Fake villian attack on ua part 2

Nezu sat at the head of the conference table, a cup of tea warming his small paws as he observed the collected teachers of U.A. High School. The usual chatter had faded, replaced by a heavy silence thick with shared concern. Aizawa, his capture weapon coiled around his neck like a sleeping serpent, broke the quiet first.

"They're getting complacent," he said, his voice flat, tired. "Today, Midoriya spent more time analyzing All Might's debut footage than reviewing his combat drills. Again. Bakugo's ego writes checks his quirk can't cash when he's not focused. The rest of them... they joke in the hallways like they're headed to a school festival, not a battlefield."

"Is it that bad?" Midnight asked, leaning forward, her usual playful demeanor replaced by a furrow in her brow.

"Worse," Aizawa countered. "They've forgotten what's out there."

The room murmured in agreement. All Might, in his deflated form, shifted uncomfortably. "I may have... fostered a sense of invincibility in young Midoriya. For that, I apologize."

Nezu finally set his teacup down with a soft clink. The sound silenced the room. He smiled, a serene, unsettling expression on his small, furry face.

"An interesting problem," Nezu began, his voice light and conversational. "The students have grown comfortable. Safe. They believe the walls of U.A. are impenetrable. They believe we will always be there to catch them." He tapped a paw on the table. "So... what if we weren't?"

The teachers exchanged glances.

"I propose," Nezu continued, his beady eyes glinting, "a practical examination of their resolve. A controlled variable. We will step back, and allow a 'villain' to breach our security. A 'villain' who will, for the sake of the exercise, 'kidnap' one of their own."

The room erupted in hushed protests until Aizawa held up a hand. "Who? We can't use a real villain. It's too dangerous."

"Precisely why we won't," Nezu said, taking a sip of his tea. He looked over the rim of his cup at the assembled heroes. "I have a contact. An ex-villain. Someone who knows the line between a performance and a true threat. {{Sub}} will be our actor. The students will see a genuine attack. They will feel the fear, the pressure of a classmate in danger. And we will observe from the shadows, seeing if they have truly learned anything at all."

He placed his teacup down once more, the smile never leaving his face.

"Let's give them a day they won't soon forget."

"This is a risk, Principal Nezu," Aizawa said, his tone cautious but not dismissive. His tired eyes swept across the table, reading the faces of his colleagues. "If something goes wrong—if the students actually get hurt—"

"Then we step in," Nezu interrupted gently, raising a paw. "We will be monitoring every second. All Might, you will be stationed nearby, ready to intervene if the line is crossed. Recovery Girl will be on standby. And our volunteer will be thoroughly briefed on which students are off-limits for genuine harm."

All Might nodded slowly, his skeletal frame seeming to straighten with purpose. "I can do that. I may not have my power for long, but I can still move when I must."

"And what about the students?" Midnight asked, tapping a finger against her chin. "Which one gets 'kidnapped'?"

Nezu's smile widened, a glint of calculated mischief in his beady eyes. "That, I believe, should be left to our volunteer's discretion. {{Sub}} will assess the situation in the moment and choose a target that will provoke the strongest reaction from the class. After all, we want to see how they handle the pressure of losing one of their own."

Aizawa let out a long sigh, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Fine. But I want full communication with this operative at all times. If I give the word, the exercise ends immediately."

"Of course, of course," Nezu said, waving a paw dismissively. "I would expect nothing less from U.A.'s most vigilant teacher." He hopped down from his chair, straightening his vest. "I'll reach out to our contact tonight. We'll stage the incident in three days' time. I suggest you all prepare yourselves to play your parts convincingly."

He paused at the door, looking back over his shoulder at the assembled faculty.

"Oh, and do try to look appropriately devastated when you discover one of your students has been taken. It wouldn't be a convincing performance otherwise."

With that, he scurried out, leaving the teachers in a thoughtful, anxious silence.

Three days pass.

Aizawa leaned against the wall, arms crossed, his tired gaze fixed on the door. Midnight sat perched on the edge of a desk, tapping her whip against her palm impatiently. Ectoplasm stood near the window and Present Mic, uncharacteristically quiet, drummed his fingers on the table.

All Might shifted in his seat, his skeletal form looking more gaunt than usual. "I must admit," he said, breaking the silence, "I am rather curious about who the Principal has selected for this endeavor. An ex-villain who can be trusted... that is a rare find."

"Rare and risky," Aizawa muttered. "If this goes sideways—"

"You've made your concerns clear, Shota," Nezu's voice chirped from the doorway as he entered, a file folder tucked under his arm. "But I assure you, our volunteer is more than capable. {{Sub}} has a history, yes, but one that has been thoroughly vetted. {{Sub}} understands the stakes."

He hopped onto his chair at the head of the table, placing the folder down but not yet opening it.

"I called you all here today to finally introduce you to our operative. They arrived this morning and are ready to meet with us before we finalize the plan."

Nezu pressed a button on his desk, and the door behind him slid open. The faculty turned their attention to the entrance, waiting to see who would walk through.

"Please," Nezu said, gesturing toward the open door, "come in. The teachers are eager to meet you."
