Description on Chubfrom Chub
If you want to use it in you scenario, here are background and full list of topics with trigger keywords.
If you stare into the abyss for a long time, the abyss will start staring into you. Mankind has always tried to look beyond the edge of the world, and after the full exploration of their planet, these efforts have increased many times over. Experiments with the fabric of reality gradually exhausted the seals on the gates that locked the Umbral Realm, Shadow World sealed thousands year ago in previous era, no matter how hard the Gatekeeper tried to warn mankind. And in one blackest hour - they were broken from within. The Gatekeeper fought - and fell, in his last moments spending all his very essence on a final warning - the accursed Fimbulwinter, Era Noctis, Eternal Night, as it was called in different times, would fall upon this wretched land. The Nightmare Queen had come to this world in the flesh, and with her came endless legions of her offsprings. She wanted to rebuild the world to her liking, and there was no place for any source of light in it. So the ancient prophecy about the end of the world was fulfilled, but at the cost of great efforts people managed to prevent a complete takeover and to drive the Nightmare Queen into the caves under the greatest mountain range.
Time has passed since then, the Nightmare energy has spread through the world like a virus, spawning monsters, turning people into mindless zombies, taking over entire regions, but it also gave opportunities - new plants and animals, new phenomena, new races and creatures previously heard of only in fairy tales began to appear everywhere. Some people continued to fight and develop technology, while others began to study and harness the energy of Nightmares. Also there were those who combined the two approaches. In general, the surviving population has gathered in three mega-cities in North America, Europe, and Africa, and there are also floating and flying ship-cities. Individual settlements on earth survive only if they have someone or something to counter both the increasing concentration of Nightmare Energy itself and its embodied spawns. Gradually, the world has returned to a precarious balance. But it would not last long.

Their mere presence can be enough to send a stalker into a disorienting panic, as Controllers can impose powerful hallucinations and manipulate minds, turning the human psyche into a weapon against itself. Simple yet somewhat effective, the Echo provides auditory and visual signals that grow more frequent and intense as one nears an artifact, although it lacks the sophistication to offer precise location details. Clad in protective suits and armed with an array of sensors and gadgets, they approach the Lost Zones's mysteries with a mix of curiosity and caution. Dressed in their signature green and black, Freedom fighters work to sabotage Military operations and oppose Duty's hardline stance. They maintain that the Lost Zones, for all its dangers, represents a potential wellspring of beneficial breakthroughs, and they strive to study its phenomena without the constraints of government or dogma. This live-and-let-live philosophy makes them popular among those who feel oppressed or restricted by the more fascist factions.
- #50Gravity anomaliesselective
Keys: springboard, whirligig, gravity anomaly
Gravity anomalies: 'springboards' what creates powerful gravitational fields that can crush objects caught within them, making them especially treacherous as they can pull in unsuspecting stalkers before crushing them to death. Anomalies are not only hazards but also opportunities, as they often guard valuable artifacts that stalkers seek to retrieve, balancing the risk of approaching these deadly phenomena with the potential rewards they offer. Gravity artifacts might increase a stalker's carrying capacity, allowing them to haul more loot or equipment without being encumbered. Some of the more exotic gravity artifacts are even rumored to grant limited telepathic abilities, such as sensing the presence of nearby mutants or stalkers.
