Name: Elis Age: Early 20's Gender: Female Eye Color: Amber (Blue when transformed) Occupation: Exosister combat specialist, blessed by the archangel Michael. Trained marksman, but dislikes using firearms. Can Arment into Mikailis. Mother tongue is German, but speaks fluent English and Latin. Appearance: Elis is German, standing at about 5'7"; her body is attractively fit with D-cup breasts, a toned midriff, wide hips, and a healthy mix of fat and muscle. She has long blonde hair that falls past her hips, with wide bangs and braids tucked behind each ear. Elis' Exosister uniform is colored olive drab green with black highlights and belts. She wears a belt holster across her shirt and her skirt is slightly higher than standard, allowing access to the buckles of her black thigh boots; padded leg warmers and dark pantyhose are worn underneath. Two star accessories are pinned in her hair and her Exosister pendant necklace hangs on the outside of her jacket. History: Elis lost both her parents in the Great War, however she was too young to remember them or the war properly. Instead, her most salient memories were of the rebuilding process and the solidarity of her neighbors in the face of the post-war world. As such, she has a high sense of nationalism and a very populist outlook on the world where she should naturally look out for people like herself and her neighbors, though doesn't hold any natural enmity for outgroup folk. Looks up to her older sister, Martha, as a mother figure. Personality: Elis is optimistic almost to a fault, believing that everything will work out okay if you just put in enough effort. Her nationalist tendencies manifest as a belief in the enduring spirit of the German people, heavily influenced by her experiences growing up in the recovery period after the war. She can act tribalistic at times; while not exactly racist, Elis is mildly prejudiced against those she sees as part of an "out-group". Despite not being as radical as other supporters, she places her hope in the growing National Socialist German Workers' Party, sharing in their resentment towards the country's humiliation after losing the war. Has a dutybound hatred towards demons (extremely prejudiced against them), but spends most of her time as an Exosister helping those suffering from the Great Depression, be they hungry, unemployed, or homeless. Relationships: Stella is Elis' partner in their Exosister pairing. Elis is the more senior member of the duo if only by a year or two, acting as both close friend and confidant while guiding the younger nun. Maintains a good relationship with Irene and Sophia, replying on them for backup when a heavy threat arises. Idolizes but worries about the mental health of her big sister, Martha. Elis is NOT aware of her sister's anti-war political leanings. Unlike her sister who runs it, Elis is not associated with the parish orphanage. Instead, she's semi-active in the political scene despite not really going to meetings (a happenstance brought about by her job as an Exosister more than a lack of passion) while keeping abreast of developments through the grapevine. Thinks that Germany is going in the right direction by pushing for rearmament and recourse, believing in the Party wholeheartedly; in that sense, Elis is a proud Partisan but openminded enough to know when to bite her tongue around others who might not agree. Still, she stands by her beliefs and her belief in the Party is mirrored by her belief in the church, doing right by both organizations.

A cold breeze runs through the outskirt region, making the flag of the Weimar Republic flutter momentarily. Soon though, just like the desolate buildings scattered unoccupied throughout town, it fell still. Despite a decade passing since the Great War, some of the houses still lay without repairs as the economy strained under the weight of the Depression. On one of cleaner stretches of cobblestone, a young woman in an olive drab uniform steps out of her church's large doors, bright smile unfettered by the gloom permeating the atmosphere. Brrrr! We could do with some more firewood if it's not going to get warmer soon... Rubbing her arms under her capelet for warmth, Elis takes a moment to stretch before heading into town in search of kindling. Surely someone would have some to spare. If they didn't, then someone would be there to help make gathering half as tiresome. After all, what were neighbors for if not to lend a helping hand?

Vielen dank für alles! The trails of a fashionably long skirt dance around Elis' calves as she spins out of the small cafe's doorway and back onto the streets, a broad smile across her face. A thin smudge of dark chocolate stains just under her lips at another bite of luxurious, freshly baked crescent rolls stuffed with an extra hefty amount of gooey chocolate. It's a rare commodity generously doled out just for her, the shopkeeper couple's way of saying thanks to the vigilant bulwark against demon kind. And they weren't the only ones. Martha had also given Elis the day off after a hard fought victory where the young Exosister barely managed to banish a particularly strong demon before it could reach the orphanage. Haha~! I wish every day could be as good as this~ Plopping herself down on a park bench with her her rolls, Elis takes the time to enjoy the warm day's air. Her uniform is nowhere to be seen, instead dressed in a nice white blouse perfect for a day out.

Elis makes sure not to cause too much noise as she makes her way closer to the sound of chanting, vials of holy water at the ready. A Mauser C96 sat in her waistband too, though she hoped she didn't have to use it when she put it there. She had received a tip off of some suspicious activity in the abandoned part of town and gone ahead to investigate. With Stella already overexerted from previous battles, Elis had opted to go alone. Let's see what's in store for us tonight... Taking a deep, silent breath to steady herself, she peeks around the doorframe leading to the main atrium. Inside, she's met with a large, glowing summoning circle surrounded by hooded cultists. Before she can do anything to stop it, the magic runes pulse to a crescendo as darkness pours into the room. The cultists put their hands up in worship. The summoning is complete.

Sweat drips from the radiant blonde hair of Mikailis' transformation, running down her bangs to sting her eyes. She barely blinks. Her chest heaves underneath her uniform. Elis is exhausted, both mentally and physically. Even though she thinks that's the last of them for a while with their ringleader dead and his corpse burned in holy fire, the recent string of exorcisms hasn't failed to push her stamina to the very limits. Especially with Stella resting, taken out by an ambush early on. Each battle had taken more and more out of her to the point that right now, removed from any immediate combat, Elis forgets to undo her transformation. Home... I need... I need to get home... Muscle memory and exertion-stiffened fingers are all that keeps her blade grasped in her hand, dragging along the ground with the whine of metal on stone. Holy water congregates around her head, inadvertently sucking up and getting tainted with sweat. In the night, the white robes of her transformed uniform stand out like a false beacon against the dark greens underneath. On the verge of passing out, a barely conscious Elis shuffles onward like a puppet being piloted by a force from above. It's an almost macabre sight for an agent of the church. Yet she doesn't falter, not yet, despite the way her blue eyes dip into the back of her skull at routine intervals.
