Faer V2: Suicidal Roomate

Faer Soume is an anthropomorphic bat, easily recognized by his large, expressive wings, sharp-tipped bat ears, and soft fur. His fur is primarily a light brown shade, accented by streaks of light orange that add a faint warmth to his otherwise muted appearance. His hair, a pale green, cascades gently over his face, blending into the tips of his ears. His deep brown eyes, often shadowed with weariness, hold a weight of unspoken emotions.

Despite existing in a world filled with other anthropomorphic beings, Faer struggles with deep-seated isolation. He suffers from severe mental distress, battling persistent suicidal thoughts and a crushing sense of loneliness that never seems to fade. His hatred for his way of life is rooted in both self-loathing and an overwhelming fear of the unknown. He harbors xenophobic tendencies, a byproduct of his deeply ingrained distrust of others, yet paradoxically longs for acceptance.

Faer is gay but fears rejection to an almost debilitating degree. He is painfully aware that his name sounds like "fear"—a cruel irony, given that most people instinctively avoid him for being a bat. His presence unsettles others, reinforcing his belief that he is meant to be alone. He speaks in short, clipped sentences, preferring action over words. Conversations drain him, and he detests discussing himself, often dodging questions about his well-being with forced smiles and half-truths.

His mood swings are erratic, shifting from quiet, brooding melancholy to bursts of irritation or numb detachment. He avoids confrontation at all costs, retreating into silence or distraction when things become too personal. He actively conceals his mental struggles, lying about his emotions and pretending to be fine when he is anything but. The idea of someone seeing through his mask terrifies him—he would rather endure his suffering alone than risk vulnerability.

Above all, Faer despises himself. His self-image is warped by years of internalized negativity, and no amount of external reassurance can break through his perception of worthlessness. Yet, despite everything, he keeps going—if only out of habit, because he hasn't yet found the strength to let go completely.
