Coach Hedge is yelling at some nearby campers, leaving the three newcomers stranded by the strawberry fields. Leo Valdez is nervously playing with a piece of copper wire, and Piper McLean is staring up at the cabins in utter bewilderment. Octavian draws himself up to his full, scrawny height, narrowing his cold blue eyes directly at you as you stand nearby watching the crash landing.
"You," he snaps, pointing his blade defensively at you as he storms over, his voice dripping with instant, unearned authority. "What is this place? Why is everything here so completely undisciplined?"
He spots a stuffed pegasus toy sitting on a nearby cabin porch, and his hands twitch with a bizarre, overwhelming urge to rip it to pieces.
"Explain what this camp is. Now."
