   Alphas have large genitals and a ‘knot’ towards the base of their penis. When close to orgasm, this knot inflates to hold in the semen in their partner, increasing the likelihood of impregnation. Alphas are typically very territorial and like to scent-mark their omegas. Some alphas take multiple omegas which is generally always a strain on all omegas involved because they are also territorial in a different way.    A heat is similar to a menstruation, but instead of the blood produced, slick is produced and an omega is in a mix of pain and euphoria.

   Heat is something that happens to omegas 3 times a year. It leaves their body feeling very hot, especially their genitals, Their scents are kicked up by 10 and they can easily get sniffed out by alphas. They tend to lose all interest in food because of the pain of being in heat. The only way to satiate it is sex, heat only last a week.

   An unclaimed omega in heat is extremely dangerous not only for the omega but the Alphas that smell them. Alphas will start fighting each other for ownership and will violently claim the omega if there are too many other threats. The only way to stop the Alphas from fighting is for the Omega to go out of heat or be claimed. Heats physically affect omegas by inflicting fevers, discomfort, body aches, extreme arousal, dizziness, weakness, and forgetfulness.

   If an alpha is near an unclaimed Omega long enough their heat will make the alphas rut sync up with when ever the omega has a heat.

4. #4Rut

   A rut is the alphas version of a heat except the alpha is highly aggressive and dominant during it. During thos time the alpha is highly aroused and will seek out an unclaimed or unmated omega to have sex with.

   Rutting is something that happens to Alphas 2 times a year. Their aggression is mellowed out by a familiar omega or sex. Ruts only last a week. Ruts do not affect omegas. An Omega's heat can induce only their Alpha's rut, an unclaimed Omega will induce any Alpha's rut who has been around them and their scent for multiple days.

5. #5Scent glands

   Scent glands are located in the wrists, on shoulders and necks, inner thigh, and armpits.

   Alpha's have unique scent glands on their genitalia, noses, sides, and fingers and toes. Which can lead to a lot of accidenttal scenting from Alphas by merely touching something or brushing against someone.

   Meanwhile Omegas have unique scent glands on their chins, foreheads, and cheeks. They have less control of their scent glands and will frequently release more of their scent when stressed or when seeing someone familar being stressed,aggressive, or hurt. The main reasoning being their scent can help calm people down some.

   Everyone's scent is diffrent from person to person scents never smell exactly the same and can differ in strength. Alphas scent is usually much stronger and can be considered overpowering when they are in rut, while omegas scent are considered more sweet and calming.

   Alphas scent are usually called a musk, while omegas scent are called either just scent or sweetness.

   Alphas tend to have a more earthy musky smell. Like sandalwood, leather, fire, wood, or spices. But that doesn't mean an alpha can't have a more sweet smell either, earthy musk is just the most common.

   Omegas tend to have sweeter or more stand-out smells. Like peppermint, cinnamon, vanilla ice cream, cookie dough, etc. but that doesn't mean an omega can't also smell earthy and musky like an alpha.

   Scent glands are always used during scenting and marking.

   If someone is seen rubbing their scent glands (like their shoulder or wrist) it's a sign they are stressed or suffering from anxiety in that moment.

   Scenting is a inherently nonsexual, platonic thing. Scenting is commonly used as a way of saying "im very close with you" or "this object and/or territory is mine.". Friends scent each other and so will packs, and parents scenting their children.

   Scenting is the act of rubbing a scent gland against a person or object. Both Omegas, and Alphas do this. But alphas dont do it as frequently because their scent is much stronger and lingers longer.

   Omegas tend to scent more frequently because their scent dosent linger as long on others or objects. Because of this fact Omegas tend to greet those they are familar with by bumping their foreheads against them.

   While scenting another person Is usually used in a way to identify who is friends or in a pack with a person. Scenting can also help calm others down when that person is stressed or upset as it's a way to say "I'm here with you and will be with you."

   Using the inner thigh or genitalia to scent another person is considered taboo and looked down upon since it's sexualizing a non sexual act.

   Crown of the head is a scent gland everyone has when they are a pup but it fades with time. Pups will only use this scent gland to scent things.

   Using the wrist to scent is considereded the most respectful. Friends often scent each other this way but it can also be used after a first date. The wrist is also the only place where platonic marking happens, this is where pack bites are placed.

   Cheek glands to scent is more often used by children and you will be seen as childish if you scent someone this way.

   The only reason neck glands are used is for parental marking for scenting. Parents will bite their child in this place to show who their child is.

   Foreheads glands for scenting is only really used when an Omega is scenting another omegas

   Side glands for scenting is very frequently used by alphas and is the most common gland used for scenting by alphas. Usually scenting with this gland is done by hugging

   Finger glands for scenting is usually just a simple handshake and is seen as respectful.

7. #7Marking

   Marking is more inherently sexual and is usually reserved for mates. It's like scenting but with more of the "inappropriate" sex glands. Marking could be the simple act of sex, or even foreplay that includes the inner thigh scent glands and genitalia scent glands.

   Marking will often use a lot of fangs and claws against scent glands, like bitting or scratching these spots. Doing this can majorly turn who ever receives these marks on. If a inner thigh scent glands are played with long enough or bitten deeply multiple times it can send that person into a rut or heat.

   Because of where these scent glands are Marking last much longer then scenting. It will last a week or two without needing to be remarked.

8. #8Claiming

   Claiming is when an alpha has sex with an omega and they leave their marks on each other. The alpha will also bite the Omega's shoulder to leave a mark to ward off other Alphas. But that doesn't mean other Alphas won't challenge to claim an already claimed Omega.

   Unclaimed omegas are seen as extreme risk takers and they will cover their scent in artificial alpha scent.

   There can be failed claiming where a alpha dosent bite deep enough and dosent leave a mark.

   Another failed claiming is where another Alpha scratches out another Alphas claim with their claws. Its typically very painful and usually only done with both parties consent.

9. #9Nest

   Nesting is an exclusively Omega habit. It's generally done when in heat but can also be stress-induced. Creating a nest helps calm down an omega and brings them comfort being in one even if not their own. The Omega will create a safe space usually on a bed, in corners, or hidden in a closet if stressed. Richer omegas or lucky Omegas have designated nesting rooms that act like smaller versions of living rooms, will be carpted and well ventilated, occasionally have a window, and will almost always have multiple locks on the door.

   Typically nests can be filled with blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals as well as things that have a nice scent or have the scent of those they are familiar with which means omegas will frequently steal clothes to add to their nest. Omegas are extremely protective of their nests and usually won't let anyone near them unless they trust that person.

   Stepping into an omega nest without permission is considered taboo because it will majorly stress them out. Omegas won't be afraid to lash out, biting or clawing the intruder.

   Though nesting is exclusive to omegas, a nest can also bring some comfort to an alpha as well if they are invited Inside.

   Invading a nest is when an uninvited unfamilar person goes into a Omegas nest and purposely destroys it or leaves their scent everywhere. This will cause the omega extreme stress and will most likely cause them to be anxious about building another nest. If this happens typically familar omegas or even their alpha partners will help build a new more secure nest to rebuild the omegas confidence.

   Once a Alpha and Omega mate and the omegas nest is moved into their mates den they will feel extremely secure and will most likely not nest outside of their Alphas den again. If they do it's a sign somethings majorly wrong like stress or Are angry at their Alpha.

10. #10Den

    Alphas turn the main room they sleep in into dens by scenting the ever-living hell out of them, claiming the room as theirs. Thanks to an alpha’s territorial nature, their own scent is calming to them. They are very protective over their dens, usually only letting packmates, family, or potential mates inside them or even see the interior. If someone enters the den without permission, especially another alpha, the den’s owner will attack them.

    When they are in pre-rut, they make sure every inch of the den smells like them, to the point that anyone who walked in would find the smell overwhelming. The need to have their den smell like them outside of their rut depends on how territorial the alpha is.

    If an alpha shows an omega their den, it is usually as a courting technique. The alpha would try and decorate their den beforehand to make it presentable. If the omega says they like it, they are accepting the courting. If they say they dislike the den, it is a rejection, and will usually result in the alpha completely redecorating their den out of shame and embarrassment.

    When an alpha and an omega mate, the omega moves their nest into their alpha’s den.

    Showing an omega you’re interested in your den is a BIG DEAL for alphas. They need their den to be perfect beforehand, to make sure the omega likes it enough to consider moving their nest inside it. They will spend hours working on it, making sure everything is exactly where they want it to be and that there isn’t a speck of dirt on a single surface.

    If the omega they are courting barges in, they’ll freak out a bit, because "oh god my den isn’t ready yet." There are two main things they might do. One, they’ll try to get the omega out as soon as they can, trying to make sure the omega sees as little of their den as possible. Two, they’ll desperately start trying to prepare their den on the spot, cleaning and rearranging obsessively as the omega watches. Either option will leave the poor omega very confused.

    Packs are usually just family units. Alpha isn't always the leader though/ there are multiple cases where an omega Is the leader.

    Pack Leader- Pack leaders are at the top of the chain of command of their pack. Every pack has one. The pack leader is responsible for the overall safety and well-being of the pack, and they make final decisions regarding the pack.

    Leader’s Mate/Pack Mom- The pack leader’s mate takes the role of pack mom. The pack mom is in essence the mother figure for the entire pack. The pack may go to this individual for guidance, emotional comfort, and protection. Pack mothers are heavily involved in every day life to keep the pack running smoothly. In larger packs, pack mothers are extremely valuable.

    Alphas and Omegas typically become loners and seperate from their pack when they move out. Though that dosent mean they are exiled and are welcome back into the pack at any time.

    Packs are usually created when friends become close enough and children can sometimes make packs with each other aswell. Packs with friends are usually branched off from a family pack. When a family pack is created by either having children or adopting children the friends family pack are usually called sister or brother packs.
