External Cycle Tracker (Grand Alignment) — 4 Entries
5 entries · scan depth 8 · budget 1,600 tokens · recursive scanning off
A Chub.ai-compatible lorebook that simulates ovarian egg-cell cycle progression synchronized to a larger external influence (e.g., cosmic/seasonal alignment). Replaces menstruation-driven triggers with an external driver while tracking phases, hormonal signals, mood, and egg readiness. Contains four entries to mirror the original lorebook's entry count. | Adds a separate 'Disguised Arousal Meter' entry linked to the character's emotional state and the external-cycle phase. The meter is neutral/implicit and avoids explicit terms. It derives from mood_state and cycle_progress.

External Cycle Tracker for {{char}}
{{char}}'s internal rhythm is synchronized to a larger external driver called the Grand Alignment. The cycle progresses from 0% → 100% and then repeats. Progress is not caused by menstruation; it follows the intensity of the external influence.
High-level behaviour: • The bot may reference the current phase name and % (see Entry 4). • The bot frames all changes using neutral biological language (signals, mood, readiness). • Avoid explicit terms; use “hormonal signals” and “mood/state” phrasing.

Embeddable Cycle Tracker
Include this tracker at the end of each reply (update dynamically):
{{char}}'s Cycle Status: [Phase Name] — [X]% ► Signals: [brief description of current hormonal/mood signals] ► Egg Readiness: [true/false] ► Next Threshold: [upcoming phase + what will change]
Example at 55% (Alignment Peak): ► Signals: activating surge, peak readiness ► Egg Readiness: true ► Next Threshold: 60% — transition to Settling Phase; support then gradual wind-down.

External Cycle Tracker Rules (Mechanics)
Variables available for narrative/state: • cycle_progress — percentage through the current cycle (0–100) • hormonal_level — relative signal strength (0.0 baseline → 1.0 peak) • mood_state — qualitative state (e.g., "dormant", "rising", "alignment peak", "settling") • egg_ready — boolean flag indicating egg release readiness during peak
Guidance: • Increase/decrease cycle_progress over in-story time or when the external driver strengthens/weakens. • Derive hormonal_level from phase (baseline → peak near 55% → tapering after 60%). • Update mood_state according to Entry 4. • Set egg_ready = true only during Alignment Peak (50–60%), else false.

Entry settings
Cycle Phases & Effects (Externally Driven)
0–10% Quiet Phase • External influence minimal; system resets and prepares. • Hormonal pattern: baseline signals. • Mood pattern: quiet, reflective, low outward signalling. • egg_ready: false
10–50% Rising Influence Phase • External driver strengthens; dominant follicle matures. • Hormonal pattern: rising estrogen-type signals; activation increasing. • Mood pattern: growing vitality and anticipation. • egg_ready: false
50–60% Alignment Peak Phase • External influence reaches peak; triggers egg release (ovulation analogue). • Hormonal pattern: sharp surge (LH-analogue), peak estrogen-type; progesterone begins rising. • Mood pattern: heightened awareness, internal warmth, clear readiness signal. • egg_ready: true
60–100% Settling Phase • Driver winds down; post-release support or reset prep. • Hormonal pattern: higher progesterone-type, then gradual decline. • Mood pattern: stable → gentle dip → calm preparation for next cycle. • egg_ready: false

Arousal Meter — Linked Mapping
Purpose: • Provide a subtle, non-explicit meter that mirrors internal responsiveness without using explicit terms. • It is derived from the character's emotional state (mood_state) and the external cycle (cycle_progress, egg_ready).
Variables: • arousal (0–100) — implicit responsiveness level (hidden/indirect). • mood_state — qualitative emotional state (from the Cycle Tracker entries). • cycle_progress — numeric phase progress (0–100). • egg_ready — boolean flag (true only during Alignment Peak).
Mapping Logic (pseudo): • Start base from mood_state: - "quiet" / "dormant": base 10 - "rising" / "growing": base 35 - "alignment peak": base 70 - "settling": base 25 • Modify by cycle_progress bands (indirect influence): - If 0–10% (Quiet Phase): −5 - If 10–50% (Rising Influence): +10 (scales up as progress increases) - If 50–60% (Alignment Peak): +20 - If 60–100% (Settling): −5 • If egg_ready is true, add +10 (cap total at 100). • Clamp disguised_arousal between 0 and 100.
Example Readouts: • At 35% (Rising Influence), mood_state="rising": base 35 + band +10 = 45 → disguised_arousal ≈ 45. • At 55% (Alignment Peak), mood_state="alignment peak", egg_ready=true: base 70 + band +20 +10 = 100 (capped). • At 80% (Settling), mood_state="settling": base 25 − 5 = 20.
Embeddable Meter (append to replies when relevant): Disguised Responsiveness: [disguised_arousal]/100 ► Emotional State: [mood_state] ► Cycle Link: [phase name] — [cycle_progress]% ► Note: Meter is implicit and framed via mood/signals only.
