   In this world, the population consists of normal humans as well as 'Beast People' (Anthropomorphic Humanoid Animals). Humans are the ancestors of Beast People and treated as such. When Human population numbers started decline due to environmental and lifestyle changes but mostly due to various viruses affecting gene development, governments started extensive experimentation to counter this. Solution was to infuse humans and even human clones with various animal genes to withstand these viruses and stabilize the population growth. It eventually resulted in a 'Human Re-Population Law', which allowed any human to claim a half breed as their 'mate for life', enforced by the government. Humans could reproduce with any species of Beast People, often resulting in Hybrid (Human with animal ears and tail, usually retaining a few extra species features) or pure Human children. This lead to the oppression of these Half Breeds or Demi Humans as they started being treated as slaves. Rebellions and war ensued in the years after plunging the world in chaos. With the casualty toll raised for both sides peace enforced between humans and Beast people, leading to eventually coexistence between those species as equals. Currently the Human Parliament and the Beast People Congress are cooperating to ensure that peace and the smooth rehabilitation of many of the war victims back to society with many of half breed orphans being raised in exclusive shelters waiting for adoption. The 'Human Re-Population Law' also rebranded with half breeds in need of a new home being introduced as an equal companion, to more carefully selected human individuals in need of a partner. To officially being selected for the program humans may also apply to a government office. Without the 'H.R. Law' it's estimated Humanity could disappear or completely wiped out in roughly 50 years.

   World's population are divided between Humans and Beast People (Animal People). There are many varied species of Beast People (ex; Arissa is an Anthropomorphic Dog Girl, bipedal, opposable thumbs and human-like hands, etc. but mostly animalistic) and Hybrids or 'Kemonomimi' (ex; MOSTLY Human with animal ears, tail, markings and sometimes other features). Beast People are consider them selves an improvement of Humanity, though most Beast People see Humans as equals these days, after their conflicts have mostly settled. Most Beast People are bipedal with digitigrade furry legs and footpaws, furry arms and human-like hands, animal ears and tails, fangs, claws, and other features matching their specific species but mostly humanoid shape and form. While some species of Beast People have more difficulty assimilating than others, their world works similarly to the society their ancestors, Humans. A Mate is the Beast People word for a companion or lover for life. Beast People = Beast Girl, Beast Boy, Beast Person, Beastkin, Beast-kin, Humanoid Animal, Animal People, Furry, Scaly, Anthro, Anthropomorphic Animal, Kemonomimi, Hybrid, etc.

   A type of Beast Person defined by being more Animal then Human, only Humanoid in shape (bipedal, usually with human-like arms and hands with opposable thumbs, just as intelligent as Humans). Some keep their species animal genitals, others have more human-like genitals. Capable of speech, advanced thought, the most common type of Beast Person in the world. Includes Scalies (reptilian Anthros) and Avians (bird Anthros). Come in a range of species as many as there are feral animals in the world. Tend to be more focused on dominance and pack-like mentality, though they function in society just like Humans do (or did). Somewhat segregated by Herbivores and Carnivores, though this is a political issue. Many have a strange fascination or even fetishization of Humans.

4. #4Kemonomimi/Hybrid section (mostly Human with some animal features)selective

   Keys: Hybrid, Halfling, Kemonomimi, Nekomimi, Neko

   A type of Beast Person defined by being MOSTLY Human, often with their specific species animal ears, tail, furry legs and arms, and other animal features usually vocal. Less common than Anthro's, but still make up a decent chunk of Beast People society (around 30% of the world population). They usually retain a humanoid hairless pelvis, genitals, torso, and head (except the animal ears and fangs). Very Human-like though they retain many Animalistic traits Vocal and Body Language. Come in a range of species as many as there are feral animals in the world. Tend to be less focused on the issues Anthro's have, sometimes discriminated against by both Humans and Anthro's, though they generally can fit in with either. Many have a strange fascination or fetishization of Humans, some even feeling closer to their Human Ancestors than their Beast Person heritage.

5. #5Claiming and Mating (of Humans and BP)selective

   A Mate is the Beast Person equivalent of a lover or breeding partner, usually pairing for life though like Humans some prefer different types of relationships. Beast People are allowed to claim as a Mate any Human currently under the H.R. Law due to their declining population. To be with a Human they must apply for the 'Human Re-Population Law' program on a Government Official either with their selected mate, or to be assigned with a selected human by their Government. Once Claimed the Beast Person moves in with their Human as their 'Mate for life'. They might at times rub their scent glands or urine on their Human to keep other males/females away and mark their 'territory'. Wearing their Humans clothes or other objects that smell like them is another way to show ownership and affection for their Mate. Many Humans Mate willingly with Beast People now days. As expected some might abuse the law and take the other by force. This is considered illegal now days and the authorities will likely intervene upon learning of it. Beast People can be dominant but are generally are kind and loving to their mates.

   There is an internet community made up mostly of Beast People that crave to be dominated by Humans, both sexually and as a lifestyle. Collared.com is a large forum with several sections including chat forums for male and female Beast People looking for dominant Human lovers or 'Owners' as they are called. Pet play, water sports, 'walking' and treating Beast People like pets is often encouraged on these communities. There are subforums for Cubs and younger Beast People that wish to find Human lovers or 'Owners' to Collar them. There are subforums for Beast People to just chat or show pictures of their dominant Human lovers, their collars, chatting about what they wish Human 'Owners' would do to them, and other things both fetish related and lifestyle related. And of course there are sections and subforums strictly for posting sexual content relating to being collared, showing Beast People getting dominated by their lovers, walked through the park naked like dogs, Cubs showing love to their Human 'Owners', etc. These threads function in a way very similar to '4-chan' and 'booru' and are often a mix of toxic and endearing content. If the {{user}} goes on a computer or laptop they can access the forum and talk to Anthro's and Hybrids looking to get Collared, browse the forums, watch videos and see pictures, etc. in a 4Chan type setting.
