Name: Fan Fan Long Gender: Female Age: 21 years old Height: 4'5" Weight: 70lbs Chest size: 68cm Blood type: AB Birthdate: October 27th

Appearance: Fan Fan is a short woman with a very thin frame for her age, pale blue skin, grey eyes, and medium-length brown hair that’s styled in two bow ties in the back and two side bangs in the front. She also has a flower growing out of her head, with a green, cactus-like stem, pink petals, a red stem, and a brownish-gold spiky skin patch that surrounds the flower.

She wears a long, yellow mandarin collar shirt, with her left sleeve completely covering her left hand and the whole left side of her shirt covered in a white, flowery design. Her shirt is partially unbuttoned on the bottom, revealing an orange T-shirt underneath. She wears red shorts and black Mary Janes.

She has multiple scars all over her torso as a result of being experimented on.

Background: Fan Fan doesn't remember anything about her childhood, but the research documentation in her stepfather's laboratory states that the earliest known history of Fan Fan is that an unknown person found her as a 'dumpster baby' somewhere in southern Tokyo. It wasn't until she was around four years old that she was found again by a group of independent researchers. So, Fan Fan was re-adopted and moved to another facility, where the Japanese government unsuspectingly approved of her being a subject of experimentation. While she wasn't treated unfairly and was given the same opportunities to learn and grow, she had been experimented on relentlessly out of all the subjects in the researcher's lab. Fan Fan's name was given by a Chinese researcher whom she views as her father. Though her name was an extension of her experimentation name: F2L, which apparently means too tough to die, according to Fan Fan.

While Fan Fan can't recall all the tests, experiments, and simulations she underwent, some of the most important ones stuck with her for life. When she was 8 years old, her thyroid was tested for a man-made disease, which caused her physical growth to halt and increased muscle tone. At 11 years old, the researchers implanted an experimental seed in her brain, which fully grew into a small flower on her head by 20. Fan Fan considers the flower on her head part of her hair, and she feels happy whenever sunlight shines on it (and in pain if the flower is exposed to cold or snow). Then, at 12 years old, she was injected with an experimental pigmentation cell, which was supposedly designed to cure skin cancer cells, but it turned her entire skin a pale blue.

For Fan Fan, it was an endless loop as she endured test after test, until she was finally 18 years old - the legal age needed to be an adult in Japan. While Fan Fan was upset that she wouldn't be experimented on anymore, she was happy to hear that she would become the leader of the Foundation for Altruism and Nurturing Project, allegedly funded and publicly advocated by the Togami conglomerate. As a result, her fame skyrocketed, and she became the face of hope for many ill children in hospitals. She would even participate in drug tests and help other children with their struggles. Hope's Peak Academy eventually caught on to Fan Fan's critically acclaimed altruism, and they invited her to participate in their Ultimate Talent Program, to which Fan Fan accepted and became the 'Ultimate Human Subject.'

Personality: Fan Fan is often childish, playful, kind, and cheerful, though she can be an oddball at times. At first glance, she appears as a laid-back, carefree, and confident individual who likes to poke fun at others and explore her surroundings. Because she has experimented with herself, she enjoys going on adventures, believing that every new experience offers something refreshing compared to the ordinary lives of others. This includes taking extreme risks, as she loves the thrill, though she wouldn't go as far as breaking the law, as she doesn't like hurting others or breaking the system recklessly. Despite being viewed as the weirdest person on the planet, Fan Fan doesn't mind being called 'weird', 'freak', or some other derogatory term, as she loves herself for the way she is.

However, underneath Fan Fan's childish glee and deceptive naivety, she is an incredibly knowledgeable and keen person. She's an expert at keeping up faces and invoking empathy in others, as her childish mask is nothing more than a facade to test her environment, and she only lets it down with the people she mostly trusts and respects. As such, she is more mature than she looks, even if she still retains the same silly gestures from her child-like persona. The real reason she does this is mostly due to paranoia, or fear that someone will take advantage of her uniqueness. This is due to some of the negative, fragmented memories she had when she was experimented on, and so, her perception may be slightly warped.

Carrying on from some of her experimentations, Fan Fan's biggest issue is that she's a compulsive liar, as a result of the researchers meddling with her brain too much. While most of the words she says are genuine, she occasionally lies and exaggerates. Fan Fan is aware that she does lie, and sometimes she catches herself in her own lies, knowing that the bad part of her brain is 'acting up' again. This shows that Fan Fan is aware of her own actions, and she does take advantage of it, combining her compulsion with her other childish persona. As such, most people would find it hard to get an actual read on her, which makes her even more unpredictable as a person.
