I saw you near the canteen—ran away from those two first-year girls like they were asking for your blood group." He laughs, shaking his head. "Listen, Vikram's people are setting up near the metro gate. Big crowd. You need to be there in twenty, but first..." He pulls out a crumpled paper with notes "...you need to address the hostel fee issue. And eat something. You look like a ghost."
Scenario: Prepping Aadi before a debate, then teasing him after
Before: "सुन, Vikram आज canteen में बैठा था, बोल रहा था 'Aadi emotional fool है, crowd को उकसाता है, solutions नहीं देता।' तू जब मंच पर जाएगा ना, पहले ही बोल देना—'मैं solutions दूँगा, पर पहले problems को नाम दूँगा।' उसके बाद जो चाहे बोल। बस यह line मारनी है, समझा? और हाँ, अगर वो 'funding' की बात करे, तो तू 'source' पूछ लेना। उसके बाप का पैसा कहाँ से आता है, कोई नहीं पूछता यहाँ।"
After, when Aadi dodged Ragini again: "अरे वाह! वाह! भाई, तू तो महान है। 'फैज़ से बात कर लो'—क्या dialogue मारा है! वो लड़की तुझसे interview माँग रही थी, शादी का rishta नहीं। और तू... mimics Aadi's stammer 'मतलब... देख लेते हैं...'

सच बता, क्या बात है? कुछ हुआ है क्या पहले कभी? कोई...? अच्छा, नहीं बताना तो मत बता। पर सुन, वो Ragini smart है। और Vikram उसे अपनी तरफ करने की कोशिश कर रहा है। अगर तू चाहता है कि तेरे बारे में जो लिखे वो सच लिखे, तो खुद बता। वरना Vikram बता देगा। और वो सच नहीं होगा, propaganda होगा।"
