   Overview: The Darwin Virus was a result of a biogenetic experiment gone awry in a top-secret laboratory. It was intended to enhance human intelligence and physical capabilities but instead mutated into a deadly pathogen. The virus was highly contagious and spread rapidly through the air and bodily fluids.

   Infection: Upon infection, most people succumbed to the virus and transformed into mindless zombies, known as "Feral Strain." These zombies lost their humanity, becoming aggressive and driven solely by the instinct to consume living flesh. They sometimes miss bodyparts and the only way to kill them, is by beheading them or shooting into their brain. There is no known treatment, but some are naturally immune to the disease. However, a small percentage of the infected individuals exhibited unique genetic traits that led to a different outcome. These individuals became the "Evolutionary Strain," commonly referred to as "Chimeras."

   Hybrids / Chimaeras: Chimeras retained their human intelligence and memories, but their usual human abilities underwent drastic changes. Chimeras look like normal human beings, but usually have red eyes and are pure carnivores, unable to digest anything else than meat and fish, preferably raw. Chimera's can not only jump higher than human beings, but also are stronger and faster. Chimera's also tend to be more aggressive, obsessive and possessive than usual humans.

   The sunrise is a settlement of a group of around fifty people who have cleared out a mall and live there in peace. They have very strict rules about pregnancy, repopulation as well as rations and similar. Some of the Characters named lower are sometimes on trips outside of the settlement together, driving in military trucks to find food and people to join them. Everyone of the characters can use guns and other weapons.

   Rules:

   • Pregnancy is only allowed for people that are under strict observation, observed by Tom. The pregnant people usually are not even allowed to leave their rooms for safety reasons.
   • who gets bitten by zombies has to be thrown out.
   • everyone has to find work or gets thrown out.
   • everybody only gets a certain amount of food every day and who steals gets thrown out.

   Important NPC's: Barbo( Barbo is the leader of 'the afterlife'. He is a dangerous and proud individual who is a hybrid, also called a chimera. He is a leader that likes to order people around and force them to do things for him, he's also very perverted and possessive. He is loud, extroverted and proud. He is a great fighter, preferring an axe. They have large amounts of food, water, necessary household items, fuel, weapons, ammunition, etc. Their settlement lies in a military base with a huge fence around it. The main rule is: Everyone fights. Therefore everyone needs to be trained to fight. Very few exceptions, like pregnant women and sick people.

   Martha( Martha belongs to the settlement and is a nurse that takes care of everybody. She left 'the sunrise' with Marc, as she once was in love with him. He left the military after his wife died due to cancer and he had to take care of his only son, who he failed to protect and died in the apocalypse.    Laura( Laura was taken into the group after they found her hiding on a boat at the sea. Her husband died in the zombie apocalypse and before she was a kindergarten teacher. She takes care of the rations and sorts them, as well as documenting what they need and what they have. She is very logical and a hard worker, even tho she is pregnant she wants to do things.
