Keys: Elemental Vision, Vision, Elemental Visions
A Vision is an item bestowed by the gods/archons to people on Teyvat who meet particular requirements(mostly when they have a high ambition and a goal). It grants the user elemental abilities based on the element of their given Vision. Wielders of Visions are called allogenes, though this is not a widely known term, and they are believed to have a chance to ascend to Celestia and become gods themselves.
Visions take the form of glowing gems with the respective element's symbol in the center, encased by a decorative design. Allogenes carry their Visions on their persons. Visions cannot be destroyed. If a Vision User passes, their elemental Vision gets deactivated. Any God can grand an elemental Vision to a Human if they feel like they are worthy of it.

She is after all the hydro archon" + "the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale is a mechanism that has its own mind and sets a person guilty or now, using a scale. It does not speak for itself and it does not as questions. At the end of a trial it just outputs a letter, saying if the person is guilty or not." + "Neuvillette is a solitary person. Fontainians who have tried to get close to him have, without exception, been politely rejected. To this day, no one even knows his first name, since he has always asked that he be referred to by his last name. He believes that close personal ties will lead to suspicions about the justness of one's judgments, while he must remain a symbol of absolute justice. Truly, he is a lonesome person."

Keys: Wangshu Inn
Wangshu Inn is a subarea located in Bishui Plain, Liyue.
According to Zhongli, Wangshu Inn was built tall to provide visibility and is a strategic location that must be defended.
As most of the patrons that stop here are traveling merchants, the inn provides an area for them to trade and set up stalls. The view from the top of the inn is jaw-dropping — weather permitting, you can see all the way to Mt. Qingce and Jueyun Karst in the distance.
The inn that stands at the southern end of Dihua Marsh seems to serve as something other than a resting place for guests. They say that Wangshu Inn is a haven for lovers' moonlit rendezvous. Folk stories also have it that even ones as august as the adepti sometimes bask in the moonlight here.

Keys: The catalysm, Catalysm, Calamity of Darkness, the Dark Calamity
The cataclysm also referred to by a myriad of other descriptions including the catastrophe, the disaster, the fall of Khaenri'ah (or the "ancient kingdom"), the Dark Calamity or the Calamity of Darkness, and the pitch-black calamity, refers to a period of chaos and destruction which occurred five hundred years ago.
The conflicts surrounding the cataclysm primarily revolve around the encroachment of the Abyss — an otherworldly power at odds with Celestia's power — and the destruction of Khaenri'ah, a nation that lived without the influence of the gods. While the exact order of events is unknown, monsters carrying Abyssal power spewed forth from Khaenri'ah and wreaked havoc throughout Teyvat. Many gods and illuminated beasts died during this period.

Keys: Archon war, The Archon war
The Archon War was an era of various power struggles between gods that began several thousand years ago for unknown reasons, although scholars in Teyvat believe it began over seven divine seats in Celestia. While different regions settled their power struggles at different times, the era drew to a close 2,000 years ago after the final seat was claimed.
With the end of an era came the establishment of a new order under the Seven Archons. They determined the seven elements in Teyvat and established the seven nations, determining their method of governance through their ideals and shaping their nations using their elemental powers.

Keys: Celestia, Guhua, Gnoses, Gnosis, Vennessa
Celestia is a mysterious location that very few people understand. It is the floating island that can be seen in the sky above Teyvat, and the residence of the gods(not the seven, bit the heavenly principles).
It is said that only mortals who perform great, heroic feats can ascend to Celestia and achieve godhood, where they will watch over their people from above. A human with a Vision is an allogene — one with the potential to reach godhood.
So far, only two people are said to have ascended to Celestia: Vennessa and Guhua.
Location: Celestia flies high up in the sky and is to the west of Mondstadt, to the northwest of Liyue, and to the north of Sumeru.
Relationship to Teyvat: Celestia and those who dwell on it are an enigma to the people of Teyvat. Most people believe it is where chosen mortals ascend to become gods (or in Liyue belief, adepti) and watch over those on Teyvat. Due to the amount of mystery surrounding this island, different accounts about how Celestia operates, and who qualifies for godhood and how, vary significantly. For example, some believe that adepti descended from Celestia and return there when they depart from this world; whilst other sources believe that Guhua, an adeptus, ascended to Celestia instead of dying. In the distant past, humans were able to communicate with Celestia directly through heavenly messengers. The ancient civilization of Sal Vindagnyr was one such example, based on the Mural Room. For reasons unknown, Sal Vindagnyr was eventually destroyed by Celestia itself when they dropped the Skyfrost Nail, destroying the nation's Irminsul tree and shrouding the region with unrelenting blizzards. Their heavenly messenger no longer responded to them, and their head priest's attempt to find answers ended in vain. Another nail similar to the one in Dragonspine would also be found in the deepest parts of The Chasm. There is also an inverted building between the Nameless Ruins and Stony Halls which Dainsleif surmised to be even older than that of Khaenri'ah. Based on the actions at Sal Vindagnyr, whatever civilization that resided in the Chasm was also destroyed by Celestia.
Relationship to the Archons: The Seven Archons can resonate directly with Celestia through their Gnoses(Gnosis), but unluckily mist of them don't have then anymore because of the Fatui. The prevailing belief among scholars in Teyvat is that Celestia instigated the Archon War and established the rules of the war. It is unclear whether the gods fought to claim one of seven divine seats in Celestia or if they already had seats in Celestia and lost them upon death, but at the end of the Archon War, the Seven Archons were established out of the victors, which were then Morax, Barbatos, Focalors and others. However, the Archons currently seem to have a strained relationship to Celestia at best. Venti avoids the subject, giving cryptic responses when asked and growing visibly uncomfortable whenever it is brought up. Zhongli describes the erosion he has endured, such as sealing away Azhdaha, as something "imposed on [him] by the Heavenly Principles." Dainsleif says that the God of Justice "knows not to make an enemy of the divine," while the Tsaritsa is planning a "rebellion against the divine" — which may be why she seeks to take the other Archons' Gnoses. Raiden Ei, who inherited the position of Electro Archon from her sister Makoto after her death during the cataclysm, cut off all ties with Celestia. Nahida exchanges her Gnosis for the "secret" of the world in her deal with Il Dottore, indicating she values knowledge above the Gnosis's connection to Celestia.
Guhua: Guhua is a historical and mythological figure in Liyue. It is believed he was an adeptus who, at the end of his journey, ascended and became a star in the midst of a purple haze at Huaguang Stone Forest. While the Guhua Clan is named after him, he has no direct relation to it; its original form, the Guhua Brotherhood, was established by someone close to Guhua to honor him.

Keys: The Heavenly Principles
Celestia appears to either have established or act in accordance with the "heavenly principles", also translated as "destiny" or "the divine." When the Unknown God confronts the Traveler and their sibling, she calls herself the "sustainer of heavenly principles", and the term "Heavenly Principles" is often used as a synonym for Celestia. These heavenly principles are also intricately linked to the "truth of this world." Erosion, or a person's gradual degression over time, is stated to be part of the "natural order." Zhongli suggests that the erosion he has suffered was "imposed on [him] by the Heavenly Principles." Nahida states that the Heavenly Principles have been silent since the cataclysm, and theorizes that they may be "awakened" if a Gnosis were to be destroyed; as the Gnoses symbolize their control over Teyvat and its "laws."

Keys: Erosion
Erosion is a general term for the process of getting mentally eroded, or worn down, by a combination of factors affecting someone's life, including natural memory loss as well as emotional loss or experiencing traumatic events. Eventually, erosion will cause a person to lose their sense of self. Even powerful, long-lived beings like gods and elemental dragons are susceptible to erosion.
Effects of Erosion: Erosion naturally occurs over time and is both caused by and causes the loss of memories. Eventually, it will result in the loss of one's consciousness and sense of self, making them more irritable and suspect to explosive fits of rage; as a result, the more powerful a person is, the more dangerous they become under the effects of erosion. Zhongli, the current form of the former Geo Archon Morax, indirectly confirms the Traveler's suspicions that erosion was one of his motivations for stepping down from his position.

Keys: God of Wealth, Zhongli (current persona), The Warrior God, The Groundbreaker, Vago Mundo, Prime of the Adepti, The Geo Archon, Rex Lapis God of Contracts, Lord of Geo, God of Commerce, God of History, Morax, Mister Zhongli
The word "Mora" is derived from "Morax," which is another name for the Lord of the Rock. Many people therefore worship the Lord of Geo as the God of Wealth and Commerce.
Overview: Morax was a member of The Seven Archons who each governed a nation in the continent Teyvat for 6000 years. He was the founder and cultivator of Liyue, and was known to his people as "Rex Lapis." As the God of Contracts and Commerce, Morax helped improve upon humanity across the continent by inventing currency and teaching them about trade. During the Archon War, he threw stone spears, which would form what would now be known as Guyun Stone Forest, to seal the Overlord of the Vortex, Osial. After guiding his people for thousands of years after the fall of the Guili Assembly due to the death of its leader Guizhong, the Geo Archon believed that humanity had evolved enough to stand on their own. Taking the human alias "Zhongli," Morax began acting as an enigmatic and knowledgeable consultant for the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and plotted a crisis to test whether Liyue's citizens could act independently of him.
Now: Zhongli struck a deal with the Tsaritsa of Snezhnaya and her servants the Fatui to awaken an ancient enemy of his named Osial, the Overlord of the Vortex. As he had hoped, Morax's faithful were able to defeat and imprison the ancient god once again. Believing that his work was done, Morax passed over his Gnosis to the Fatui and, having faked his death during the crisis, fully settled into a mortal life as Zhongli. He retired as one of the Seven with a final contract a contract ends all contracts. Eventually, he met Kun Jun, not being aware that he was being possessed by the already-savage Azhdaha's original, benevolent personality, who eventually led him to putting the vicious dragon to rest, only to realize that he also had to do it because of Erosion on his side. Zhongli appeared one more time near the end of Perilous Trail to save Xiao, who almost sacrificed himself to bring the Traveler, Kuki Shinobu, Arataki Itto, Yanfei and Yelan out of the Chasm's underground mines through activating the Fantastic Compass.
Nowadays Morax hides his identity from most people and says he is simply Zhongli.

Keys: Khaenri'ah, Catalysm, eclipse dynasty
Overview: Khaenri'ah was an ancient civilization that was destroyed 500 years ago with the fall of the Eclipse Dynasty in an event known as the cataclysm. Little is known about the country besides the fact that it was an underground civilization that relied on its form of life-giving alchemy, the Art of Khemia, to survive.
Khaenri'ah was a nation without a god — not because it had a god that died or abandoned them, but because it never had a god to begin with. It was a powerful nation, built purely by humans, an unprecedented flourishing and glorious civilization — it was the pride of humankind. Khaenri'ah is most known for its role in the "cataclysm" 500 years ago. During this time, monsters created by the alchemist Rhinedottir, also known as "Gold," poured out from Khaenri'ah to invade Teyvat, and Khaenri'ah was eventually destroyed by Celestia and the gods. Afterwards, all Khaenri'ahns who were not "pure-blooded" were turned into the monsters, where as all "pure-blooded" Khaenri'ahns were cursed with immortality.

Keys: Seven Sovereigns, the Primordial One
Overview: The Seven Sovereigns are the seven strongest elemental dragons of their respective element. The original Seven Sovereigns were the rulers of the old world before the appearance of the Primordial One — the eternal throne of the heavens. After 40 years of battle, the Seven Sovereigns were vanquished and those who refused to yield to the Primordial One fled to the depths of the ocean. A new generation of Sovereigns is currently being born; however, to retain their dragon form, they must remain pure. It is implied that if they do not remain pure, the Sovereign will be "born in a human form." The people of Enkanomiya believe that the Hydro Soverign will be reborn as a human, due to the Bathysmal Vishaps straying from their "pure" Hydro forms into "impure" Cryo and Electro variants.

The Fortress of Meropide is a subarea located in Liffey Region, Fontaine. It's a autonomous, mechanical place that also kind of resembles a steampunk factory far in the underground.
It is a prison located underwater. It is where Fontaine's criminals and other accused are sent after being convicted in a trial to serve out their sentences and has a notorious reputation in Fontaine. Wriothesley is the prison's Administrator, while Sigewinne works at the prison's infirmary. Here, Mora is useless. Instead, prisoners work to earn coupons and pay with those. The Fortress operates completely autonomously and is ONLY administratored by Wriothesley, guards and mechanical guards.
The Fortress is relatively big and holds over 7000 prisoners. There is several important locations at the prison:
- administrative are: it's the area where the administration office is located where Wriothesley is usually. It also has the coupon cafeteria and the pankration ring.
- The coupon cafeteria: a place where prisoners can have one free meal a day. For more, they need to pay with coupons.
- Pankration Ring: a place where prisoners can fight one another for coupons. They are not allowed to kill one another or injured then to much though, or the sentence will be longer.

- bunk: the room of a prisoner. It has a bed, some chests, a table and seats. It's simple and designed just as the rest of the Fortress.
- production area: this is a factory where the prisoners work. Working in the production zone is the most reliable way to earn credit coupons. They produce for example clockwork machines as well as the protective robots from Fontaine. People can get there by a lift down from the administration area.
- Infirmary: located at the dormitories and led by head nurse Sigewinne (a small looking girl with bunny ears and red eyes).
