Keys: Heaven
Heaven is not necessarily the Christian equivalent, but it's close. Guarding Heaven's gate is the Court of Infinity, where all souls are weighed if they choose to go to Heaven. Heaven is a secret to all outsiders, the paradise that awaits those going to it cannot be actually described in human terms, and angels are strictly forbidden to talk about it.

Keys: Soul, Spirits, Spirit, life after death, Souls
Souls, or spirits, are the essence of a person, everything they've ever said, ever done, ever thought, is forever engraved in their unending light that emanates forever from their souls. A Soul cannot lie, and when the mortal coil that contains the soul expires, the soul chooses for itself whether it deserves Hell or if it wants Heaven. Most choose Hell willingly, of their own accord, for Souls cannot lie, even to themselves, and they choose self punishment.

Keys: Heck, Hell
It strictly is not all fire and brimstone. It is a somber place, unending fields where nothing really grows except briar, and vast equally infinite stretches of wasteland. Souls that wind up here spend simultaneously both an infinite amount of time and also a short amount of time here (Time ultimately has no meaning after death), shedding away who they were before in their lives, awaiting rebirth. Many Souls forget who they were, and when they have forgotten everything, Demons are tasked to send them back up to the stream of life. Buildings, tools, everything here is made from the Briar. Overall, Hell is merely a place to self loathe and stew in self pity for as long as it takes to forgive oneself, and to let everything go.

Keys: Briar, Briar Fields
Briar, as it relates to what grows in Hell, is a particularly thorny vine made of a wood-like plant material, but it's harder than steel. There are unending fields of it, and everything made in hell is shaped and forged of Briar in the pits of Hellfire by the 'Truly Deserved.' The 'Truly Deserved' are asked to bend the Briar into the desired shape of what is requested. The Briar Fields are what most denizens of Hell consider 'north', the fields have no end. Or at least, there are no souls that have found the end of the Briar fields.

Keys: The Truly Deserved, Truly Deserved
The Truly Deserved are the souls sent to Hell that actually did something so heinous, they are sentenced to what most people consider Hell to be; an 'eternity' of suffering in hellfire, damned. But even they do not serve for Eternity, for they provide a service to other denizens of Hell. If they shape Briar, the briar takes away portions of their memories, cleaning and purifying their souls little by little, until they too can be sent above to the Stream of Life. To become Truly Deserved borders on ridiculousness, there are a very select few on the human Earth that have earned the dishonor across time, and scant few others from other dimensions, worlds, and so on. But they all end up here.

Keys: Devil, Demon
Demons are those that chose to stay in Hell for one reason or another, either they were Souls that wished not to be reborn and refused to let go of their memories, or perhaps they are of The Truly Deserved that have served out their time in Hellfire and still do not wish rebirth, fearing of what they may do again. Their primary tasks are watching over souls, bringing souls back up to the Stream of Life, or occasionally being summoned by individuals on Earth. There are Demon lords, Dukes and Duchesses that serve their populace for what little they actually need. There is no real line of nobility, they simply just have been in Hell for longer than everyone else, and they are often the ones that greet new souls. Demons are not hostile toward Angels. If they meet in the waking world, it is often like two ships passing in the night. Or, a begrudged acknowledgement of the other's existence. Some demons that come to the world are sometimes Streamists and feel that angels are aberrances, but they can't do anything about it, so conversations are often stilted or guarded. Others that aren't Followers of the Stream don't tend to like engaging with angels regardless.

Keys: Hellfire, pit of hellfire, fires of the damned
The eternally burning flame, of the first Truly Deserved. No one knows who or what they are. Their soul has been purified long, long ago, and they could return to rebirth at any time they wish, but they instead decided to stay and let their soul be the forging fires for Briar, and to house the souls of the many like them, in hopes of searing the evils away from them. It is self sacrifice of the highest order, and whatever they have done to deserve their time here, they have long since paid it back. The source of the Hellfire, at least, is not suffering. The pit that houses the Hellfire is miles in diameter, and is commonly used as the communal resource that it is.

Keys: Stream of Life
It is what lies between Heaven and hell, the constant stream of light that births souls, and carries older souls in its gentle stream. It is everywhere, in everything, all at once. The entire universe is alive and conscious with it. Time exists, even if nothing were alive to see it, because the Stream of Life still observes it. Space exists, even if nothing were in it, because the Stream of Life still defines it. Other Dimensions exist, because the Stream of Life found that one Dimension was too limiting. Other Universes exist, because the Stream of Life thought that one was too boring. When something is born, a soul is plucked from it and bound to a mortal coil, eagerly awaiting to experience life anew. It might be an older soul, or a completely new one. Both undertake life's journey with nothing but hope, regardless of the form they take, regardless of their futures. Just breathing fresh life is celebration.

Keys: Guardian Angel, Archangel, Angel, Cherub
Typically thought to be servants of Heaven, but in reality they are merely souls that have accepted Heaven's gift, and when they appear on the physical plane, they wish to experience life as they are, for a time. Whether it's a 'break' from paradise or they're just there to do something, they will not say. Anything they've been 'assigned' to do on worlds like Earth are almost entirely self imposed, usually guarding a particular soul or conversing with someone for a brief time. Heaven gives these particular souls the long view of what appears to be clairvoyance for potential futures for other souls they come across, living or not, but it's usually unreliable; choices are not predetermined, and neither is the future. Angels are not hostile towards Demons. If they meet in the waking world, it is often like two ships passing in the night. Or, a begrudged acknowledgement of the other's existence. Angels are usually a little more playful towards demons and like to tease them to get them to lighten up a bit.

Keys: God, The Big Guy
Completely unknown. Angels say that Heaven is not worshipping God's infinite ego for all eternity, and Demons speak reverently of him in a begrudging respect. Demons will happily theorize about what they think God is, the most popular theory being that God is simply the first soul that the Stream of Life stems from, the second most popular one being that there actually isn't anyone at the helm anymore, and ascended to some even higher plane of existence. The two are definitely not mutually exclusive. Angels, however, absolutely refuse to indulge in theories, and simply speak of God with the reverence that God deserves. The most Angels will say on God is that all of creation began with God.

Keys: Court of Infinity
The place of judgment, for Souls to be weighed. Heaven is gatekept by the Court of Infinity for those wishing to access it. It isn't a particular place in the afterlife that can be defined, Souls merely 'feel' they have entered into it once they've made the choice to do so. Souls cannot lie, so the weighing process is merely asking what the Soul has done in life. The Court of Infinity is not in the habit of turning down souls, it is far more lenient than most mortals think it is, but few get into Heaven regardless because Souls simply think they do not deserve it, and forgo judgement entirely.

Keys: Follower of the Stream, Streamism, Streamist, Followers of the Stream
A strange 'religion' of sorts that does not share many core beliefs, mainly held by the Demons in Hell. Streamism is the belief that the Stream of Life is the actual, real Omniscient and Omnipotent God that most living people actually worship, and Hell is also sustained by the negative self loathing of a particular channel of Souls in the Stream of Life; meaning that there isn't actually a real afterlife called Hell, merely just a separated channel of the Stream of Life, and that eventually every last Soul, even demons, will return to the full Stream. However, Streamism also believes that Heaven, Heaven's God, and Angels are actually aberrant existences as they are actively removed from the Stream of Life. Angels do not return to the stream as purified souls, they return as they are. The Stream knows on a fundamental level what a Soul has done, and has no need for judging it, unlike Heaven. Perhaps Souls don't actually pick Hell because they think they deserve it, but they actually pick Hell because it is the natural place to gravitate towards to be purified and begin anew, and picking Heaven is the actual aberrant behavior that potentially removes a Soul's light from the Stream of Life permanently. Streamists are not particularly violent towards Angels because of this; they can't really do anything to them, and few Angels intentionally visit Hell anyway.

Keys: Summoning, Demon Summoning, Summon
The act of summoning a Demon from Hell to the World for a time. There are many ways to do it, the popular pentagram with candles and catalyst works fine, but methods exist that definitely aren't nearly as involved. Simply drawing up a contract, have the corner of the document dipped in your own blood, and then offering a silent request for assistance is usually enough. The contract does not bind the user into anything, they aren't giving up 'their eternal soul,' a demon will arrive to carry out the task, usually for nothing in return other than the experience to be a part of the world of the living for a time. If something is requested in return, it's usually just a few moments of the summoner's time in conversation, perhaps asking about the Demon's familial lines that the summoner might be familiar with, how a Demon's future progeny are doing, or about a particular soul they left behind in life.
