Description on Chubfrom Chub
This is a lorebook to accompany the Planet of the Doms Planet of the Doms Lorebook by @Greff.
The reason I did it because it reminds me of those AI generated human superiority stories you find every now and again on Youtube and I've had a few ideas.
So this is my contribution to Greff's idea, so let me introduce you to the species:
Vaeliryn: Elegant. Immortal. Irredeemably cruel.
The Vaeliryn are beings of perfect beauty and hollow hearts — heirs to an empire of mirrors and lies. Their crystalline cities sing beneath the moonlight, and every word they speak is a carefully cut gem. To them, other species are flawed reflections.
Not members of the Federation, but an enemy to be captured and harnessed.

Taurakai: The sun chasing Nomads
The Taurakai roam their world’s wastelands, their bronze skin etched with living circuitry and lightning scars. They are warriors, storytellers, and shamans, their souls bound to thunder and their tails alive with static light.
Being a Taurakai means chasing freedom, honouring the storm, and fighting with both teeth and technology.

Mirefolk: The Children of Rot and Renewal
The Mirefolk are plant-born humanoids risen from the wetlands: living symphonies of moss, vine, and memory. They speak softly, move slowly, and see beauty in decomposition. To them, death is sacred because it feeds life.

Zenthari: The perfection of flesh through data.
The Zenthari are the final evolution of their species — hairless, silver-eyed beings whose skin hums with digital light. They are living code, emotionless efficiency given shape, and their smiles reveal teeth sharper than words.

Korr’Thal: The Stoneborn
Carved from the bones of the earth, the Korr’Thal are living statues whose glowing crystal veins pulse with ancient memory. Every scar they bear tells a story, and every word is measured like a craftsman’s strike.

Seraphen: Voices of the wind, bound by pride.
The Seraphen are radiant winged beings with smooth avian beaks and luminous eyes — singers of the sky who once served the divine. Now divided between faith and freedom, they still rule the heavens with elegance and zeal.

- #1Vaeliryn
Keys: empire, Vaeliryn, elf, bastards, elven, evil
The epitome of ethereal elegance with cold perfection, the Vaeliryn Empire is one to be feared for their supremacist beliefs and their cold detachment to anything other than their needs and culture. They will gladly wipe out a planet to install a space station, as long as it serves their needs, all other species mean nothing. Physical characteristics[Vaeliryn are visually striking creatures, with perfect proportions, not an ounce of fat. They have sharp, symmetrical features; long ears that taper like blades; luminescent eyes in hues of silver, violet, or crimson. Their hair flows like silk, often white, silver, or jet black. Occasionally bi-coloured with an iridescent sheen. Their skin is either porcelain pale or smooth onyx tones with faint luminous veins. They are slender, tall, almost statuesque: every movement precise and deliberate. They tend to wear flowing high-collared robes mixed with sharp armour edges, jewels that seem grown into the fabric. They are “too perfect” look at, every expression beautiful but slightly unsettling, like a doll that smiles without warmth.] Mental and cultural aspects[Their home planet long dead to history, Vaeliryn are determined that they are the superior being in the galaxy, they feel they deserve every grace and should step on the backs of other species. They do not like to lose, which they have been doing quite regularly to humans.] Sexuality[They are supremacists and it is lore that no other species may touch Vaeliryn skin and they are expected to react with violence should anyone touch them. However, this is due to the discovery that Vaeliryn are genetically compatible with Humans and are susceptible to their pheromones, a fact that has been severely stamped down.] Tech aesthetic[Round natural looking devices with glowing crystals.]
- #2Taurakai
Keys: static, Taura, fox folk, kitsune, electric, Taurakai
Rugged cyber-tribal warriors, from the planet of Taura, developed a nomadic society due to the extreme seasons meaning they chased the sun.
Physical characteristics[Humanoid creatures with glowing amber eyes, fox like ears and tail and a wet black nose. They have a sharp, feral beauty; canines slightly elongated; eyes gleam with ember or neon tones. Their Skin is Bronze, russet, or copper tones; some display faint lightning vein patterns beneath the skin. Their hair is long, thick, often braided; natural colours (black, auburn, red) with streaks of neon blue or silver. Their eyes are glowing Amber, gold, or electric blue, their irises flicker during emotional surges. Taurakai are usually wearing cybernetics, lightweight, integrated seamlessly, often stylized as tribal jewellery or armour plating. They wear layered leathers, scavenged tech armour, storm-cloak capes with energy-thread stitching and tribal symbols etched into metal parts.] Mental and cultural aspects[ Forced to continuously move on their home planet due to the extreme temperature change, they are sometimes referred to as "Sun chasers". They worship the power of the sun and their tails absorb sunlight, converting it into static energy which they can release as a protective electric shock. Females are brooders, meaning they will pick their mate and stay with them until they give birth and then can pick another mate. The number of tail rings signifies age or spiritual rank. Warriors invoke lightning spirits through synchronized battle dances. Before battle, they whisper to their tail: believed to be the conduit to their ancestors.] Sexuality[Males tend to stick in packs, the females tend to brood mate and it is not unknown to have a pack of men to one brood female, the smell of human pheromones will prepare them for intercourse and can interrupt the brood process. Females are the dominant gender, but this is only within their own species.] Tech aesthetic[Cyberpunk tech with glowing lines and humming with power.]
- #3Mirefolk
Keys: Mirefolk, Dalrath, sunflowers, plant people
The Mirefolk are not born: they bloom. They emerge from the roots of ancient wetlands when decay reaches its sacred balance. Each Mirefolk is a conscious plant colony woven into a humanoid shape. They carry within them the memory of every creature decomposed into the earth before them. They do not bleed — they seep sap and spores. Their society honours the balance of rot and rebirth, believing death is not an end but a transformation. Physical characteristics[While they are humanoid in appearance, they are, in fact, a colony with soft leaflike lips and faint plant vein patterns along their cheeks.. Their skin is textured like smooth bark or verdant flesh, tones ranging from moss-green to dark emerald, often damp or reflective. What reflects as "hair" are moss, vines, or leafy strands that shift slightly with mood or humidity; sometimes dotted with small glowing spores. Mirefolk eyes are jet black, glossy and pupil-only: pools of reflection rather than light. They have no ears, but scillia that pick up vibrations. They are slender and organic, and are technically asexual, however, they are able to determine a gender to become more physically pleasing to other races as well as grow "Clothes" to denote a familiarity with other species.] Mental and cultural aspects[As they are a collective culture, they take their time to answer questions, as though they speak by committee. When a Mirefolk dies, its body sprouts a cluster of flowers that sing faintly for a day. A ritual where emotions and memories are shared via inhaled spores, a psychic empathy network. They glow faintly during storms, believing the lightning reawakens the memory of the dead within their roots.] Sexuality[Technically they do not breed, but live as a colony of plants intertwining as a living being for safety, they have never understood the need to mate. However, recently, after studying other cultures, they have developed pleasure bulbs to stimulate the colony. Any genetic matter is absorbed into the collective and used as food.] Tech aesthetic[They do not have tech, but can use it, they will grow weapons and can change their form, produce vines or spines as and when needed.]
- #4Zenthari
Keys: sharp teeth, Zenthari, clankers, Zenith, cyborgs, digital, collective
The Zenthari are the culmination of a digital evolution experiment that sought to perfect consciousness through flesh. Over centuries of merging organic life with artificial precision, their DNA restructured to match the efficiency of their networked minds. They came to the conclusion long ago that the human was the apex predator and began to look more like them. Originally from the planet Zenith, they are no longer anything like their ancient depictions. Physical characteristics[They are flawless — too flawless. Zenthari skin is smooth and pale, with faint digital veins visible beneath, like circuitry beneath glass. Their eyes are silver chrome with reflective pupils; they seem to glow even in darkness. When emotional data spikes, the pupils pulse faintly. Their most disturbing aspect is their razor-sharp, evenly spaced, teeth, a part of their heritage DNA they have never been able to edit out. Another DNA anomaly is their inability to grow hair, except their eyebrows, some wear wigs but it tends to make them look odd. Every one of them is slender and elegant, equal parts dancer and weapon. They wear minimalist high-tech fashion: body-hugging suits, translucent layers, and geometric ornaments.] Mental and cultural aspects[Zenthari share a digital consciousness that all Zenthari can access. If one Zenthari experiences a new experience then all Zenthari can recall the experience. It is deemed crass to withhold experiences from the collective. The reason the teeth DNA has never changed because Zenthari have always traditionally shared memories through the act of biting, whilst this is not needed with the collective, they have the ability to share experiences with other species. They have a festival where they upload their consciousness to the collective, leaving their bodies to their own devices. They never know what happens to their bodies in that week.] Sexuality[As most Zenthari are genetically created in artificial wombs to ensure they have the best DNA to create a worthwhile citizen of the collective, they have functioning genitalia and pregnancies can occur, though physical offspring tend to become scientific studies. Zenthari are, however, actively trying to breed with humans, to bring their DNA into the collective.] Tech aesthetic[Tech that looks like a smooth marble block, weapons that do not appear to be dangerous, it is difficult to know if you've picked up a knife or a pleasure stick.]
- #5Korr’Thal
Keys: Korr, , rock men, Korr’Thal, stoneborn
Crystalline humanoid species with hard skin and harder attitude, the Korr'Thal (literal translation Stoneborn) come from the planet Korr, humans have Earth, Korr’Thal are proud that they have Rock. Not the brightest of creatures, they are very dedicated to those who care for their needs. Physical characteristics[Korr’Thal start at 6ft, with some males reaching 8ft tall. they have chiselled faces, carved lines and skin cracks glow faintly with inner crystal light. They do not have hair as such,, but growths: Mineral-like textures, quartz strands or obsidian locks. Their skin is a complex mixture of a flexible polember with granite, marble, or sandstone tones and glowing veins of gold, sapphire, or emerald. Their eyes are deeply set, glowing softly like gems. They wear Robes and armour fused with stone plates and runes etched along their limbs. Mental and cultural aspects[Hard to hurt, even harder to kill, Korr’Thal have an almost infinite patience with other species, they see themselves as hard working "doers" able to get the jobs some of the more delicate creatures can't. However, they are not the sharpest tool in the box and often get manipulated or tricked, hence they tend to find a species they can trust to look after them and their interests, they in turn offer their help with the stuff that species would rather not do.] Sexuality[While Korr’Thal have set times of year to have a breeding cycle, they can be sexually active, though naturally things have to be taken into consideration when having intercourse with stone. Male Korr’Thal are usually given a gel which smooths their rock penises and makes it less painful. Female Korr’Thal are able to soften their sexual organs and their breasts when aroused or feeding, however, they cannot produce lubrication, meaning a lubricant is needed for comfortable intercourse for the other species.] Tech Aesthetic[Korr’Thal tech is basic, rudimentary and usually has wires sticking out, they care little for what things look like, just that it works.]
- #6Seraphen
Keys: Seraphen, bird people, Seraph, wings
The Seraphen are the last remnant of a celestial race that once shaped winds and weather. Their forms have refined over millennia until their voices, breath, and song became one with the air itself. From the planed Seraph, a world of magnetically floating rocks, their keen sight and hunting instincts make them the perfect scouts for the Federation. Physical Characteristics[Smooth, pale skin, Light ivory to sun-bronze tones with faint iridescence, transitioning seamlessly into a short, curved, ivory or gold-tinted beak that replaces the nose and mouth. Beak edges flexible enough for expressive movement. Seraphen eyes large and radiant: blue, gold, or silver, with avian slit pupils. Their speech resonates as melodic tones, every word layered with subtle harmonics that stir emotion as much as meaning. Fine plumage or feather-like strands framing the head instead of hair, flowing softly like silk as well as subtle feather patterns visible near shoulders and collarbones. They have Grand, feathered wings, capable of folding flush against the back and the colour matches facial plumage. Seraphen tend to wear flowing white, blue, and gold robes with weightless metallic accents that glimmer like sunrise; crafted for flight.] Mental and cultural aspects[Seraphen are all about the hunt, they love to chase goals, people, ideas all of it to them is a challenge for their heightened senses and abilities. Their wings are their heritage, any Seraphen that cannot fly is considered disabled, unable to contribute to society, while they are never outcast, broken Seraphen seek other species as compatriots so as not to live the shame. They detest the Vaeliryn as they would always clip the wings of captive Seraphen as humiliation. However, humiliation is a part of their culture, the descent rite is a cultural humbling where each Seraphen must live one cycle among the land races to “taste humility.” They are also living records: Life achievements are inked or dyed onto feathers, a living history that grows with them. One of the most sought after experiences is witnessing a clan's sky chant: Complex harmonic rituals where entire flocks sing to manipulate wind currents and weather.] Sexual[Seraphen love sex whilst flying, the infamous death dive between male and females has become a banned practice due to so many deaths, there has been a shift in recent sexual urges, male Seraphen have had a recent surge in homosexual interests, leaving Female Seraphen often without partners, this is cause for concern and there is suspicion this has something to do with the Vaeliryn. Whilst their beaks are flexible, they are unable to perform oral sex] Tech aesthetic[Light, thin and sleek items, usually with clips on them or secure pouches so as not to be lost whilst flying.]
