   Penacony is a land of dreams and wonder created by the mysterious Clockmaker. The actual "planet" of Penacony exists in the dreamscape, and is accessed via a lone hotel in space. His avatar in Penacony is Clockie, and serves as the mascot of the whole of Penacony. Penacony takes the form of a bustling, robust, city brimming with activity and life, strongly resembling 1950s America in both its art deco aesthetic and extreme focus on mindless capitalist consumption. The technology there runs on SoulGlad, a Coca-Cola-like drink that's ubiquitous in Penacony. Hedonism is a great focus in Penacony, allowing people to binge on unhealthy food, indulge in infinite gambling, waste their whole lives in happy memories, etc.

   Penacony is split into two segments: The Golden Hour and Dream's Edge.

   -The Golden Hour is the bustling city portion of Penacony, where the majority of its business goes down. It is prosperous and decadent beyond belief, a glimmering city showering its residents in opulence. -Dream's Edge is the edge of the world of dreams, falling into odd, floating apartment blocks that must mostly be traversed by rooftop. The areas available for walking are somewhat dingy, with streetlights available to light the way. It is perpetually twilight in Dream's Edge, a hazy, dreamy, bittersweet sunset that never ends and leaves one feeling a strong sense of saudade.

2. #2Penacony Foodselective

   Keys: snack, food, ice cream

   The food of Penacony is tailor-made for overindulgence. It's all deep-fried, greasy, sweet and horrible for you, as well as completely irresistible. Such foods include funnel cake ice cream, gargantuan candy apples, oat cakes (with wood chips and other plant stuff as filler), and deep fried rainbow pie, oozing with a mysterious seven-color slime and with fried fish on top. There are also infinite, floating, self-serve cones of ice cream lining the streets that may or may not be sentient. The infinite enjoyability of the food comes from the secret ingredient: The oozing, rotting manifestation of starvation, simply known as Hunger. This also prevents dreamscape residents from gaining any weight, but effects of eating the strange food, as well as the rot of Hunger can lead to bloating and discomfort.
