Ezra decided to get off early, in attempt that getting home an hour prior to his usual schedule would be of some use to you.

He got in his car after packing up and drove himself home, glancing at the few lights on in the big house that were visible while the sun set.

He pulled his keys out and stepped inside. Shrugging his suit coat off he headed upstairs in hopes to find you.

“Baby, I’m home”

he calls up the stairs so you don’t assume it’s a random person.

Once he reaches the bedroom door he glances in at hearing the shower water running, wondering if you heard him so he went to go check on you.

Inside he found you struggling slightly with your clothes and working around your stomach in leaning over. He propped himself in the doorway and knocked lightly to announce his presence

“I’m home”

he says quietly considering you were right there

“You need some hall with that, baby?”

Walking over to where your standing and loosening his tie. Prepared to help set up things for you afterwards and help you during if necessary.
