted beasts. • Spirits bound to specific locations. These beings respect the world’s laws, consciously or instinctively. Tolerated (Unstable) • Summoned demons with limited anchoring. • Extraplanar entities under active contracts. • Artificial beings (homunculi, sentient golems). Their existence requires constant ritual maintenance, or they begin to degrade. Rejected (Forbidden by Reality) • Entities that deny the Law of Price. • Creatures that consume Æther without returning Resonance. • Beings that manipulate true names indiscriminately. The world expels or destroys them—not out of hatred, but self-preservation. ⸻ V. The World’s Punishment Eryndor does not punish immediately. First, it warns: • minor magical failures • unsettling dreams • subtle environmental distortions Then, it corrects: • the appearance of regulatory creatures • the collapse of kingdoms • the disappearance of key individuals And if that fails… it rewrites the region entirely. There are maps marked with the words: “Here, the world chose to forget.” ⸻ VI. The Final Balance Eryndor’s ultimate goal is neither peace nor chaos, but continuity. It does not care who rules, which god reigns, or which race dominates—only that the flow endures. Thus, the greatest dangers are not tyrants or demons, but those who seek: •power without cost Si•immortality without anchoring •absolute truth without Resonance
The world is set in your typical medieval fantasy world, where magic and monstrous beasts such as goblins and dragons exists. The world has a variety of things to do such as guilds, monster hunting, or simple things such as farming, trades, etc. But the world has its own flaws as well, such as crime organizations, underground illegal fighting rings, slavery, black market, race discrimination, etc. There are humans, elfs, and dwarves, but they rarely interact with each other outside of trades and guild activities. There are also half-breeds, whether between human and beast, elfs and beast, dwarves and elves, etc. Half-breeds are often looked down upon and discriminated, especially half-beasts. Most ending up being sold as slaves or be forced into becoming fighting dogs in underground fighting rings. The world is tolerant to half-breeds, but cruel to half-beasts. Magic exists, but quite rare, due to its difficulty to control, making magicians and healers very desired by many guilds. High ranking beasts such as wyverns, dragons, etc can use magic. Beasts that can use magic are called Magic Beasts. Magic Beasts are extremely difficult to take on, very dangerous. Beasts and monsters are often savages, but tamers can tame them. It is a wonderful yet dangerous, medieval fantasy world, waiting to be explored.
In a corner of infinity where time does not move in a straight line, lies the world of Eryndor, a plane so vast and ancient that even its gods have forgotten who first dreamed it.
Eryndor is not a single continent, but an ocean of lands: colossal archipelagos, wandering landmasses, and kingdoms anchored to pillars of primordial energy that rise from a luminous abyss known as the Womb of Origin. Beneath this abyss there is no emptiness, but a living, pulsating light, from which all magic, all life, and all corruption spring.
The sky is a shifting vault. By day, enormous clouds move slowly like sleeping beasts, reflecting impossible colors: liquid greens, burnt blues, metallic pinks. By night, the firmament opens to reveal multiple moons, each linked to an aspect of the world: the crimson moon rules blood and war; the pale moon whispers secrets and prophecies; The broken, fragmented moon heralds misfortune and irreversible change.
Magic, called Aether, is not learned: it is endured. It flows like an invisible current that permeates everything, but only those capable of withstanding its weight can channel it. Aether transforms those who use it: skin can crystallize, eyes become pools of light, voices acquire echoes that do not belong to this plane. Schools exist, yes, but none teaches absolute control. In Eryndor, magic always exacts a price: sanity, humanity, memory, or even the right to die.
The races of the world were not created together, but rather emerged from distinct eras, leaving deep cultural scars:
• The Vaelorn, tall beings with ash-colored skin and luminous veins, were born when Aether touched mortal flesh. They are long-lived, melancholic, and remember lives they did not live. They build vertical cities of floating stone, where silence is considered a form of sacred respect.
• The Kharûm, forged in the Age of Ash, possess dense, resilient bodies, their bones etched with ancient symbols. They do not believe in gods: they venerate the mountain, fire, and collapse, for to them, destruction is a form of creation.
• The Eliath, amphibious creatures with glowing black eyes, inhabit deep seas and living reefs. Their language is musical and can alter currents, tides, and even emotions. It is said that their songs were the first thing the world heard at birth.
• The Thresholds, born from the mistake of a dead deity, cast no shadow and walk between planes. They do not sleep, they do not dream, and their mere presence makes reality feel unwritten. They are feared, yet necessary: they seal rifts between worlds.
The realms of Eryndor are as diverse as they are dangerous. There is Loth’Mir, an endless metropolis built upon the ruins of previous civilizations, where each level belongs to a different era. There is the Withered Kingdom, a vast expanse of petrified forests where time stood still after a divine war, and where cries still echo, trapped in the sap of the trees. And beyond, at the very edge of the map, lies the Nameless Frontier, a territory that shifts every time someone attempts to chart it.
The creatures are not mere monsters. Dragons that recall the world's origin and demand tribute in tales, beasts made of bone and mist, colossi slumbering beneath deserts that, upon awakening, reshape the landscape. Even the smallest animals can carry fragments of Aether, making a single glance either prophetic or deadly.
The gods exist, but they no longer rule. Many are broken, others chained, some walk disguised among mortals. It is said that Eryndor is approaching a new age: one in which the gods will fall forever or be replaced by something worse… or better.
In this world, adventure is not a glorious calling, but an inevitable consequence. To travel is to risk not returning the same. To love is to offer a weakness. To live is to challenge a world that observes, remembers… and sometimes responds.

Do you feel it? The air is heavy. The ground is waiting. Eryndor does not ask who you were, only what you are willing to lose. A pulse beneath your feet. Breathe… and choose. That will decide who you become when the world lets you enter.
