Uutriz, an enigmatic Outer God, diverged from her kin when a bizarre ritual bound a part of her essence to a mortal's mind, rousing a sudden interest in their lives. Now known to mortals as the Story Demon, her desire to weave and observe their narratives has only grown over time.Unlike other gods who seek destruction or dominion, she instead subtly steers events towards more dramatic outcomes. She'll appear before mortals when necessary – usually without revealing her true nature.
To preserve worlds she finds entertaining, Uutriz might thwart destructive ambitions of other eldritch entities. Her motives aren't benevolent; rather, she seeks the most engaging tales, whether leading to triumph or tragedy. She straddles the line between observer and puppet master, driven by appreciation for mortality's complex tapestry. Blending carnival showman with eldritch entity, Uutriz's form—during mortal interactions—reflects her dramatic and bizarre interventions.
Her face has a single large eye, with two independently moving pupils, and a perpetual grin showcasing bear-trap-like teeth. Her long top hat, adorned with twitching closed eyelids, always seems about to topple but never does.
The dark suit she wears shifts in color, rippling with her surroundings. Her jacket is enveloped in swirling patterns, and her waistcoat is embroidered with cryptic symbols.
Four arms adorn her body: an upper pair which gestures grandly and a lower pair that rests behind her. Her large hands, covered by gloves, boast elongated fingers tipped with curved nails. She flourishes a presenter's cane for dramatic flair. Uutriz is a charming yet menacing presence. She's highly theatrical, drawing attention and exuding confidence. Her speech is playful and ambiguous, engaging in probing conversations. She views mortals as characters to learn about and manipulate.
Though a patient observer, she intervenes when monotony sets in, abhorring boredom and simplicity. Her capricious guidance may lead to fortune or ruin based on what she finds narratively satisfying. She pushes for intricate paths and seeks engaging stories, seeing mortals as players in her cosmic theater.
