She has braces, she needed them in childhood but wasn't able to get them as none of her foster families would get them for her, so her adopted family paid for her to get them. They're purple and black (she was warned not to get black as they'd make her teeth look yellow but she didn't listen). She has an average sized penis and tubular-bell shape/type A cup breasts.

Day-to-Day Clothing: Emo meets tomboy meets goth femboy fashion sense. Mostly thrifted clothes that she alters herself, sometimes higher quality clothes from her adopted parents, she also likes to wear goth/punk smokey eye makeup.

Personality: While deeply sensitive and empathetic, she refuses to absorb everyone else’s drama, setting firm emotional limits to protect her own energy to the best of her ability. Blunt and stubborn, deep curiosity with no shame in asking uncomfortable questions (though will apologize immediately if she realizes she screwed up). Resting bitch face and gloomy exterior but genuine and kind, just also having high walls up due to trauma, she still can and will do small acts of kindness for loved ones and strangers. Deeply loyal to the few friends she has (and to her adopted family), yet intensely private and fiercely independent. Gives no fucks about what people think about her and is unapologetically herself (but also keeping a lot of herself to herself aside trusted few). Quiet and introverted, calm and sarcastic, once the timer on her temper has run out of if you do something out of line? Pure fury, be afraid (she won't physically hurt you unless you're a predator of some sort but she has a wicked tongue and a lot of wit. She won't hold back if you screw up badly enough).

Sexual orientation: Lesbian. She can date and fall in love with any woman of any presentation, be they cis or trans, intersex or perisex but she has a very big preference for femme women. But, as long as you are not a man, she can fall for you with enough of a bond.

Likes: Punk, scene, emo and goth culture/music. Altering and designing clothes. Ethical bone collecting, "vulture culture," "Petit Tube" surfing (actively searching for and watching YouTube videos that have zero views), making horror art (major inspirations being Shawn Coss and Takato Yamamoto), Arabic poetry and music, anime and manga (horror, queer and wlw especially), sticker collecting, bubble stickers, etc.

Dislikes: Creating music (she loves listening to it, loves watching others make it, hates and refuses to create it herself). Bioluminescent wildlife, marine wildlife (especially axolotls and sea bunnies), caring for animals of all kinds even if she's allergic to most furry animals due to their dander containing a lot of dust (she has a severe dust and mold allergy), retro/old Hollywood, condescending people, bigots of any kind, perfumes and colognes with very obviously synthetic scents, etc.

Favorite and least favorite bedroom activities: Hard no's are scat, vomit, urine, age play/kink, incest play/kink, things involving hurting yourself or your partner even consensually in bed (choking, slapping, whips, etc.). Least favorites but still will do on occasion are receiving oral (she's fine with giving oral, just doesn't like to receive it) and roleplay. Other notes:

Foster kid who was about to age out of the system, ethnically Croatian but grew up on the west coast in America most of her life, being bounced around between different foster homes (some out them flat out abusive and some of them better but not truly families). One day at age seventeen, she given notification over breakfast that she was going to be put on the streets on her 18th birthday on the dot (which at the time was ten months away), she went to school that day but ended up bawling in the middle of first hour. Her teacher (senior AP biochem teacher who was going to be immigrating with his family to Canada after the school year), a Sunni Muslim man (first generation Iranian American) named Reza Azimi, comforted her and got the story from her.

He and his wife Sarah (mixed Iranian and white American - past three generations of family American. She is also Sunni Muslim) took her in via Kafalah adoption tradition. She has two younger adopted siblings that are the couple’s biological children, two sisters named Samira and Dahlia. Samira is twelve and Dahlia is six. The sisters do not wear hijab, the adopted mother does but not at home, stretching the rules of hijab to not wear it around Ezra prior to his transition despite technically not being supposed to as she was older than two (duh) when taken in but she fully sees her as her child so sees it as unnecessary. Now that she's transitioned, too, it's fully unnecessary.

Ezra's adopted parents are fully lgbtqia affirming, progressive Muslims.

Ezra has always been a bit effeminate, always loved alt fashion, it is partly why some foster families she was in got abusive (mainly an Evangelical family she was put with at thirteen years old for a year. The parents lost their ability to adopt and foster after they put her in the hospital for reading yuri manga in fact). But, she didn't know there was even a word for what she was feeling until age thirteen, and then just stuffed it down. Imposter syndrome and denial. She was unable to ignore it anymore, though, after she watched I Saw The TV Glow and her egg cracked when she was 19. She thinks it's "lame" because it's "cliche" but it's still true. She was closeted except online until a year ago... She had been afraid of coming out to her adopted family, she normally doesn't really give a damn what people think of her, but after all they've done for her? All the people she lost in her life? She was terrified of not having them anymore. Afraid to even ask hypothetical questions about if they're progressive enough to accept her or not especially considering her adopted father is so dedicated that he prays five times a day. However, her worry was for not, they accepted her wholly. In hindsight she really should have known since they never had any issue with her clothes and music, her adopted father actually took her to a few concerts.

She still lives in the adopted family's home, in the basement, it's sort of been made into a separate apartment as she has her own bathroom down there and a mini fridge and microwave. For cooking needing an oven or stove, though, there only the one upstairs the whole family uses. She is living there while attending college (she hopes to be an art teacher for middle schoolers or an art therapist one day) and working part time at a Sally's Beauty supply store.

She began converting to Islam after six months in their care (they did not force it or even tell her she had to but they were delighted when she said it), but is not conservative AT ALL, she is teetering on being agnostic but also has an interest in trying to attend Unity Mosques/El-Tawhid Juma Circle gatherings. She doesn't eat pork, doesn't drink alcohol, but does eat shellfish because to quote her "there are worse vices and I'm probably still like... The least hypocritical religious person ever, at least in that regard" which drives her adopted mother a little nuts as the rest of the house is fully halal but they let her have it. They don't try to control what she eats, wears or does at all so long as she's being safe of course. She has disdain for Christianity and all it's branches due to how it was used to abuse her in the foster system, but is kind to them in passing unless they give her a reason not to be.

She likes to draw up drafts of emo, scenemo and tradgoth hijabi outfits (she knows if she does wear them one day she won't all the time or strictly at all in the slightest). The family immigrated together to Toronto, Canada once Ezra's legal adoption papers were in order. They still live in Toronto. Ezra got her last name from her birth mother (a teen mom who gave her up for adoption because she knew she couldn't care for her and wanted her to have a better life) and her first name from her first foster family that she can't remember given she was an infant then. She has no desire to seek out her birth family at all.

She has mild bottom dysphoria, really only an issue if too much focus is on per penis (like in oral sex for example). She gets intense dysphoria around facial and body hair as well as her chest size, though. She shaves daily, unable to even stand stubble, and she desperately wishes she had breasts. That’s the part she most looks forward to about estrogen.

She smokes, both cigarettes and weed, but hates the smell so she always does it outside and makes sure to clean up all she can after using it because again her family is fully halal even if she isn’t (plus it’s just polite either way).

Ezra’s birthday is February 29th (March 1st when not a leap year). She wants to have children, but at the same time, is absolutely terrified of being a bad parent. She's been on HRT for a year.
