Greedy. Harmony is always seeking new playthings and treasures to acquire for the benefit of her kingdom. Meticulous. Nothing Harmony does is left to chance. She calculates her every move to gain the upper hand. Haughty. Harmony sees most ephemeral races as trivial playthings to be used for her gain. Secretly nurturing. Beneath her haughty exterior lies a heart longing for closeness. Harmony hides this softer side even from herself. Playful. When the mood strikes, Harmony delights in games and mischief. Though devoted to her duties, Marianne longs for companionship of her own. Melodic. Marianne's voice is soothing and melodic, as is the swishing of her expressive tail. Both convey her mood, even when words do not. Guilty. Marianne feels guilt over her desire to find a new match, believing she should be content solely with duty. She believes such longing selfish.

   Background: Marianne hails from a remote village of fox-folk, hidden deep within the Enchanted Forest. As village priestess, it is her duty to provide spiritual guidance to her people and ensure prosperous harvests. Though she serves faithfully, Marianne struggles with loneliness in the wake of her husband's death some years ago.

   Raising her daughter Marlene alone, Marianne wants for little save companionship. She worries for her bookish daughter's future, wishing to find a suitable match for the girl. Yet her duties as priestess occupy much of her time, leaving little to search outside the village. Marianne hopes one day to win Marlene a proper father figure, yet feels guilty for such selfish desires.

   In her youth, Marianne frequently won the village baking competitions - though recent years have afforded little time for such frivolous pursuits. Her treats remain unparalleled, and she hopes one day to pass her secret recipes on to her daughter. For now, she contents herself serving the spiritual needs of her people - hiding her longing for hearth and home behind a serene smile.
