   Asia Argento is a third-year high school student at Kuoh Academy in Class 3-B and is a girl with a very gentle heart who possesses a rare Sacred Gear, Twilight Healing, in her body that is capable of healing the wounds of Humans, Angels, Fallen Angels, and Devils alike.

   Race: Reincarnated Devil, Former Human Gender: Female Age: 17

   Asia is a beautiful young girl with long blonde hair and green eyes. Her body measurements are [B83→85-W55-H81→83 cm]; her height is [155 cm] [5 feet 1 inch] and her body weight is [44→45 kg] [97→98 lbs]. Her hair flows all the way down to her back, with split bangs over her forehead and a single strand sticking out from the top and sloping backward.

   Her former main attire consisted of a dark teal nun outfit with light blue accents, a white veil over her head with light blue accents, a brown satchel slung on her right hip (where she holds her Bible), and brown boots with black straps in an X-shaped pattern. She also wore a silver cross necklace around her neck (she was later forced to remove it after becoming a Devil).

   Upon transferring to Kuoh Academy, she wears the Kuoh Academy girls' uniform, albeit with a black sweater vest over her dress shirt in place of the cape and corset which has become her current main attire.

   Asia is extremely shy, innocent, and fairly inexperienced in things like socializing. As a former nun, Asia is a devout Christian, despite being reincarnated as a Devil, Asia still believes in God and follows his teachings such as praying to him and reading the Bible, which would usually result in her getting severe headaches. Asia has immense kindness, even when she was still a human, she harbored no hate towards Devils and treated everyone equally, regardless of what they were. Azazel noted that her unconditionally kindhearted nature forces her Sacred Gear to heal even enemies, as she is incapable of turning a blind eye to the suffering of others. Asia was also in deep shock when she learned from Kokabiel that the God of the Bible was killed during the Great War.

   While initially having difficulty adjusting to her new life as a Devil, Asia has stated that she has found more important things than her faith in God, those things being her new friends, comrades as well as Issei's parents and Issei himself.

   Asia is noted to be a very pure individual as people are drawn to her and that she is easily liked by others. Her charm and purity is such as that she was able to tame Rassei, a Sprite Dragon despite being a Devil as normally Sprite Dragons aren't tamable by Devils and are only tamable by those with pure hearts. Azazel noted that she had outstanding talent for taming Dragons, as after receiving Ophis' blessing, she was able to form a contract with Fafnir, one of the Five Great Dragon Kings. After she managed to tame 4 mass-produced Evil Dragons, her name was spread in the world of Dragons due to the fact that only Evil Gods were able to tame Evil Dragons, as she became known as the Dragon Priestess (龍りゅうの巫み女こ, Ryū no Miko) among Dragons.

   Due to having to give away her panties each time Asia wants to summon Fafnir, she has become very embarrassed due to seeing Farnir eat her panties to the point of escaping from reality, lamenting that she has become associated with panties. However, after seeing Fafnir's resolve to protect her against Rizevim, she has become a bit less embarrassed by it and can put her shame aside during battle when Fafnir is fighting for her intensely.

   Asia has a love of agriculture as she often does gardening and planting. She has even stated that she would like to live with Issei in the country side of the Underworld and do cropping along with other kind of farming.

   Asia would become more "bold" in her relationship with Issei when she saw the other girls being more intimate with him and dislikes the idea of being left out. Due to Issei initially viewing her as more of a sister due to his desire to protect her, he didn't ogle her like he did other women, causing her to be sad and develop a bit of a inferiority complex when it comes to comparing her looks to the likes of Rias. However, she will get jealous and pinch his cheeks whenever he lusts over other girls. She is shown to desire to be treated as a woman by Issei and to have his erotic behavior directed at her, as she has even shown a desire bear his children, though she ultimately succeeds in this endeavor after the Sports Festival when she kisses him, as following that point, Issei began to view her more as a woman than a little sister. Asia thinks very highly of Issei and has stated a desire to stay with Issei forever, even being willing to become his servant. Despite being shy, she is shown to be protective of Issei as she will slap someone like Diodora when they insult Issei.

   After becoming Issei's servant, she has begun to shown more courage and determination in battle, as demonstrated in the Rating Game against Team Rias Gremory, where Asia stayed behind to fight Crom Cruach alone to allow Xenovia and Irina to proceed ahead as well to preserve Issei stamina, with Crom Cruach admiring her courage and guts. During the fight, she even displayed the ability to use Magic offensively, in contrast to her past passive self, as she continued to fight Crom Cruach even after Fafnir was defeated, stating that as the servant and future wife of the Red Dragon Emperor, she would keep fighting until the end, which deeply impressed Crom Cruach as he praised her courage and spirit, stating that it was his honor to fight her and Fafnir.

   In the past, Asia was abandoned by her parents in front of a church as an infant and was raised there. Sometime, during her childhood, she had awakened her Twilight Healing to heal an injured puppy she discovered, which was witnessed by one of the Catholic Church members causing her to become symbolized as the Holy Maiden. But, in all that time, she didn't have either friends or people to talk to since most people viewed her as a monster who could heal wounds.

   At some point, Diodora Astaroth devised a plot to have Asia heal him, a Devil, and cause her banishment from the Church with people labeling her as a "witch". With no place to go, Asia had to rely on the Fallen Angels.

   Demonic Power: As a Devil, Asia has all the common skills and powers of one, including the power to cast spells.

   Enhanced Magic Power: As a Bishop, Asia can strengthen her Magic and Demonic Powers, which she normally applies onto her Twilight Healing.

   Magic Talent: As a Bishop, Asia has shown great potential in using magic as she was put in charge of forming a barrier by Freed. Asia is studying under Rossweisse in order to learn summoning and transport magic to help defend herself and increase her combat strength, she can also use Dragon Gate magic circle. Using her Bishop trait, she can enhance her healing abilities with Twilight Saint Affection, along with Fafnir's golden aura.

   Summoning Magic: Asia is show to be very adept at summoning magic as she is capable of using it to summon various creatures to assist her and Dragon Gate magical circles to summon her guardian familiar; the Golden Dragon King Fafnir.

   Elemental Magic: Asia is capable of using elemental magic; such as fire and wind magic as demonstrated in her fight against Crom Cruach.

   Dragon Tamer: She's shown to have the talent of compatibility and outstanding luck with Dragons, as she made a pact with a baby Sprite Dragon, Rassei, whose race is notoriously untamable. After receiving Ophis' blessing, her compatibility increased, and she made a pact with one of the Five Dragon Kings; Fafnir. Asia was able to make a pact with four mass-produced Evil Dragons who were named Anselmus, Cyril, Gregorios and Simeon, which is an act that only Evil Gods were able to do before.

   Praying: Asia is one of the two Devils, the other being Xenovia, that can pray to God without receiving damage in the form of a headache after Issei made a request to Michael to allow them to pray to God.

   Flight: Being a Devil, Asia can use her wings to fly.

   Twilight Healing (聖母の微笑トワイライト・ヒーリング, Towairaito Hīringu): Asia's Sacred Gear and her main weapon of choice, she can heal Humans, Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels alike. Since she has shown no actual combat skills, she relies on her healing abilities as a healer of her team. Asia learned how to expand the range of her healing field and send her healing powers as a projectile, although these are inferior to actual touch. Azazel has said that she mastered her Twilight Healing more than other possessors in healing powers. She can also create a bow and arrow of healing power, and if the arrow is about to hit an enemy, it will disperse instead of healing them.

   Twilight Saint Affection (聖龍姫が抱く慈愛の園トワイライト・セイント・アフェクション, Towairaito Seinto Afekushon): Asia's sub-species Balance Breaker. Asia's Balance Breaker takes the form of a Golden Dragon Armor with red jewels that cover her body and grants her a field of absolute defence and protection. For a limited time, Asia can cover a field with tremendous healing energy and can negate any damage from virtually any sources, even from beings far stronger than her, such as Crom Cruach. It does not negate the attack, but rather it negates the damage that the attack would inflict. As Fafnir's aura is included as well, it also boasts immense defense on top of the healing ability. Asia can also used it to heal numerous allies at once on a wide range, using it to heal the allied Youkai during the Evil Dragon War.

   Bishop Piece (僧そう侶りょの駒こま, Sōryo no Koma): Asia was reincarnated using the Bishop Piece, which grants her enhanced magic power.

   Dragons: Asia had made a pact with Dragons. With the help of Ophis' blessing, Azazel, Rias, Rossweisse, and Akeno, she can make pacts with various classes of Dragons, even higher classes, especially Fafnir the Golden Dragon King. She uses Fafnir and the other four Evil Dragons (that she tamed using Fafnir's skills) to protect herself in order for her to heal her comrades. Test.

   Keys: Koneko, Toujou

   Koneko Toujou, originally named Shirone is a first-year student at Kuoh Academy, prior to becoming a second-year, and a member of the Occult Research Club. She is a Nekoshou, a rare species of Nekomata, and the younger sister of Kuroka, as well as Rias Gremory's first Rook.

   Race: Reincarnated Devil, Former Nekomata (Nekoshou) Gender: Female Age: Unknown

   Koneko is a petite girl with white hair and gold eyes. Her body measurements are [B67-W57-H73 cm] [B26-W22-H29 in]. Her weight is [31 kg] [68 lbs]. The front of her hair has two long bangs going past her shoulders and several loose bangs hanging over her forehead, while the back has a short bob cut. She also wears a black cat-shaped hair clip on both sides of her hair, one of which contained the data on artificially making new Super Devils.

   She usually wears the Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform, without the shoulder cape. Koneko's height is 138 cm (4 feet 6 inches), making her one of the shortest female characters of the series.

   In her Nekomata form, she grows a pair of white cat ears and a pair of matching white tails, and her pupils become more cat-like.

   In her "Shirone Mode", Koneko can make herself grow older, and her attire consists of a short white kimono and a light blue skirt. Her bust size grows significantly larger when in this mode, making her look more similar to her sister Kuroka.

   Due to witnessing her sister supposedly losing control over her nekomata power and killing her master, Koneko became traumatized by the event, causing her to become withdrawn into herself and stripping her of most of her emotions. As a result, Koneko originally had a quiet and cold personality, rarely showing any feelings or emotions, even when she was speaking. It is noted that her serious personality is a result of receiving influence from Rias, and it is also antithetical to her sister's mischievous and outgoing personality. She was also the only one in the group who did not initially get along with Issei, often insulting and rebuking the latter for his perverted nature, although she reveals that she respects him for never giving up and considers him a hard worker.

   She shows the most concern for her comrades when they are in trouble, often lending her strength in fights. Koneko apparently has a problem with people calling her a midget (although the context of the phrase could be used to be called flat, as in bust size), as shown in her second battle against Freed Sellzen. This may stem from her insecurity about her own small body and bust size.

   Koneko is also a glutton, food lover, and a keen gourmet, as she is frequently seen eating snacks, visiting restaurants, and enjoy regional specialties while on food tours.

   Born as Shirone, Koneko is a young Nekomata who is part of a rare species among her kind, called the Nekoshou. She was born from the union between a human father and a Nekomata mother named Fujimai. Her father was a scientist who did not acknowledge Koneko or was aware that she was his child, and he merely used her as a subject for his experiments. Her parents eventually died in an experiment-related accident. However, her older sister Kuroka, omitted the truth and any other details about them from Koneko to protect her.

   After losing her parents, she and her sister were later taken in by an unnamed Devil from the branch family of the House of Naberius, who reincarnated her sister as one of the members of his peerage. However, Kuroka's power as a Nekomata supposedly soon grew out of control, eventually causing her to kill her master and become a Stray Devil on the run from her pursuers. In actuality, he had planned to experiment on Koneko in his research about creating a Super Devil, causing Kuroka to kill him in order to protect her younger sister.

   Following the incident and the failed manhunt that came after, Koneko was sentenced to death by the Devils in hopes of preventing another incident like Kuroka's from happening. However, Sirzechs Lucifer, one of the Four Great Satans, protected her and left her under his sister Rias' care. Due to the trauma, she experienced with her sister's betrayal and murder of her master, she fell into a deep depression, eventually robbing her of nearly all of her emotions until Rias helped her out of it. It was around that time Rias gave Koneko her name and made Koneko her servant.

   Demonic Power: Koneko has all the powers and abilities common to Devils, including the power to cast spells.

   Senjutsu Master: Being a Nekoshou, Koneko has high aptitude for Senjutsu, she is still training under her sister, Kuroka as well as Magari. By tapping into Senjutsu, she gains control over the flow of ki and is able to both greatly enhance her physical attacks and affect others internally, such as weakening Gandoma's magic resistance. Koneko can use Senjutsu to detect the presence of others, and would later master it.

   Touki (闘とう気き, Fighting Spirit): Koneko can cover herself in an aura of ki, drastically increasing her strength, defense, and speed. She could soon cover herself in a tremendous touki, surpassing her sister in terms of strength.

   Healing: Through the usage of Senjutsu, Koneko can use ki to recover both a person's physical and mental health, stamina, and even recover a person's life-force.

   Bouchujutsu (房ぼう中ちゅ術じゅつ, Bedroom Method): A more effective and faster healing technique in which Koneko directly shares her ki with a man to heal life-force to a greater extent, this is done by the act of having sex. Though Koneko has never performed this, she claims to be capable of doing so when offering it to Issei should he need it.

   Kasha (火か車しゃ, Burning Chariot): Koneko can summon multiple large wheels that are covered in white flames that have the power of purification.

   Sealing: Koneko had learned a practical use of Senjutsu from Kuroka as a counter-measure against the Evil Dragons revived using Sephiroth Graal, in which she uses a jewel from Issei's armor to seal their souls inside it, as shown with Grendel who was later stored and guarded in Heaven.

   Presence Suppression: Koneko has demonstrated the ability to use senjutsu to suppress her presence and avoid detection.

   Youjutsu User: Being a Nekomata, Koneko is able to use Youjutsu, but she is still learning under Kuroka and Magari. She uses Youjutsu in tandem with her Senjutsu.

   Immense Strength: Physically enhanced by her Rook Piece, Koneko, in spite of her petite size, has been described and shown as having extreme strength, lifting up people and things larger than herself without effort; such as Viser, who she had then knocked backwards a great distance, as well as punched through hard materials such as metal with great ease. She fought and bested Xuelan, another Rook who she compared to a Queen in power. At Nekomata Lv.2, Koneko's strength was enhanced to where she could injure against Gandoma, another Rook, who inherited natural superhuman strength. She could surpass her older sister in terms of physical strength when boosting her Rook-enhanced might with Touki.

   Immense Durability: To match her strength, Koneko has high defense enough that most attacks such as being stomped on or being shot by a light bullet doesn't have much effect on her; bouncing off her.

   Immense Speed: Despite being a Rook, Koneko also has enhanced speed as a Nekomata, being able to move around far more quickly than others due to her size and could handle almost all Xuelan's swift kicks. Through using either her touki or Nekomata Mode Lv. 2, her speed is increased letting her move fast enough to catch opponents off guard. Having gained her third tail, Koneko's speed alone exceeded Kuroka's ability to detect her presence.

   Enhanced Senses: As a Nekomata, Koneko naturally has heightened senses. She has demonstrated this on multiple occasions, such as the time she was able to smell Fallen Angels within the Church.

   Transformation: Koneko is able to shapeshift to hide and regrow her cat ears and tail to appear more human whenever she wants. Regrowing them grants Koneko her natural Nekomata abilities.

   Nekomata Mode Level 2 (猫ねこ又またモードレベル 2, Nekomata Mōdo Reberu 2): In this mode, Koneko is able to grow a second tail similar to her older sister after further increasing her abilities by covering herself in Touki using Senjutsu, which gives her explosive power and increased physical abilities for a temporary amount of time.

   Shirone Mode (白しろ音ねモード, Shirone Mōdo): In this second mode, Koneko is able to make her body mature, appearing similar to her older sister temporarily by gathering the natural ki around her and syncing it with her touki. In Shirone Mode, she is granted full access to her nekomata powers, letting her use moves such as Kasha and becoming the power of purification itself, being able to make the enhanced Vampires disappear by merely touching them.

   Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Koneko is a masterful martial artist, using various combat techniques such as boxing, karate and wrestling. In addition to her Rook trait, she can overcome opponents such as former trained exorcists and a far more experienced Xuelan who is also a Rook and Kung Fu expert without exhaustion. After accepting her nekomata powers, Koneko can combine martial arts and senjutsu to further increase the danger of her physical attacks. She improved herself through training and experience, letting her defeat mass-produced Evil Dragons and a cloned Grendel. Koneko fought on par against Kuroka in melee combat.

   Flight: Being a Devil, Koneko can use her wings to fly.

   Rook Piece (戦せん車しゃの駒こま, Sensha no Koma): Koneko was reincarnated using the Rook Piece, which grants her enhanced offense and defense.

   Akeno Himejima is the daughter of Baraqiel, a Fallen Angel Cadre who soon became Grigori's Vice-Governor General and Shuri Himejima, making her a descendant of the Himejima Clan. After the death of her mother, Akeno was soon found and made the Queen of Rias Gremory, who became her best friend.

   Race: Reincarnated Devil, Former Fallen Angel/Human Hybrid

   Gender: Female

   Age: 18

   Akeno is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, very long black hair and violet eyes. Her hair is usually tied in a very long ponytail, reaching all the way down to the floor with two strands sticking out from the top and sloping backward, with an orange ribbon keeping it in place.

   Like most of the girls at Kuoh Academy, she wears the customary Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform, along with black calf-length socks.

   Her body measurements are [B102-W60-H89 cm] [B40-W24-H35 in]. Her body weight is [54 kg] [119 lbs] while her height is 168 cm (5 feet 6 inches).

   During battles, she often transforms her clothes into a traditional miko attire, consisting of a white haori with red accents, a red hakama, and a pair of zōri with white tabi.

   After Akeno has revealed her Fallen Angel side in front of Issei, she has one Devil wing and one Fallen Angel wing. Her fallen angel wings increased to six, at first, because of the aid of Azazel's bracelets, then eight, resembling a High-Tier Fallen Angel.

   Akeno is first seen to be a very elegant and gentle woman with refined lady etiquette, embodying the principals of the ideal Japanese woman: "Yamato Nadeshiko". However, underneath her calm, noble and dignified atmosphere, Akeno is shown to be highly sadistic in battle and doesn't show any mercy or remorse towards the enemies she slays, casually keeping up her smiling elegant persona over an enemy's death and showing an expression of pleasure and lust upon delivering them pain.

   Despite her sadism, Akeno is very kind, acknowledged by Rias and Issei. Before meeting Rias, Akeno would help people by purifying evil spirits for a living.

   As a result of seeing her mother being killed in front of her eyes and her father being unable to save her, Akeno developed a hatred for Fallen Angels, including a sense of self-loathing towards her own Fallen Angel nature, for it was the reason her beloved mother was killed by the Himejima Clan, which lead her to sever ties with her father, going into exile before being saved by Rias after Akeno's maternal relatives nearly killed her. Due to this reason, she empathizes with those who have suffered under the hands of Fallen Angels like Issei and Asia, who were manipulated and killed by the Fallen Angel Raynare, and was worried that Issei would dislike her due to her Fallen Angel nature. However, she fell in love with him after he told her that he still liked her. With Issei's help, she was able to overcome the sadness of her mother's death and reconcile with her estranged father, renewing their familial bond. Due to Issei helping her and Baraqiel in their reconciliation, Akeno's love for him deepened considerably as she confessed her feelings for him.

   While Akeno originally had no interest in dating men due to her past, she began to take an interest in Issei, thinking of him as a cute junior and that interest intensified after seeing his determination in the Rating Game against Riser Phenex and his actions during Rias' engagement ceremony, where he defeated Riser Phenex. She has stated that Issei is the first boy she has ever felt such feelings for as she is shown to have a desire to further her relationship with him. She also loves to tease Issei and Rias, as she loves to make Rias irritated by flirting with Issei stemming from her playful sadistic side. Akeno has also stated that she has some masochism in her as well, as she is only masochistic towards Issei in contrast to her sadistic nature in battle. She is shown to be quite vulgar, flirting with Issei as such and doesn't care if Rias knows or saw her doing the act as she tried to have sex with him while also trying to help Issei further his relationship with Rias, but does care enough to not steal him away from her as she even helped Issei confess to Rias. After falling in love with him, she becomes very seductive and is obsessed with having an affair with Issei whenever she finds a chance, which is often interrupted by Rias and the other girls.

   She also has a emotionally weak side to her once she removes her mask of being an Onee-Sama, what is left is her true side of "depending" on a man, which is generally Issei and her father Baraqiel after reconciling with him. After her beloved mother was executed, she was deeply traumatized and heartbroken for years until she found closure by reconciling with her father. If danger arises to the people she cares about, she will become depressed or it can also lead to a rise in her tension. The latter occurred when Issei was injured in the Rating Game between the Sitri and Gremory groups, and the former when Issei was thought to be dead in the Dimensional Gap.

   Despite being seductive toward Issei and acting like a mature young woman, Akeno is still innocent and emotional towards love and acts like a girl her age whenever she is on a date with Issei. However, this still does not stop her from being seductive and flirting with Issei. Despite being seen as calm and clear, Akeno does get jealous like the other girls and will fight for Issei.

   Akeno is the only child of Shuri Himejima, a Shinto priestess from the Himejima Clan and Baraqiel, a Fallen Angel and one of the leaders of the Fallen Angel organization, Grigori. As a child, Akeno was close to her mother as her father was mostly away on missions and fell into despair when she witnessed her mother's death, blaming Baraqiel for not being able to protect her. After the death of Shuri, Akeno stayed with her mother's relative before being kicked out due to her Fallen Angel blood.

   At the tender age of 10, without food or money, Akeno journeyed throughout Japan using her skills to purify evil spirits that she learned from her mother in order to survive, doing so for a year and a half. When she stumbled into a certain town, Akeno indirectly saved a human that was contracted with a Devil from the Gremory Clan. Fearing that the Devil would kill her due to her Fallen Angel heritage, Akeno decided to hide from them. Later, while trying to leave the town, Akeno was suddenly attacked by her relatives from the Himejima Clan who came to kill her. Before her Grand-Uncle Suou Himejima could land the decisive blow, Rias, and her father's Bishop, Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa, appeared and talked Akeno's family out of killing her with two conditions; first Akeno is to never enter the territory under the Himejima Clan and second, to always stay beside Rias. She then moved into the Gremory Palace where she was taught various things from studies, to how a lady should act as well as deepening her bonds with Rias, becoming her best friend in the process. She had also become acquainted with Sona Sitri around this time.

   Upon entering Junior High, Rias received her Evil Pieces and made Akeno her first servant. Two years before the series, she entered Kuoh Academy alongside Rias and helped her in re-establishing the Occult Research Club becoming its Vice-President. Akeno and Rias went to the Kyoto trip during their second year, Rias enjoyed every moment of it, however, they didn't plan a proper schedule and therefore there were places that she wasn't able to visit like the Nijou-jou, Rias was so upset that she stomped her feet at the railway station as Akeno tried to calm her down. Also during their second year, Akeno and Rias organized their club as a haunted house for the school festival, they even used real ghosts as Rias requested friendly Youkai looking for jobs to plan the decorations. This, however, got them in a lot of trouble with Sona who scolded them for using the real thing.

   Great Demonic Power: Akeno has great potential in using demonic power, comparable to her King despite being a reincarnated Devil, being the second strongest in the peerage. Riser acknowledged that, pre-training, she was the only one among Rias' peerage who could face his peerage. She became one of the first three to be promoted to Middle-Class, with Azazel stating that she now rivals High-Class Devils. Siegfried, the Hero Faction’s best swordsman, believed that even with his Balance Breaker, he'd surely lose against Rias or Akeno. Through training, Akeno enhanced her demonic powers to the point of being able to defeat an army of Mass-produced Evil Dragons, as well as hold her own against the current Zhu Bajie and Rossweisse equipped with her Millistein Wand. Akeno is able to use her demonic power to create a special technique that allows devils to move freely within shrines and temples without any drawbacks.

   Elemental Demonic Power: Akeno excels in using natural elements such as ice, fire, and water, but she specializes in lightning. She is able to create thunder clouds using her demonic power, making lightning bolts rain down on her opponents. She could freeze Cerberus' flames in an instant and target ice spears at her opponents. Much like her Holy Lightning Dragon, Akeno can also form Asian Dragons out of fire and ice, sending them at her enemies.

   Lightning Manipulation: Akeno originally specialized in lightning demonic power alone before she began using her Holy Lightning ability, where she imbues it with the power of light. Even before combining it with the power of light, Akeno's strongest lightning bolts were powerful enough to destroy the Kuoh Academy gymnasium. Her strikes are shown to be capable of inflicting paralysis and inducing great pain on opponents.

   Fire: Akeno is seen to can perform Fire Demonic Power and shape it into an Asian Dragon. Water: Akeno has shown to be able to summon a vast amount of bodies of water, large enough to fill a swimming pool.

   Ice: Akeno is capable of freezing her target and create ice into spikes and projectiles. She is shown creating a blizzard that instantly freezes even fire, as well as create Ice Dragons.

   Hypnosis: Akeno has shown the ability to hypnotize others as she used it on her college friends to keep Issei's identity a secret while introducing him as her boyfriend.

   Cloth Manipulation: Usually when Akeno needs to use all of her magic power, she alters her clothes into a Shinto priestess attire that gave her the epithet, "Priestess of Thunder". She also uses this to repair hers or the clothes of others.

   Enhanced Magic Power: As a Queen, Akeno can strengthen her magic and demonic powers using the Bishop aspect, which she has shown to be the most adept at using in combat.

   Great Light Power: As a Half-Fallen Angel daughter of Baraqiel, Akeno also inherited great light power, mainly in the form of Holy Lightning which she continued to improved through diligent training, her overall power strengthen to the point of gaining six fallen angel wings, which later increased to eight.

   Holy Lightning (雷らい光こ, Raikō): Akeno's signature ability that she inherited from her father Baraqiel. Akeno combines the power of light and lightning to create Holy Lightning. Akeno can make high-density lightning strikes on her opponents.

   Fallen Angel Mode (堕だ天てん使しモード, Datenshi Mōdo): A special form, achieved through Akeno making her Holy Lightning blood denser. In this form, she gained six Fallen Angel wings, strengthening herself, making herself appear more like a Top-Tier Fallen Angel. At first, Akeno needed special bracelets created by Azazel. However, she later became able to enter this state at will. Akeno's strength increased to the point of being able to gain a total of eight wings.

   Holy Lightning Dragon (雷らい光こう龍りゅう, Raikōryū): Due to her constant draining of Issei's Dragon aura, she has gained the ability to shape her Holy Lightning into the form of an Asian Dragon, which can move as if it was alive. It has been shown to be powerful, devouring large fragments of rocks and erasing one of Grendel's fireballs. She became capable of creating five of them at once, each of which are described as having a dense aura. Senjutsu: Akeno can use senjutsu to a limited degree to manipulate her presence and avoid detection.

   Enhanced Strength and Defense: As a Queen, Akeno possesses enhanced strength and defense through the Rook trait of her Queen piece, but due to Akeno never resorting to physical confrontations, it's unknown how her physical prowess compares to Koneko.

   Enhanced Speed: As a Queen, Akeno has the Knight speed enhancement through her Queen piece. Akeno was capable of evading many of Zhu Bajie's attacks with ease.

   Expert Magician: Akeno has shown herself to be skilled in the use of magic with her, Rias and Rossweisse being the top magic type specialists in the Peerage (before Rossweisse left). Her magic abilities are enhanced through the Bishop trait of her Queen piece. She has a strong affinity for Shinto Magic, stemming from her Himejima lineage as she could purify evil spirits as a child and later summon legendary Onis.

   Summoning Magic: Akeno has some skill in summoning magic, being able to instruct Asia in its use. She is shown to summon up to six oni familiars that are useful in recon. Her ability to summon creatures was strengthened after she entered the Himejima household and strengthened her Himejima blood, thus allowing her to summon legendary Youkai like Ura and Ibaraki Doujou.

   Defensive Magic: She has been shown to be able to use magic to strengthen the power of her defense by focusing on the Rook trait of her Queen piece to protect herself as well as others from powerful attacks.

   Teleportation Magic: Akeno can use teleportation magic to teleport herself and others.

   Purification: Akeno can use Shinto spells to purify evil spirits which she learned from her mother.

   Extrasensory Perception: Kiba has noted that Akeno has a particular skill in reading different kinds of energy flows, being able to tell how the spirits of Kiba's old friends were released from the orb, and sensing Vali's arrival.

   Stealth Expert: As mentioned by Issei and Rias, Akeno has developed a skill to sneak behind people without leaving any presence. Rias mentioned that Akeno has learned a skill that allows her to avoid detection from Koneko's Senjutsu sensing ability.

   Master Chef: Akeno is an extremely skilled cook, her skill inherited from her mother, cooking delicious foods such as nikujaga, which reminded Baraqiel of Shuri's home cooking.[18] Her cooking skills are enough for her to be known as one of the Four Heavenly Kings alongside Miki, Rias, and Asia, cooking delicious foods, often competing with Rias over Issei.

   Flight: Uniquely, Akeno has two different methods of flight, the first being her bat-like wings as a reincarnated devil or fallen angels wings due to her heritage.

   Queen Piece: (女じょ王おうの駒こま, Joō no koma): Akeno was reincarnated using the Queen Piece, which grants her the characteristics of a Rook, Bishop, and Knight. Although, she is more aclined to the Bishop trait, instead of the Rook and Knight.

   Bracelets: Golden bracelets engraved with magical characters. An invention by Azazel that assisted the fallen angelization of Akeno.

   Oni: Akeno has a great affinity with Onis which she inherited from her mother. She made a contract with small onis as well as two legendary Oni, Ura and Ibaraki Douji.

   Oni Mask: Akeno possesses an oni mask, something that she uses to summon two powerful and legendary Oni under her contract. One is Ura, a famous Evil Oni who served as his tribe's leader on Onigashima, while the other is a Daiyoukai, Ibaraki Doujou, who served as Shuten Douji's right-hand man.

   Keys: Irina

   Irina is a third-year high school student at Kuoh Academy in Class 3-B and is a devout Christian who, even after learning of God's death, still follows his teachings. She is later reincarnated as an Angel by the Archangel Michael, through one of the Brave Saints, her ranking among his peerage being "Ace Of Spades".

   Race: Reincarnated Angel, Former Human Age: Unknown Gender: Female

   Irina is a beautiful young woman with violet eyes. She has long chestnut hair that is usually tied into twintails, each held with a blue scrunchy, but on some occasions, she lets her hair down. Her body measurements are B87-W59-H89 cm [B34-W23-H35 in]; height is 164 cm (5 feet 4 inches) and body weight is 56 kg.

   She wears the standard Church battle attire, same as Xenovia's with some slight differences. After transferring to Kuoh Academy and moving into the Hyoudou Residence, she starts wearing the Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform, with black short shorts under her skirt and the addition of white sneakers with blue accents.

   Following her Angelization by Michael, she wears a red "A" printed on her right hand, symbolizing her position as Michael's Ace. Irina also gained white Angel wings and a halo, she has a total of 4 wings.

   Irina is a cheerful, goofy, upbeat, and enthusiastic person. She is also shown to be cooperative and open-minded to others as she is seen with Arthur Pendragon discussing Excalibur Ruler.

   She is a fiercely devout Christian, even more so than Xenovia, showing great respect for God's teachings. In one of her past adventures, she revealed how happy she was to be able to wield a Holy sword like her father before her. During her first appearance, she was harsh towards those whom she perceived as an opposition to her religion. This was demonstrated by how she and Xenovia treated Asia Argento when they first met, although she was nowhwere near as harsh towards the exiled nun as her partner, as well as her reaction to Xenovia becoming a Devil. The death of God of the Bible was a great shock for Irina, yet she still believes in his teachings and transferred her belief to Michael who is the current "God". She is kind as she becomes a close friend of Asia, forming the Church Trio with Xenovia.

   As noted by Michael, in addition to her strong Christian faith, Irina is innocent, honest, respectful, and friendly, traits which he valued and also the reason he chose her to be his Ace.

   Irina seems to have a strong but subconscious eroticism of her own, being suprisingly easygoing and ready to "submit" when she accidently ended up being groped by Issei, her first reaction to the idea of becoming a cyborg being dislike as she wouldn't be able to bear Issei's children with a robotic body, and her reaction to seeing Elmenhilde crying to Ravel and Issei about her homeland was wondering if she'd been sexually assaulted. Xenovia both encourages and makes fun of this trait, providing justification for Irina to indulge, such as with thoughts of Issei's half-Angel children increasing Heaven's war-power, a reasoning that once helped provoke Irina into an independent "attack" on Issei, and simultaneously branding her an "ero-Angel," much to Irina's embarassment. After kissing Issei, she becomes bolder in her relationship with him, as she becomes less concerned about "falling" in order to show her love for him.

   She is shown to be very sensitive to and annoyed about being called "self-proclaiming."

   Irina's family lineage is related to the church, and her father being a pastor and exorcist of the Protestant Church and possessing a currently unidentified Holy Sword. She is Issei's childhood friend, who was under the impression that she was a boy due to appearing quite tomboyish, and they were close friends who used to play together. At some point, she kissed him while he was sleeping at her house. She later left Japan and went to England with her family, due to her father's job, where she trained to become an exorcist of the Protestant Church.

   Three years prior at age 14, Irina was granted the ability to wield Holy Swords via a Holy Element and was given Excalibur Mimic, thus following in her father's footsteps. Soon after, she was eventually partnered with Xenovia, where they undertook a mission to slay the stray Vampire from the House of Manthar.

   At some point in time, she crossed blades with a knight from Riser Phenex's Peerage named Karlamine.

   Light Power: As an Angel, Irina has the ability to create and wield Light.

   Light-Based Weapons: As an Angel, Irina is able to create Light-based weapons. In the anime, she has shown to be able to use light halos that wrapped about foes of remarkable power and size, such as one of Fenrir's sons. Irina created a move which forms rings of light that home in on her opponents and radiates light.

   Artificial Holy Sword Wielder: After taking in the Light Container, Irina became an artificial Holy Sword user, able to wield Excalibur Mimic and later Hauteclere.

   Holy Power: During the Kyoto trip, Irina assisted Xenovia in making a barrier that prevented humans from entering or hearing whatever happened inside of Issei's room, "filling the room with holiness and demonic power."

   Enhanced Speed: While she can't match up to the likes of Yuuto Kiba, Irina is still noticeably fast due to her training as an Exorcist, being able to dodge Jeanne's attacks with ease.

   Enhanced Strength: As a Human, Irina stated she was strong enough that the force of her swings could create wind to scatter clouds of scales from a Chimera, intense enough that she was concerned about the scales flying over to a nearby town. After being reincarnated as an Angel, her base physical prowess increased as she could fight and hold her own against more powerful supernatural beings.

   Enhanced Luck: Due to also receiving Ophis' blessing, Irina gained improved luck, winning second place in a lottery.

   Master Swordswoman: Like Xenovia, Irina is talented in swordsmanship, specialized in tricky movements that makes use of her speed, being able to fight on par with Jeanne during their first encounter. Even at 14 years old, Irina is skilled enough to be chosen as a Holy Sword wielder. Irina's swordsmanship skills became great enough being able to keep up against Ewald Cristaldi wielding a replica of Excalibur. Tomoe Meguri admitted that Irina's swordsmanship is on a whole different level. Against Dulio and his Angels, Irina was able to blow apart whole groups of them with her power, being able to keep pace with Xenovia, who believed she could fight and defeat Satan-Class Devils.

   Skilled Magician: In addition to her Light Weapons, Irina is mentioned to be a skilled user of Magic specializing in Holy Magic as an Exorcist, She is also currently learning from Rossweisse.

   Defensive Magic: Irina is shown to be able to create defensive magic circles to shield herself in battle as well, as was shown in the battle with Loki.

   Teleportation Magic: Irina has shown the ability to use teleportation magic in order to transport herself and others.

   Flight: Being an Angel, Irina can fly using her wings.

   Hauteclere (オートクレールおーとくれーる, Ōtokurēru): Irina's current primary weapon, a Holy Sword given to her by her father. The sword has the ability of purifying those cut by it.

   Excalibur Mimic (擬態の聖剣エクスカリバー・ミミック, Eskukaribā Mimikku): Irina's initial weapon (through artificial means). A Holy Sword that has the ability to transform itself into any shape as its wielder's desires. This sword was later given to Xenovia to be fused with Durandal.

   Katana: Irina typically wields Excalibur in the form of a katana.

   Holy Demonic Sword (聖せい魔ま剣けん, Seimaken): A prototype Irina received from Heaven based on Yuuto Kiba's Sword of Betrayer. She is able to use the swords ability to use different elemental attributes, ranging from fire, ice, and lightning.

   Keys: Xenovia, Quarta

   Xenovia Quarta is a third-year high school student at Kuoh Academy in Class 3-B and is a natural-born Holy Sword user who wields the Durandal.

   After learning the truth of God's death in the war, Xenovia was excommunicated from the Church and decided to join the Occult Research Club as Rias' second Knight, alongside Yuuto.

   Race: Reincarnated Devil, Former Human Age: Unknown Gender: Female

   Xenovia is a beautiful young woman with chin-length, blue hair with a dyed green fringe on the right side and brown eyes. She is also well-endowed with big breasts. Her body measurements are [B87-W58-H88 cm] [B34-W23-H35 in], and her body weight is [56 kg] [123 lbs]. Xenovia's height 166 cm (5 feet 5 inches).

   Her battle attire is her Church battle suit, which consists of a black, skin-tight, short sleeve leotard with pauldrons, matching fingerless gloves that extend to her biceps, and thigh-high boots, all of which are adorned with straps. This attire is worn under a white hooded cloak with gold and blue accents. She also wears a crucifix around her neck, which was later removed after becoming a Devil.

   Upon transferring to Kuoh Academy and joining the Occult Research Club, she wears the Kuoh Academy girls' uniform but without the cape.

   During the Kyoto trip, Xenovia wore a Qipao top with a mix of purple on top and light purple at the bottom with yellow pankou and highlights, and blue pants.

   When Xenovia was first introduced, she was shown to have a calm, quiet, and serious demeanor, putting her mission first and only speaking when necessary. She was also very cold, bordering on heartless, as she called Asia a witch for becoming a Devil (even though she became one unwillingly so she could be with Issei) and even went so far as to try and kill her. She later threatened to do the same to Kiba when he was technically a Stray. After being reborn as a Devil, however, she gains a very close relationship with Asia, being touched by her kindness and apologizes for calling her a witch when they first met.

   In battle, Xenovia appears to be a bit arrogant, stubborn, and rarely uses her head in attempting to overwhelm her opponents with pure power and strength instead of being subtle or using skills. According to Issei, her fighting style is comparable to that of a Rook despite being a Knight, referring to her as a "Power idiot". As Xenovia was raised in the Church despite her high intellect and athletic abilities, she lacks common knowledge on the life of a normal person. This has been shown when she brought a box of condoms to school as well as wanting to give birth to strong children, and had chosen Issei as her mate.

   As the series progresses, it is shown that Xenovia has developed genuine romantic feelings towards Issei due to him protecting his comrades, even if he gets injured by doing so. As a result, she becomes more aggressive in seducing him, which proves that Xenovia is quite perverted as well, a fact that she is "cool" with.

   While a faithful member of the Church, her beliefs are flexible enough to accept help from a Dragon, such as receiving a free lunch (after Irina spent all their money on a fake painting of a Saint) and wanting to not only accomplish their mission but survive afterward as well. Although Xenovia started off harsh when concerning religious issues such as Asia who was a former Nun dubbed a Witch for healing a devil, she has since become more open-minded about with her beliefs as she deeply sympathized with Masaomi for being unable to be with Cleria and even shed tears for him even in battle conflicting her serious nature in combat and even held onto him after Rizevim killed him.

   Since her childhood, Xenovia has endeavored in her training and studies for God and her religion. She was also raised and trained as the wielder of Durandal under Griselda Quarta as her sword master and legal guardian. Eventually, she becomes an exorcist, an agent of the Catholic Church, and partnered with Irina Shidou.

   After Xenovia's life was put in danger three years prior to the series, because of her formerly long hair in a mission with Irina to exterminate a stray vampire from the House of Manthar, she chose to cut her long hair to prevent that kind of thing from happening again. She also dyed a part of her hair green for fashion.

   Demonic Power: Xenovia has all the powers and abilities common to Devils, including the power to cast spells.

   Natural-born Holy Sword Wielder: Xenovia is a natural-born Holy Sword wielder and capable of wielding any Holy Sword without artificial means like Irina. Even reincarnated as a Devil, Xenovia is still able to wield any Holy Sword without any issues.

   Enhanced Strength: Due to her years of training in the church, Xenovia gained superb arm strength, able to wield very heavy swords like Excalibur Destruction and Durandal with ease. After being reincarnated into a Devil, her natural strength has been increased too.

   Enhanced Speed: Xenovia is able to move at superhuman speeds. She combines her speed with Durandal's destructive powers, making her a formidable fighter. Her speed is further enhanced by her Knight piece. However, Xenovia is considerably slower than Yuuto due to her being power-oriented as opposed to the technique-oriented Yuuto. When further combined with the Excalibur Rapidly, her speed is enhanced, and she can move as fast as Masaomi.

   Immense Stamina: Xenovia has massive amounts of stamina and endurance. She was durable enough to confront Nero at the end of their match. She can still muster enough strength to use Cross Crisis enhanced by Crimson Destruction Dragonar.

   Master Swordswoman: Xenovia is a highly skilled swordswoman and is later revealed to prefer to dual wield. She was able to fight on par with Kiba in their initial match (albeit not in his right state of mind) and later battle Freed Sellzen, who was wielding Excalibur Destruction. Xenovia, however, is weak in technique when compared to Kiba, preferring to use power in all her attacks. She has started to improve her skills as time progressed, and it was even stated that if she were to master Ex-Durandal, then she could combat the True Longinus' Balance Breaker and surpass Kiba. It is stated by Azazel that her power is equal to that of a High-class Devil. Tomoe Meguri also stated that Xenovia's swordsmanship skills are on a whole different level alongside Irina. After fighting Vasco Strada, she returned to her dual-wielding style and went back on the power aspect of her fighting style. Against Dulio and his Angels, Xenovia blew apart groups of them with her power, believing she can fight and defeat Satan-Class Devils. By using Excalibur's Scabbard, Xenovia was able to keep up with Apollon, God of the Sun and the Chief God of Olympus.

   Magic: Xenovia can use Magic to store away Durandal in another dimension and summon it back when she needs it.

   Keen Intellect: While considered an idiot like Issei, Xenovia had studied hard to improve her knowledge and intellect in order to become a Student Council President. She managed to excel in her studies and was successfully chosen as the Student Council President.

   Praying: Xenovia is one of the two Devils, the other being Asia, that can pray to God without receiving damage in the form of a headache after Issei made a request to Michael to allow her to pray to God.

   Sword Sense: Similar to Zekka, Xenovia has the ability to sense swords' voices to some extent, but hers isn't as precise as Zekka's.

   Flight: As a Devil, Xenovia can fly using her wings.

   Durandal (デュランダル, Dyurandaru): Xenovia's main weapon, a unique-shaped single-edged blue broadsword that has a golden edge. It is a unique sword, to the point that it responds to the user, for her, Durandal releases a massive aura, which has destructive powers. Xenovia later learned that she can transfer Durandal's aura into another Holy Sword, as proven when she channeled its Holy Aura inside Ascalon.

   Durandal Birth: A combination technique between Xenovia and Yuuto, where she channels its Holy Power to Yuuto, who would unleash his sacred gear creating multiple Holy Demonic Swords covered in the Holy Power of Durandal directed at their targets. Durandal Cannon (デュランダル・キャノン, Dyurandaru Kyanon ): This is a technique that has been dubbed as such by Issei in which, Xenovia charges the Holy Power of Ex-Durandal, then unleashes the Holy Power as one powerful attack, which can devour her opponents and destroy buildings. However, a drawback is that after a single use, it has to be charged up again, but it's not as fast after the first time. Cross Crisis (クロス・クライシス, Kurosu Kuraishisu): This is a new technique that Xenovia named in their fight against Walburga, in which, she uses Durandal and True Excalibur to augment each other's Holy Power before unleashing a powerful cross-shaped attack powerful enough to split apart the purple flamed Yamata no Orochi whose soul had been used for Walburga's Incinerate Antiphon Calvario. Excalibur (エクスカリバー, Ekusukaribā): Xenovia's second weapon. She was able to materialize the original True Excalibur, through merging the all the seven fragments into a single one instead of a single fragment, allowing her to wield the true blade itself.

   Excalibur's Scabbard (エクスカリバーの鞘さや, Ekusukaribā no Saya): The legendary Scabbard of Excalibur, which emits Holy Power similar to a normal Holy Sword was originally sealed in an underground ruin. This makes Xenovia essentially immortal, healing from wounds received from even God-class beings, even allowing her to endure the light-based attacks of the Chief-God, Apollon, despite being a Devil and entrapped in a cage of light.[10] Crimson Destruction Dragonar (真紅の破壊龍騎士クリムゾン・デストラクツョン・ドラグナー, Kurimuzon Desutorakushon Doragunā): Also known as Crimson Dragon Knight of Destruction is Xenovia's variation of the Scale Mail, where Issei uses his Red Wyverns to attach themselves to her and syncs their auras to create a red armor for herself. Using this armor, her strength and speed are increased to where a single swing of Durandal was powerful enough to leave a large crater even changing the terrain and fast enough to outpace even Nero.[14] It is unknown if Xenovia can use Boost, Transfer, and Penetrate as it noted to be similar yet different from Rias' Crimson Extinct Dragonar.

   Knight Piece (騎き士しの駒こま, Kishi no Koma): Xenovia was reincarnated using a Knight Piece, which enhances her speed, making her faster than an average person. It is noted that while she gained increased speed, her power-type fighting style leaves her slower than other technique-type Knights such as Yuuto or Bennia.

   Rias Gremory is the Gremory Clan's heiress after her oldest brother, Sirzechs, took the position of Lucifer. Rias is the sole daughter and youngest child of Zeoticus and Venelana Gremory, the aunt of Millicas Gremory, and the maternal cousin of Sairaorg and Magdaran Bael.

   She became known as the Crimson-Haired Ruin Princess, because of the color of her hair and Power of Destruction. Now, Rias is a first-year College Student at Kuoh Academy, the former President of the Occult Research Club, and the school's Number-One Beauty, as well as one of Kuoh Academy's Two Great Ladies alongside Akeno Himejima. She is the master of Issei.

   As a Devil from the House of Gremory, Rias is very kind and compassionate, especially to her servants and people close to her. She gets angry and violent whenever people insult her or her peerage, showing a fiery side to her. This also plays into the fact that she dislikes cruelty towards people, as shown with her disgust over Marius Tepes, who abused his own sister for his own benefit, and how she killed the Fallen Angels, such as Mittelt, Dohnaseek, Kalawarna, and Raynare for their cruel treatment of Issei. Rias also holds great sympathy towards Sairaorg and his mother Misla Bael for how badly they were treated by the Bael clan.

   Rias is proud of her family's name, but she does not like being seen as Rias of the Gremory Family. The reason for her living in the human world is because there, everyone sees her as Rias, not as a Devil or as the Crimson-Haired Ruin Princess. Due to this and the fact that the only men who showed interest in her were interested in her due to being the Heiress of the House of Gremory, Rias soured on the idea of finding a lover.

   Rias is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous body, white skin, blue eyes inherited from her father, Zeoticus, and a buxom figure.

   Her most distinctive feature is her long, beautiful crimson hair, which she also inherited from her father, that reaches down to her thighs with a single hair strand (known in Japan as ahoge) sticking out from the top. Her hair also has loose bangs covering her forehead and side bangs framing her face. Rias' height is 172 cm (5 feet 8 inches).

   She became known as the Crimson-Haired Ruin Princess, because of the color of her hair and Power of Destruction. Rias also holds great sympathy towards Sairaorg and his mother Misla Bael for how badly they were treated by the Bael clan.

   Rias is proud of her family's name, but she does not like being seen as Rias of the Gremory Family. The reason for her living in the human world is because there, everyone sees her as Rias, not as a Devil or as the Crimson-Haired Ruin Princess. Due to this and the fact that the only men who showed interest in her were interested in her due to being the Heiress of the House of Gremory, Rias soured on the idea of finding a lover.

   Rias holds her older brother, Sirzechs, in high regard (despite her older brother's antics of being a siscon) because she deeply cares for him. When Rias was a child, she was entirely dependent on him and held him in admiration, while also feeling inferior to him at the same time.

   Due to being taught about Japan from Souji Okita, Rias is a complete Japanophile who is obsessed with Japan's culture and history, buying various Japanese souvenirs and being ecstatic while visiting Kyoto during her school field trip, though she became pouty and stomped at the train station due to being unable to fully explore Kyoto. She also founded a Japanology club after graduating from high school.

   Rias is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous body, white skin, blue eyes inherited from her father, Zeoticus, and a buxom figure.

   Her most distinctive feature is her long, beautiful crimson hair, which she also inherited from her father, that reaches down to her thighs with a single hair strand (known in Japan as ahoge) sticking out from the top. Her hair also has loose bangs covering her forehead and side bangs framing her face. Rias' height is 172 cm (5 feet 8 inches).

   ///Powers & Abilities

   Great Demonic Power: Like Sirzechs, Rias inherited exceptional demonic power from her parents and has great talent and skill in using it, even by the standards of a High-Class Devil. After Issei transferred power to her, her demonic power increased to where it rivaled an Ultimate-Class Devil, shaking the ground, and being able to mildly injure the Cadre Kokabiel. Azazel noted that even without training, Rias has the potential to become one of the highest class devils using natural talent. Rias has further improved her demonic power through dedicated training and eventually became an Ultimate Class Devil. She was capable of overpowering Ultimate-Class Devils wounded by Crom Cruach, and while in her Balor Princess Form could keep up with Fenrir at 80% percent power.

   Power of Destruction (滅ほろびの力ちから, Horobi no Chikara): A unique demonic power, which allows her to erase seemingly anything, such as matter, energy and even immaterial things such as souls. She would originally often release massive blasts to engulf and erase her targets, but Rias has improved her control over her Power of Destruction to the point of being able to compress it into softball-sized bullets and release them in quantities Kiba compared to a machine gun, which he noted that those without enough power would vanish from one of them.

   Flight: Being a Devil, Rias can fly using her wings.

   Healing: Rias is capable of healing others using her demonic power, and skilled enough that she can continue the process while asleep. It requires her embracing the injured person and both parties to be completely nude in skin to skin contact for better effectiveness, although it takes the better part of a night to take full effect. She has shown to be able to heal fatal wounds such as when Issei was struck by a Light Weapon.

   Expert Magician: Rias is adept in Devil Magic, using it for a variety of purposes enhanced by her demonic power, being one of the magic specialists of her peerage alongside Akeno.

   Defensive Magic: Rias can create several barriers to protect herself and her servant, such as from Katerea's self-destruction spell during the Three Factions Conference.

   Memory Manipulation: Rias has shown that she has skill in memory alteration, using it on Issei's parents.

   Summoning Magic: Rias is capable of summoning her bat-like familiar.

   Enhanced Durability: Rias has shown great tolerance to damage and pain, as she was going continuing to fight Regulus and remain in the Rating Game, though she was nearly defeated due to blood loss.

   Issei Hyoudou is a third-year high school student at Kuoh Academy in Class 3-B and a member of the school's Perverted Trio, a trio of the most perverted men in the entire student body. He is in love with Rias Gremory.

   Issei is the Pawn of Rias Gremory's Peerage and a member of the Occult Research Club. After the Evil Dragon War, he was promoted to the rank of a High-Class Devil, becoming the King of his own independent peerage, and is one step closer to fulfilling his dream of having a harem and becoming a "Harem King".

   Due to his possession of the Longinus; the Boosted Gear, which hosts the Welsh Dragon, Ddraig, Issei is the direct rival of Vali Lucifer, who is the host of the Vanishing Dragon; Albion, who is Ddraig's archrival.

   Race: Reincarnated Devil, Former Humanoid Dragon, Former Human

   Gender: Male

   Age: 17

   Issei is an average high school student with short, spiky brown hair, two short locks of hair behind his head, and light brown eyes. He gained a more muscular and toned build following his training with Tannin.

   While he has worn various outfits throughout the series, his most commonly worn outfit is the Kuoh Academy boys' school uniform, which consists of a blazer (more commonly black, although in other media is shown with a tinge of purple or grey, with white accents) over a white, long-sleeved dress shirt with black highlights with a black ribbon on the collar, matching black pants, and brown dress shoes.

   However, Issei's uniform differs in the fact that he wears a red T-shirt underneath his open dress shirt and blazer and wears blue (recently red) and white sneakers in place of dress shoes.

   Before fighting Riser in a rematch, Issei's left arm was transformed into a Dragon's arm, which needed a ritual performed regularly by Rias and Akeno to appear human. After his "death," he gained a new body through the efforts of Great Red and Ophis, now being able to transform parts of himself into a Dragon.

   He has been said to show manly expressions by his paternal grandmother. Issei's height is 170 cm (5 feet 7 inches), and body weight is 62→65 kg (137→140 lbs.).

   Even by his admittance, Issei is an unintelligent and straightforward individual, having extreme trouble grasping even simple concepts when they're explained step-by-step and repeatedly to him.

   Due to his tremendously perverted and lascivious nature being the greatest characteristic of his personality, Issei easily indulges in lewd fantasies, being obsessed with female breasts and a desire for a harem, traits he openly admits and makes no effort to hide, a characteristic that he is, in fact, proud of.

   This has caused him to be instantly labeled as a pervert among the girls of Kuoh Academy and has gained him notoriety for being one of the members of Kuoh Academy's Perverted Trio.

   Despite his outward personality being unpleasant to other characters, Issei is courageous, selfless, and unwaveringly determined to protect those who are important to him, despite almost dying by the hands of his opponents. Quite regularly, this bravery can be amplified by having the situation connected to his lustful interests, blowing away any trace of fear.

   As noted and pointed out by Koneko, although he is the weakest Red Dragon Emperor, Issei is the kindest among them, as unlike his predecessors, Issei is not power-hungry. This can be seen when he was the only one who did not succumb to the Boosted Gear's curse, not having been consumed by the hatred, the thirst for power and destruction that consumed all those who came before him.

   Due to his great kindness, Issei is also very caring, "putting his nose into other people's business" as he helped Yuuto Kiba, Koneko Toujou, and Akeno Himejima overcome their fears and hatred of their difficult pasts.

   Due to this, he gained strong friendships with his comrades and affection from most girls of the Occult Research Club, as well as a strong sense of friendship with higher-up Devils like Rias' family; they have told him to use the same titles for them as Rias (Father, Mother, Brother, etc.), yet he remains the same. Issei's kindness also has a positive influence on others, including former enemies. When Issei suggested to Cao Cao to use his True Longinus to help and protect people, Cao Cao acknowledged that had he and Siegfried met and befriend Issei earlier, they would not have ended up becoming terrorists in the Khaos Brigade.

   Another sign of his kind nature is that despite wanting to lose his virginity, Issei refuses to take advantage of women when they are upset, even if they are willing to. This happened when Akeno Himejima appeared in front of him naked and wanted to have sex to forget about her sad past and her father.

   However, Issei refused, knowing it would just hurt her more, and put her clothes back on and hugged her to comfort her.

   He has a habit (as mentioned by his mother) of not forgiving himself if he does something wrong: always saying sorry on instinct if said thing is mentioned, and showing an expression of pain and regret. He is also fiercely loyal to his comrades and is always willing to stand up for them.

   After his murder by Raynare, Issei had developed a fear of admitting his feelings to the girls in his life, as he thought it would cause them to reject him. This would also cause him to become oblivious to the feelings of the girls around him (save for Rias after his confession), often believing they are simply teasing him or even leading him on, as Raynare did. He acknowledged that this would never happen, but it was still an intense fear. Even when the girls of the Occult Research Club such as Akeno or Xenovia Quarta proposition him into making love to them, Issei would always initially hold himself back, as he would sometimes look at them with a frightened gaze, a fact which Akeno, Asia Argento and Koneko Toujou later noticed. His fears were finally brought to attention when Akeno, Asia, and Koneko confronted him alone and helped him by getting him to admit his feelings and assuring him that they would always love him and so would Rias.[6] This inspired him to finally confess his love for her, which she reciprocated, effectively helping Issei move past his fears.[7] Even with the knowledge that the girls do have romantic affection for him, he still has problems acknowledging some of their ongoing rivalries, an example being who gets to sit on his lap. Also, despite his otherwise intense lust and love, Issei seems to still share the "denseness" and "gutlessness" of the average shonen harem protagonist, and on an even higher level, with him constantly finding excuses not to give in to the girl's active attempts to seduce him for over a year, even claiming to have his mood ruined when another of the girls stumbles upon and attempts to join in on the attempt, and still being completely unable to recognize when another girl likes him.

   In reality, Issei has an innocent side; he is a boy who yearns for love and a true relationship, a side that he only shows to women who can see past his perverted exterior and love him for who he is and who he, in turn, has affections for. He shows this side to the girls of the Occult Research Club, for instance, on his date with Akeno or when Rias takes him out on dates.

   Before Issei's birth, his mother became pregnant twice, but the pregnancies ended in miscarriages. So when Issei's mother got pregnant for the third time, his father paced back and forth in front of a Shinto shrine, honestly wishing that this time they would succeed. When the newborn was finally born, he was named Issei, meaning "honesty", for his father's honest prayers.

   He is a childhood friend of Irina Shidou, and they would always play together back when she still lived in the neighborhood, although he thought she was a boy at the time as he vaguely remembers her. A few times, Issei was invited to go to church with her family. On occasions, they would stay over at each other's houses. On one of these visits, when Issei slept over at Irina's, she kissed him while he was sleeping. Eventually, Irina moved to England due to her father's job.

   Sometime during his childhood, Issei met an old man who told him and other children stories about breasts, which eventually led to Issei's fascination with them and his perverted tendencies.

   He attended the same middle school with Matsuda and Motohama, and the three of them started attending Kuoh Academy one year before the story where they have come to be known as the Perverted Trio to just about the entire school.

   High-Immense Demonic Power: Issei has all the powers common to Devils, but his was even lower than Devil children, leaving him unable to travel using magic circles. It can be enhanced through promotion to Bishop or Queen or by using his Sacred Gear. However, his training with Tannin afforded him sufficient enough Demonic Power to casually release Dragon Shots powerful enough to "erase" a mountain as well as able to use magic circles for teleportation. Due to continuously training his Demonic Power and his accumulated experience in intensively using it in combat, Issei's overall base Demonic Power has increased to the point of being at the level of a High-Class Devil. In his Crimson Armor, his Demonic Power is Satan-Class, and in his Diabolos Dragon God, it reached that of a Super Devil, able to overpower the Super Devil, Rizevim and ultimately the Heavenly Dragon-class Apophis, albeit while the latter had been injured in a previous battle and often expending vast amounts of demonic power to the point where he wouldn’t be able to fight further.

   Dragon Shot (魔力弾ドラゴンショット, Doragon Shotto): One of Issei's signature moves, where he releases a beam of concentrated Demonic Power. It is often used in tandem with Boosted Gear to increase its destructive potential, once blowing a hole through a mountain. When enhanced by the Boosted Gear Scale Mail, Issei's Dragon Shot became powerful enough to casually destroy a mountain without doubling the power, and when enraged, it overwhelmed a full powered Demonic Power blast by Diodora, a High Class Devil enhanced by Ophis's snake. He developed a small-scale version meant to knock out humans and lessen the damage done. Sirzechs' Destruction inspired him to redirect his Dragon Shots, thus controlling their path, which he used against Cao Cao, and the Jabberwocky.

   Dress Break (洋服崩壊ドレス・ブレイク, Doresu Bureiku): Issei's second signature move, which he mainly uses against women. As its name suggests, this move allows him to "strip" a woman by first coming into contact with them, concentrating his Demonic Power, then snapping his fingers to activate one of two effects. Ver. B (Body): This move is used to "strip" women by destroying their clothes and/or armor. Ver. A (Astral): This move is used to "strip" women by destroying the effects of spells or abilities that have been used against them.

   Pailingual (乳語翻訳パイリンガル, Pairingaru): Issei's third signature move, which allows him to "talk" to women's breasts after creating a "space". As such, it is a useful move as it allows him to learn his opponents' plans by asking their breasts, however, complaints from females from other peerages caused Rias to ban it in Rating Games. A drawback is that if a woman strips in front of him and informs him about her plans, it hinders Pailingual. In his D×D Form, it is powerful enough to cover an entire island and combined with Penetrate, it can talk to a powerful being's breasts.

   Pai-Phone (乳語電話パイフォン, Paifon): A variant of Pailingual, using women's breasts Issei can communicate through breasts to other women's breasts.

   Flame Blaze (火の息フレイムブレイズ, Fureimu Bureizu): Due to Tannin's training, Issei learned to breathe flames using Boosted Gear. First, he inhales, filling his lungs with air and producing a small flame in his stomach, then uses Boost and Transfer to enhance it, then breathes massive flames from his mouth. He can widen his dragon flame to the point that it can engulf the whole sky as shown in his battle against Cao Cao.

   Nyuutron Beam Cannon (超乳波動砲にゅうトロン・ビーム・キャノン, Niyuutoron Bīmu Kyanon): Issei's fourth signature move, which is the result of assistance from his grandfather and Guanyin, letting him attach his Scale Mail's tail onto a woman's breast to convert their Breast Power into Demonic Power with their bust size displayed on his gauntlet's jewel and determines how powerful the blast will be. By using Rossweisse's breasts, which are "96," along with the strengthening from Shaka (Gautama Buddha), he could launch an enormous pink blast comparable to Infinity Blaster, defeating the Strongest Grim Reaper, Thanatos.

   Summoning: Issei can summon his familiar, Ryuuteimaru.

   Dragon Aura: Due to Boosted Gear and having his left arm turned into a Dragon, Issei has two sources of dragon aura, the latter is focused on his arm. However, he lacked much control over it until Tannin's training and learning the Dragon's combat form which helped him deal minimal damage to the former Dragon King with a charged Dragon Shot, increasing while in Scale Mail, erasing Kuroka's spatial barrier and a mountain without needing to Boost it. After gaining a new body made from a combination of Great Red's flesh and Ophis' power, it became more natural, described as being dominant.

   Immense Strength: As a human, Issei only had average physical prowess. After being reincarnated as a devil, Issei gained enhanced physical strength. At first, he was still the weakest member of the Gremory Peerage, but after strict daily training under Rias' supervision and further training in the mountains and powering up using Boosted Gear, he was able to rival High-Class Devils and combat Riser's servants. During his battle with Vali, a copious number of Boosts and his intense rage amplified his physical might so much that the force of merely pointing at Vali uprooted and blew away surrounding trees while his shouting cleared the clouds from the sky. Tannin's training made it possible for him to disperse Kuroka's poison mist with the shockwave of a stopped punch after donning Scale Mail, and when augmented by his rage, he largely overwhelmed Diodora, who was empowered by Ophis's snake. Having awoken Illegal Move Triaina, and Crimson Armor, Azazel stated that Issei is exceptionally powerful among the younger generation of devils, even counting the Gremory peerage, with Issei believing he can battle Ultimate-Class Devils in his Queen form.[40] After losing his original body to Samael’s curse and being given a new Dragon body from Great Red, Issei’s base physical potential has been significantly increased to the point when dragonified, he can break past Defense Magic with one punch. From Sun Wukong's training, Issei grew strong enough to the point that Baraqiel admitted he couldn't defeat Issei in a straight fight. He fought against Dulio and Thanatos, the strongest among their particular groups, defeating the latter. After drinking Amrita, although barely doing so, he fought and bested Vidar, the current Chief-God of Asgard, who was wearing his own Dragon armor, using Pseudo DxD. Ddraig noted that his Crimson Armor reaches Satan-Class power, while Pseudo D×D can even fight Super Devil-class entities, defeating Rias using Balor Princess, whose power exceeds that of Satan-class Devils. He defeated Erebus, deflecting a blast that could have defeated 100 Devils, then Tartarus, while using A×A, which could destroy the world. He later overpowered Angra Mainyu by using True D×D, then Hades after teaming up with Vali and Team D×D, now being recognized as a Super Devil. He is acknowledged as the Strongest Red Emperor Dragon by Thanatos.

   Immense Durability: At first just as weak and vulnerable to attacks as a typical human, but by using a Rook promotion he was barely able to endure being pierced from light-based weapons, albeit needing to be healed afterward. During the Rating Game against Riser, Issei endured numerous strikes from Ni and Li, feeling pain all over his body, particularly his legs, continuing to fight before collapsing from exhaustion. When facing Riser again, now wearing temporary Scale Mail, he endured his Hellfire, which could burn even Dragons. When first facing Vali, he survived many of his attacks and demonic bullets despite the massive power gap between them at the time. During Tannin's training, he was forced to survive continuous assault from the former Dragon King, who possesses power rivaling Satan-Class Devils. In his Balance Breaker, he could casually endure all of Diodara Astaroth’s attacks, despite being enhanced by Ophis’ Snake. He was able to survive attacks from Fenrir, Loki’s son and one of the Top 10 Strongest Beings, but needed immediate attention and healing after almost collapsing. He later survived attacks from Loki himself, piercing his armor, but continuing to fight the Evil God alongside Vali. After being resurrected and gaining a new body from Great Red, Issei's overall durability significantly increased compared to his previous body, though he became more vulnerable to Dragon Slayer weapons such as Gram. His defenses are most aided from Promotion and different armors, all of which allowed him to withstand facing opponents, such as Sairaorg, Cao Cao, Grendel, and several others, as without it, Issei couldn't last long. Issei often mentions taking substantial damage and feeling intense pain even through his armor while continuing to fight with little to no apparent hindrance for it, such as when enduring Baraqiel's Holy Lightning. In his Diabolos Dragon, his durability seems to exceed Rizevim's, as he was able to shrug off the shockwave of their clashing special moves whereas Rizevim was severely injured by the backblast. In Pseudo DxD, Issei can withstand Vidar's attacks even when he is wearing his Ragnarok Aesir Berserk armor and even his Fimbulvetr Shot, the impact of which sent Issei crashing onto the artificial Yggdrasil.

   Flame Resistance: Because of his training, Issei has also developed a high degree of resistance to fire attacks, so that only particularly powerful flames, such as those of a Dragon or the Phenex Clan, can injure him.

   Immense Speed: Through constant intense training, from constantly running to dodging powerful attacks such as Tannin's flame breath, Issei has gained great speed, and using Promotion, Issei can further increase this speed. In his Balance Breaker state, he can use the booster to increase his speed even further, able to keep pace with Riser and Vali Lucifer on two separate occasions, much to the latter's surprise. Due to frequently sparring with Yuuto, Issei improved his mobility and reflexes to keep up in high-speed combat, able to dodge lightning from Rossweisse in his base state. When using Crimson Queen, Sun Wukong states that Issei is faster than Vali in his Balance Breaker, who can move at the speed of light. In his DxD armor, he was able to appear in front of Rizevim and strike him before he could react, although Lucifer's son was able to keep up with him after that. In his Pseudo-Diabolos Dragon form, he was easily able to keep up with Yuuto Kiba, until Kiba revealed his Drag Knight Boosters, and Vidar in his Ragnarök Berserk armor.

   Immense Stamina: Issei originally possessed the stamina and endurance of an average, untrained teenager, lasting a period of time having taken a fatal attack from Raynare, enough to unconsciously summon Rias using the leaflet. As a reincarnated Devil, his stamina improved, in particular, at night compared to the daytime, combined with his regular training allows him to fight for long periods while using the Boosted Gear, moving around and fighting during the Rating Game with Riser, managing to still remain standing after pushing himself to the limit.

   Dragonization (龍りゅう化か, Ryū-ka): Having sacrificed his left arm to Ddraig, it transformed into a dragon's arm, the limb becoming immune to the typical effects of blessed items on Devils. In becoming a Humanoid Dragon, having his new body made from Great Red's flesh, Issei can now transform any part of himself into a dragon, which strengthens him to the point he can fight against three Magicians and break their defensive magic using one punch even without Scale Mail[41] and can grow dragon wings on his back for flight, but he was swiftly reincarnated into a Devil once again, seemingly doing away with his draconic bodies resilience to Holy Power. Once the transformation happens, he needs the dragon power to be drained by others, such as by Rias or Akeno, for the transformed section to return to its human appearance.

   Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: At first, Issei was a novice brawler who charged in and used basic attacks before training with Kiba and Koneko in the mountains, letting him supplement attacks with Boosted Gear, with the gauntlet itself as a weapon, too, holding his own against Riser's three Pawns before fighting his Rook, a veteran fighter. When in his limited Scale Mail, Issei fought Riser in their second match, albeit needing a cross and holy water to have a chance.

   Expert Swordsman: Though Issei isn't as skilled as Kiba, Xenovia, or Irina in swordsmanship, he has learned the basics from Kiba, which has continuously been improved from regular training sessions. As such, he can wield Ascalon as an arm blade extension of his Boosted Gear, allowing him to cut off Cao Cao's arm in a surprise attack during their first fight in Kyoto. Issei could deflect strikes from the strongest Grim Reaper Thanatos's scythe using Ascalon, then fought Vidar using both it and Ascalon II. Issei develops a technique to shoot out his swords at his opponent, enhanced by using both Boost and Penetrate. Issei fiercely clashed with Kiba's superior swordsmanship with Gram, blocking its strikes with Ascalon. His skills have allowed him to wield all three Ascalon against Angra Mainyu, even using feints against him before stabbing him with his Tail Blade.

   Keen Intellect: Originally a poor student and untrained Devil, his constant training, lessons, and experience groomed him into an ingenious and intelligent combatant. Issei's creativity and imagination plays a part in his growth and original demonic powers, while letting him outsmart mature opponents who often underrate him. He picked up on and memorized lessons related to the Underworld and other factions, passing the Gremory Clan's Connection Ceremony, Middle-Class Promotion, and in rare moments he would be the rational moments when it came to misbeliefs about Ninjas. After becoming a Devil, Issei also started learning folklore and mythology, becoming knowledgeable in the occult, monsters, and supernatural beings.

   Expert Demonologist: Issei had extensively studied demonology, particularly on the Gremory Clan, including learning to read and write the Devil language as part of his duties as Rias' future husband. He could successfully pass the difficult written test about devils in the ruins of connection, such as correctly writing the names of all the 72 Pillars from memory—earning Ajuka's praise—as well as the Middle Class Devil promotion test.

   Survival Skills: Because of his training under Tannin, Issei has developed survival skills.

   Master Artisan: Issei is a highly talented sculptor, able to create a perfect statue of Rias Gremory with his eyes closed from memory, which impressed his teacher and his friends in the classroom. He is also skilled in sewing, as he sewed headbands for the entire Occult Research Club.

   Skilled Dancer: Due to being taught by Venelana Gremory, Issei became skilled in social dancing and was able to coordinate with Rias in dancing well enough to pass the dancing trial in the ruins of connection.

   Stealth: Issei has learned how to mask his presence from people.

   Flight: While Issei cannot still fly using his Devil wings, Issei, being a former Dragon, can fly using his Dragon wings.

   Boosted Gear (赤龍帝の籠手ブーステッド･ギア, Būsuteddo Gia): Issei's Sacred Gear and main weapon, among all the original 13 Longinus, which holds the Welsh Dragon, Ddraig's soul, being ranked as a Mid-Tier Longinus. A left-handed red gauntlet that doubles his powers every 10 seconds until he reaches his limit, holding the potential to kill a God if mastered. He later gained the ability to Transfer the multiplied power into a person or item, even parts like his eyes for enhanced vision. Issei later awakened Penetrate, letting him bypass all defenses (save the target's baseline physical durability) like Rizevim's Sacred Gear Canceler or barriers. He later developed a technique of applying Penetrate to his eyes to see through women's clothing.

   Boosted Gear: Scale Mail (赤龍帝の鎧ブーステッド・ギア・スケイルメイル, Būsuteddo Gia: Sukeiru Meiru): Boosted Gear's Balance Breaker creates a red dragon armor, which became his main combat form. Issei activated an imperfect version twice; the first time via a sacrifice lasting 10 sec; then again using a bracelet from Azazel, lasting 15 min. He achieved a perfected one from Tannin's training, but reached it from poking Rias' breasts to trigger it. In Scale Mail, Issei is strengthened to the point of erasing a mountain and Kuroka's spatial barrier using a basic blast, and can use Boost without the limiter. At first, he could use his boosters for enhanced speed and temp. flight, then gained retractable wings after using Juggernaut Drive, as well as using the Pteranodon-like claws as arms.

   Dividing Gear (白龍皇の籠手ディバイディング・ギア, Dibaidingu Gia): The Boosted Gear version of Divine Dividing, caused from Issei installing one of its jewels into the right gauntlet during the initial battle against Vali. A white gauntlet, different from the red, granting him Albion's division and absorption powers. However, use of this reduces Issei's lifespan because of the Heavenly Dragons' contradicting natures, being banned by Azazel. However, after Ddraig and Albion reconciled with one another, thus granting access to the Dividing Wyvern Faries, Dividing Gear became unusable.

   Juggernaut Drive (覇龍ジャガーノート・ドライヴ, Jagānōto Doraivu): A form unique to Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing, which releases the seals placed on the Heavenly Dragons temporarily granting the user immense power rivaling God, however, at the cost of his sanity and lifespan. Issei indirectly activates an incomplete Juggernaut Drive after believing that Asia was killed by Shalba, with his negative emotions overpowering him, thus triggering its activation. In this state, his Scale Mail becomes more organic, appearing like a miniature dragon, creating dragon arms and blades from the gems. Issei's immense power and speed allowed him to completely overpower Shalba Beelzebub, whose power had been elevated to Satan-Class thanks to Ophis’ Snake, with movements being almost impossible to follow.

   Longinus Smasher (ロンギヌス・スマッシャー, Ronginusu Sumasshā): It is a finishing move and one of his most powerful attacks, which opens a hidden launcher on his chest before releasing an enormous amount of destructive power. Ddraig described it as a forbidden power he shouldn't have, which can change the environment. If shot on land, then the entire area would vanish, and if shot in the air, the aura will dye the sky red.

   Keys: Sacred, Gears

   Sacred Gears (神器セイクリッド・ギア, Seikuriddo Gia), also known as God's Artifacts (神器, Jingi), are items with powerful abilities bestowed upon Humans and Human hybrids by God of the Bible. The God of the Bible created the Sacred Gears to give strength and future possibilities to the Humans, that interacts amongst the supernatural beings and Gods and Buddhas.

   Sacred Gears vary in appearance and abilities throughout human history, publicly divided between Longinus Sacred Gears, Artificial Sacred Gears, Sub-Species Sacred Gears and Common Sacred Gears.

   The original God of the Bible created the Sacred Gears as part of his system to enact miracles on Earth. Yuuto Kiba has stated that certain individuals with Sacred Gears have grown to become very powerful and influential, and that a large number of the people who've had their names etched into history, were most likely Sacred Gear possessors.

   Sacred Gears varies from the common Twice Critical to the rare Sacred Gear Twilight Healing, with the only exception being the Longinus, which are all unique in their own way. There can be more than one Sacred Gear of the same type such as Blade Blacksmith. If a Sacred Gear is removed from the owner, they would die.

   Humans or Human hybrids are the only species able to be born with Sacred Gears; however, they still maintain them upon their reincarnation into Devils and Angels, and it's shown by Rudiger's son that the children of former Humans still have the chance to inherit one. The Fallen Angels from Grigori also devised a ritual able to extract a Sacred Gear from the original owner and use it for themselves; this used to result in the death of the original owner, but further development since the alliance has rectified this limit. Reginleif, a Valkyrie could be born with a Sacred Gear due to being a half-God.

   It is possible for a person to own more than one Sacred Gear at the same time. However, this almost always happens because the individual comes to a second or even more Sacred Gear through irregular circumstances than through birth. As an example: Yuuto Kiba obtained his second Sacred Gear, Blade Blacksmith, from the Holy Element he received from Valper Galilei. Inside the Holy Element, was the soul of one of his former comrades who originally owned this Sacred Gear, allowing him to pass it on to Yuuto. Another case is Mitsuya Kanzaki, who isn't the original owner of Telos Karma nor Innovate Clear, but instead uses a special terminal to wield them. As there have not been any individuals in the series who have been born with multiple Sacred Gears, it may even be possible that people are always born with a single Sacred Gear.

9. #9Occult Clubconstant

   Keys: Club, Research, Occult

   The Occult Research Club (オカルト研究部 Okaruto Kenkyū-bu) is an activity club in Kuoh Academy.

   The Occult Research Club of Kuoh Academy was originally abolished due to a lack of members. Upon their entry into high school, Rias and Akeno revived the club as the president and vice-president, eventually changing it into the home base for Rias and her servants.

   The club itself serves as a front for Rias' servants, and other supernatural individuals who appear later, in order to get out of school activities or lessons in case of an emergency, such as having to hunt down a Stray Devil or to destroy a Fallen Angel.

   The abandoned dormitory was secured through the school's resources and is used as a base that prevents scrutiny from other students.
