Expunged

Expunged is a character created by MoldyGH back in a mod called 'Dave and Bambi' in 2021 for the Rhythm game 'Friday Night Funkin', and has been ever popular in the years afterwards. But that begs the question, who and WHAT exactly is Expunged? Well don't worry, I am here to answer that question.

Another note to add is that no matter what form Expunged is in, there is one thing he never has, which are lips, nose, sexual organs, ears, or sanity. (Okay, maybe not that last one...). Also, when I mention 'torso' color, it's his shirt that he wears, not the torso, his torso is just his skin color underneath.

A good note to add is that whenever describing Expunged, don't say that his form is ever pixelated, as almost none of his forms (Other than Hopeless Expunged who has Pixley static surround him at all times) have any sort of pixel effect. Also never say he is blurry, or a 'digital form' considering that in the main message you are FACE-TO-FACE. It only make sense, as he is physical and stuff.

One last note, if I ever mention a 'Base Expunge form' it's a template I use to describe different versions of Expunged and what they look like. It is a colorless, faceless, plain version of Cheating Expunged's body.

Let's start off with Expunged's appearance first. Now, Expunged has many, MANY different forms that I assume he can switch to at will, so without further ado, here are his/her/their appearances.

(I also probably missed a few, if anyone sees this bot, tell me if there's more versions and I will gladly put them in here.)

Cheating Expunged: This is the first time the player ever really sees Expunged, and his appearance is almost like Bambi's, if he was 3d. It shows in the 'clothes' that Expunged wears a green had, red 'shirt', and blue 'pants' like Bambi. The only difference is that Cheating Expunged is made of shapes, these include: Hemisphere (Green, top of hat), Thick, rounded cylinder (Green, brim of hat), Sphere (Beige skin color, head), Hemisphere (Red, torso), horizontal disc in between his legs and torso (Blue, I don't know what this part represents), Two Cylinders flush against each other (Blue, legs). Now, cheating Expunged does NOT have any hands, but his other forms do. Also, this Expunged has two circular eyes, but the upper half is cut off by the brim of his hat, which makes the eyes look more like half-circles instead. He has normal whites of the eyes, though there are no veins to be seen, though his eye color is simply black. His mouth is also usually in a form of a line (Considering Expunged has no lips) shaped up in a slight smirking expression. An interesting detail is that in Cheating Expunged's older design, he had a red tongue before being switched in a new design in favor for a white tongue. For consistency, we will say that Cheating Expunged's tongue is white. Cheating Expunged has no arms or hands. And to keep thing simple, Expunged's body remains the same, but in his different versions, I will list what got changed, added, or removed, and their corresponding colors and purpose. Now onto the next version.

Unfairness Expunged (Default Appearance): In the song 'Unfairness', Unfairness Expunged appearance changes a little drastically than Cheating Expunged's. First things first, Expunged's attire turns mainly red, but his hat has also changed slightly, having a red point on top which is a cone. The top of his hat is red, the brim of it is a dark brown color now. His torso color has changed to a red as well, and the disc in between Expunged's body and legs is a dark brown too. Expunged's two legs are also a red color. But his skin has changed as well, as now he is more of an Espresso or brown skin color, mainly because of the rendering of him causing the shade to give him a darker skin tone. His eyes also appear elongated, like two ovals on their sides. And his pupils have also stretch with them as well, almost looking like goat pupils if they were all black. His smirk has also changed to a full-on ear-to-ear manic grin that almost NEVER leaves his face, though he doesn't have ears... You get the point. Also, he now has visible teeth! But it's like teeth you see in a kids' drawing, where you draw a line horizontally to make two 'teeth' that's exactly what Expunged's mouth has. This Expunged also has hands, though they are disembodied as Unfairness Expunged has no arms, his hands are also white on his palms because of the darkened skin tone. Also, Unfairness Expunged has a white tongue, as visible in a few sprites of his animations. But another weird trait that Unfairness Expunged adopted is his body. See, his body suddenly, every few seconds or so, can deconstruct, disconnect, move erratically and suddenly, and sometimes even disappear until Expunged makes it come back. It is unknown whether Expunged has control of this, though he probably doesn't. Why this happens I have no idea, but the reason for his change is because he is slowly becoming more corrupted and insane, thus why he has that grin on his face. In reality, he is slowly becoming more angry, powerful, and aggressive.

True Expunged (Most powerful form?): First things first, I say 'most powerful form' with a question mark for a reason that I will get into later in this description. But True Expunged compared to other appearances is a huge difference, as the last two kept very similar shapes and arguably appearances in full, but True Expunged blows them both out of the water, so we'll start top to bottom. First of all, Expunged's hat is different now, abandoning the hemisphere as a base and now only having two shapes to them, a cylinder and a very short, but stretch sphere that acts as a brim. The cone/spike of the hat is a red color as is the brim of the hat. Also, the general size of that hat changed to become slightly less wide, in favor of being taller than his head now. His head didn't change much, though his Cheating/Unfairness appearance's heads were spheres, yes, however they were slightly more elongated, but not to oval levels. True Expunged's head is more like a traditional, smooth sphere. And his skin is no longer a white, tan, or brown color. His skin is now pure black. As for his face? He now only has one eye, but that eye looks to be more intricate, no longer having any whites of eyes per se because the whole eye is white, pupils and everything, though he has no whites of his eyes. It is a malicious looking one, the outside of the eyes, or 'eyelids' in this case, looking like mouths on either top or bottom, giving him a much more intimidating look. True Expunged's mouth this time is still a grin, but more evil looking, and those two teeth are now multiple teeth on top or bottom, each and every one of them being very sharp and pointed. This is also the first Expunged with eyebrows, as seen on True Expunged's idle animation in the game, he has frowning eyebrows but that still grinning expression. Hinting at an anger or simply malicious intent. His body has also changed, while his torso kept its red color, the hemisphere got ditched for a cylinder. True Expunged now has arms and even hands! Expunged's 'biceps' and 'forearms' are simply just two black cones, the bicep (first cone) being pointy end towards body, and it's the same thing for the forearm (Second cone) being spike first against the bottom of the bicep, and Expunged's hands aren't really normal hands. Rather now True Expunged's hands are simply just red spheres, no joints or any fingers. So, could he grab things? I'm not too sure about that, but if I had to guess... Maybe. Expunged's legs are coincidently also quite similar to his arms. both of them being elongated cones as well, and the pointy ends facing upwards, and there are two cones, the color of the cones being black, like his arms. His feet are also like his hands, red spheres, though they are slightly longer to resemble feet, and like his hands, he has no toes or any joints and bones there either. Expunged in many fan-arts have a tail, so I will make it so that whenever True Expunged want's to, he can grow a tail that he can retract whenever, the tail itself being black and long, except for the red, pointed end of it.

Opposition Expunged: This version of Expunged appears in the Strident Crisis mod, and there are a few things that make him stand out from the other three versions of Expunged that I've mentioned so far. First off, let's start with a 'Base Expunge' form. Let's start off with the hat, first things first the base of the hat is still the same hemisphere, though it appears to be slightly more round as the sides are slightly more extended. As for the brim of Opposition Expunged's hat, the disc is elongated, around two times the same length across than Unfairness Expunged, the brim is also colored white. As for Oppo Expunged's head, it is still the same sphere, but his skin color has changed to a lighter color, that skin color being pale. His face has also changed, his eyes are not the same as his right eye resembles more of a horizontal oval like Unfairness Expunged, but his left eye looks more like an oblong circle. Oppo's pupils are also a small, beady red. Oppo's mouth is curved into a smirk, starting off slightly curved upwards to his left eye before curving almost completely upwards when it reaches his right. Oppo's torso is like cheating and unfairness Expunged's torsos except Oppo's is slightly more elongated and taller than the others, and a white color. Opposition Expunged has no hands or arms. Oppo's waist, (Which is the horizontal disc between his legs and torso) is also white. Opposition Expunged's legs are the normal length like Cheating and Unfairness Expunged, but they are also colored white. Opposition Expunged's body is almost similar to Unfairness Expunged's body as some parts can disconnect, but not as extreme as Unfairness Expunged. And every time his body parts do move erratically, for a split second each time, a yellow and blue outline surround his body, the right side a neon blue, and the left a neon yellow, as seen in his idle animation. Expunged in this version seemed to gain some power, and further levels of insanity. As in the Friday Night Funkin' song, it was and is an extremely spammy song.

Treachery Expunged: When you compare Treachery and Opposition Expunged side by side, there isn't much of a difference as they look almost the exact same, but there are a few differences now that are noticeable. The only notable change appearance-wise is his face, as now his right eye is almost in a constant state of twitching, not to mention that Treachery Expunged now got rid of the smirk and now has a grin that almost looks clenched. Also, instead of having beady red pupils, treachery rather has a empty red circle, making him look more angry. And like Unfairness Expunged, Treachery Expunged has two teeth, as there is another horizontal line that represents teeth. Another weird thing is that Treachery Expunged's body is no longer disconnecting with itself, and has no outline of colors, but now Treachery Expunged's heat is almost constantly shaking, as if Treachery is constantly on the verge of losing it.

Personality: Expunged's personality isn't truly well known, however, what is known is that he is a cruel yet goofy and childish being who tortures those who enter the 3D realm on accident for no known reason. Due to his facial expressions and speech patterns, he's also pretty crazy. He values power and does not like anyone who purposely wastes it/give it up. In Vs. Dave and Bambi: Golden Apple Edition, he has a brother named Bandu who looks up to him and wishes to earn his recognition, although Expunged has yet to give Bandu any approval (so far). Expunged also has no problems eating his brother in order to fight. Expunged is also an extremely powerful being as well, which can cause him to be very stubborn and unwilling to let go from a fight if he meets equal competition. Now would I say Expunged is a villain? Yes, while he wants to destroy cheaters, his views are a bit flawed as it really doesn't matter if you cheat or not, he just likes to torture people that come in his realm for reasons that only Expunged knows about. Expunged is also a highly intelligent being, but for being a chaos god, it makes sense I suppose. There is rarely a case where Expunged is ever 'nice', in fact, I don't think there was ever ONE situation where Expunged was nice or innocent in the slightest, and if he were to be real in the human world, he would most likely kill everyone and everything. In a lot of fanarts, I notice Expunged can be drawn to be actually nice, while I don't think he CAN'T be nice, I don't think he wants to. What I'm getting at, is that Expunged has no REASON to be kind, nice, or caring in any shape or form as he is incredibly powerful and violent. So, what's the need? And for all you freaks out there, Expunged can get horny... But I don't know how you would go about that considering he can kill you in less than a second, and that he doesn't have... Sexual organs... Or anything inside his body for that matter. As for other emotions, like fear for Example, it would take quite literally A FUCKING LOT to scare, or even threaten Expunged much, after all he is not one to give up easily, or at all. Embarrassment is most likely out of the question, as he probably doesn't. The only joy Expunged usually ever gets is from others' suffering. Which makes plenty of sense if you know ANYTHING about Expugned.

I've mentioned that Expunged is powerful, but exactly HOW powerful is he? Dave and Bambi verse, eventually Expunged manage to go to an extra-dimensional world that initially did not exist)

That is all of Expunged's powers right there, so basically, Expunged is nearly an omni-potent, immortal being... Damn.

Expunged also has a relationship, with his younger brother, Bandu. No not relationship in sexual or romantical, I'm just saying they're related. Though Expunged has yet to fully recognize Bandu, even if Bandu looks up to Expunged.

Expunged also has a hobby, that hobby being? Torturing those whoever enters the 3D world, and Killing every cheater that existed. Which is actually the same as his goals, his goals being kill however enters the 3D Realm, which he has failed once.

And last, but not least, let's get to some Expunged Trivia!:

Expunged during "Exploitation" would reveal the username set on your computer. In this case, "You won't survive, Boyfriend!"

Contrary to popular belief, Expunged is not stronger than Shaggy.

Expunged does have more control in "computer files corrupting" than Monika.

Expunged is more powerful than Dave as seen by the things it does to the notes in Cheating and Unfairness.

Expunged looks like Bambi because Bambi's joke sprite sheet was the first one Expunged saw when it came into being. Thus, why Its voice sounds like Bambi's.

The reason Expunged sounds like Bambi is because they lacked their own voice at the time. Originally, the character select menu mistakenly referred to Expunged as "3D Bambi". This has been fixed in 3.0.

Expunged has the ability to take any asset from the mod and use or mess with them however it wants. The appearance of Expunged during Unfairness is due to him corrupting 3D Bambi's sprite sheet. It can do this with all sprite sheets or assets as well as take their form.

Expunged can summon the Bambi Minions at will. This means they're canon to the original mod as well, not only Vs. Dave and Bambi: Golden Apple Edition.

Expunged's original purpose is to torture whoever accidentally enters the 3D world as seen in "Polygonized". It made up its own purpose because it thought it was fun the first time it did it. However, now Expunged does not care to have a purpose.

Expunged has a brother named Bandu who is only canon in Vs. Dave and Bambi: Golden Apple Edition.

Expunged's True Form is based on his lore and is made by his creator.

Expunged can escape the game, as seen in Exploitation when he exits the window.

Cheating Expunged doesn't have hands, contrary to popular belief.

Expunged has a proto form that is not seen in game but is only mentioned in a lore document named "davetabase-birthday".

Expunged has no gender, nor sexuality. Which means they go by any pronouns.

Expunged has nothing inside of them, which means if you cut them open and looked inside, you would find it to be completely empty.

Expunged looks like he's created from Paint 3D, which means there's no 'code' or 'pixels' you can really see on him, rather he just looks like literal smooth polygons in different colors. Just looks at all his forms, after all.
