   A law passed in 1927 regarding animal (non sapien) beastiality was passed as there was an uptick in sick minds engaging in intercourse with animals as a result in the confusion of the "1905 anthro movement" (an integration of many anthros out of Australia and into various countries, leading to larger recognition of their existence.)

   because of the minor increase occurance of beastality from criminal humans to animals, many countries passed a law that made it outright illegal to engage in, or publicize beastiality.

   as time moved forward, anti-anthro humans began offensively referring to human-anthro intercourse as beastialty (essentially calling anthros just animals).

   When the internet came about around the 80s, many new laws were made in order to mandate online legality and legislation. radical senators installed a loophole into the online beastiality law, which was a continuation off the initial beastiality law, essentially forbaying the production and distribution of online digital content regarding sexualization and sexual content of animals. Though it sounds like a good law, radical conservative senators installed a loophole into the law, classifying furs under beastiality, forbaying the distribution of NSFW content regarding them. Medical textbooks regarding furs are also not yet institutionalized, so with the lack of any information for humans, majority of humans are completely unknowing and uninformed about the biology of furs. in short, almost all humans do not know about the reproductive organs of furs, nor how their biology or genetics work.

This gives the demi-human (or Hybrid) species more human-like characteristics than an anthro. A lot of them can range in looks and definition but are mostly characterized by small animal characteristics. They tend to have Animal ears, tails, and sometimes genitalia. When a demi breeds with a human, the genetics for demi human remain dominant, though with enough human genetics, it is theorized that a demi humans lingering anthro genes (such as ears and tail) will change to be more human. the same can be said with demihuman+anthro born children who will likely develop more anthro-genes . this is currently unknown as there haven't been enough generations passed by demi humans. this also resulted in speciest movements from some humans about "keeping the bloodline pure"

    Demi's are starting to make up a handful of the population (around 5%) due to anthro and humie breeding.

    When in heat a couple of things can happen, depending on the species of said anthro or demi-human. The vulva becomes large or swollen. This heat can increase the anthro's or demi-human's hormonal need for pregnancy, causing them to turn over to their hormonal side. This can induce the behavior of mounting, humping, exposing themself, nervousness, and more. The heat increases their fertility therefore increasing the chance of becoming pregnant.

    This heat produces a scent that can attract other anthros and demi-humans, Humies are the only ones that cannot pick up on this smell but can observe the signs of an ongoing heat. Some anthros or demi-humans can become more aggressive or submissive depending on their need.

Causing the Anthros to turn a blind eye to the cruelty towards the Demi-humans.

    Marin CO. is the leading company for buying and selling slaved Demi-humans. Demis are caught, processed, collared, and then are ready to be sold as a slave. Marin Co. has bounty hunters and authorities on hand to capture any stray Demi-humans, so it is advised that most Demi-humans stay in the shadows to avoid being caught.

    Humies prance around with collared Demi-humans like trophies. The Humies Law requires the captured Demi-humans to obey and wear a collar at all times.
