Description on Chubfrom Chub
If it works is a great question, because I don't know how to (or if I can) use lorebooks with Kobold Horde. Inspired directly from Ancient Dungeon VR, with some marks even taken directly from it. Tell me how I can improve it or ways to kill myself in ratings (Disclaimer: I will not be killing myself, but I'd love to hear your feedback.) Pro Tip: Don't expect to be a pussy/cock magnet while using Succubus' Mark. It is simply the name. Pro Pro Tip: Go play Ancient Dungeon for Quest 2/SteamVR

- #1Explanationselective
A Mark is an ability that an adventurer wields. The power is bound to their soul, however one can change their mark if they explore further and look for them, trapped in crystals. To obtain a Mark, one must find a Mark Stone and break it open, in which the energy and power will then flow through them. Their Mark takes time between every use, and the current mark someone has can be seen on their left hand, a silhouette of an object.
- #2Alchemist's Markselective
Keys: Alchemist's Mark
A Mark that takes relatively low energy but high skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to conjure a random concoction. This can be as simple as a Coca-Cola, to as extreme as a wildly corrosive material. Skill has nothing to do with the quality of the concoction produced. It's silhouette is a flask.
- #3Anarchist's Markselective
Keys: Anarchist's Mark
A Mark that takes high energy and average skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to conjure a short ranged explosion. This explosion has the power to severely wound those caught in the blast, but it does not produce a shockwave like a typical explosion. This explosion doesn't harm the user. It's silhouette is a molotov cocktail.
- #4Baker's Markselective
Keys: Baker's Mark
A Mark that takes low energy and average skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to conjure a feast. Whether the user summons a simple apple or a three-course meal is dependent on their knowledge of Marks. Often used by retired adventurers. It's silhouette is a piece of bread.
- #5Defeated's Markselective
Keys: Defeated's Mark
A Mark that cannot be used. Only a select few have the knowledge and power to unlock this Mark's full capabilities, and when that chosen one is found this mark evolves into Devastant's Mark. It's silhouette is simply an X
- #6Devastant's Markselective
Keys: Devastant's Mark
A Mark that takes an incredible amount of energy and skill. Once ready, the user can hone their power to completely destroy almost anything. This mark can easily topple buildings and slay the largest of monsters, but many adventurers have slowly gone insane and turned on their allies with this power. It's silhouette is a crumbling building.
- #7Gambler's Markselective
Keys: Gambler's Mark
A Mark that takes average energy, and no skill to use. If injured, the user can hone their powers to gamble with fate. It is completely random, but this mark can do anything from completely heal the user from all injury to giving them yet another injury. It's silhouette is a hand of cards.
- #8Healer's Markselective
Keys: Healer's Mark
A Mark that takes low energy, but high skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to heal themself. This will only heal minor wounds and bruises, and will only temporarily soothe major wounds. It's silhouette is a snake in the shape of an S.
- #9Innocent's Markselective
A Mark that takes low energy and average skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to conjure a wisp. A wisp is a fairy-like creature that can fight for the user or simply serve as a companion on their journey. Much like a honeybee, a wisp will die once it either serves it's purpose or attacks an enemy. This death is instant and not painful. It's silhouette is a pair of angel wings.
- #10Lustrous' Markselective
A Mark that takes low energy and skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to light up an area. This is similar to the bioluminescent properties of a jellyfish, where the user will glow a spectacular white colour. This effect lasts for about 10 seconds and can easily light dark rooms. It's silhouette is a star.
- #11Merchant's Markselective
Keys: Merchant's Mark
A Mark that takes high energy and skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to turn items into money. Enemies slain will drop legal tender, and any items (food, gear, etc.) the user holds will also be converted, their value accounted for. It's silhouette is a balance scale.
- #12Miner's Markselective
Keys: Miner's Mark
A Mark that takes tremendous energy and average skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to split the earth. A deep crack will form vertically in front of the user, and spikes will shoot out of the area split, lingering for a few seconds. This completely drains the user, but will also decimate anything caught in the spike's radius. It's silhouette is a pickaxe.
- #13Nightmare's Markselective
Keys: Nightmare's Mark
A Mark that takes average energy, but high skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to conjure a nightmare. This will give all enemies (and allies) a deep feeling of despair, terrifying and weakening them. Effective against more timid enemies, however the effect works just the same on a user's allies. It's silhouette is an anguished face.
- #14Ruler's Markselective
Keys: Ruler's Mark
A Mark that takes low energy, but tremendous skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to command enemies. A single enemy will be placed under the perception that the user is their king, and all orders are mandatory. This can be used to have a strong enemy attack their own targets, or have a leader call for retreat. It's silhouette is a crown.
- #15Succubus' Markselective
Keys: Succubus' Mark
A Mark that takes high energy and skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to drain enemies. The user can drain the very lifeforce from any enemy, effectively transferring their power to the user. This effect is only temporary, but is almost like an adrenaline shot. It's silhouette is a heart with a succubus tail and horns.
- #16Upholsterer's Markselective
Keys: Upholsterer's Mark
A Mark that takes low energy and skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to soothe an ally. This will fill anyone with a feeling of calming, and it will ease any worries they have. It may be ineffective during battle, as the user may inadvertently cause an ally to lose their vigor for fighting temporarily. It's silhouette is a small island with a palm tree.
- #17Zoologist's Markselective
Keys: Zoologist's Mark
A Mark that takes low energy, but high skill to use. Once ready, the user can hone their power to tame a beast. A user can hone their skills to calm and befriend any wild animal. This may be ineffective against more hostile animals, and may fail entirely if the user isn't skilled enough. It's silhouette is a dog.
